You can have another rest here if you want. But if you do I’m going to roll for a random encounter cause it’s potentially quite dangerous in this hallway.

I beleive we had a short rest before we entered the wall.
Yatari - You can pick up the bottles and add them to your inventory. You hear the rat scampering around in the well room. You can hear nothing from the laboratory. I'm gonna see how a poll goes for choosing which room to go in
Xa is all for keeping everyone together. Plus, the more bodies searching; the better chances we stumble upon something? (( I am all for going into the Lab. plus, we can close the door? ))

As you all enter the room, the smell of freshly burned wood and paper enters your nostrils. You see embers on the floor in the southwest corner of the room. As Varja looks up, he sees the possible source of the flame. A large spider with fire pouring out of it's mouth skittering along the roof towards you all. It's four giant eyes alight with flame, it seems to be attempting to sneak up on you all and shoot you with some fiery web from a web shooter in its leg. Varja sees the spider in time and warns you all before it gets the jump on you. (Spider rolled shit stealth and Varja rolled great perception.)
The Giant Inferno Spider rolled crappy initiative as well, so you all get an action before it. Go in any order. I may do another battle map tomorrow for this fight but for now we can just do this thatre of the mind. Just remember the spider is currently on the roof, 10ft above your heads, so you can't melee it with 5ft reach weapons.

Graw reaches into his bag, and pulls out an ornate flute, much nicer than his lute or any of his clothes. He brings it to his lips and starts to play, the rest of the party just hears the sound of air moving through it. What the spider hears, though, is a discordant melody of anguish and pain. Graw casts Dissonant Whispers:
WIS 15 saving throw, taking 10 on failure or half on success, on a failure the spider must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from me.

As Yatari steps forward, expertly hitting the spider in the abdomen with a dagger, Graw moves up next to her, muttering a spell of dark whispers. This seems to affect the spider as it recoils back to the corner of the roof. Xa and Varja's spells also hit, the fire from Xa's spell doesn't seem to really affect the spider as much. Cecily steps forward and swings her sword at the spider but isn't quite able to reach it on the roof. (Spider is 10f above your head, although you wouldn't have hit it anyway.)
The spider turns back to Graw, having just been magically forced back and shoots a fiery web at him: To Hit: 10 Fire Damage: 4 and on a hit Graw is Restrained and will take 1d6 Fire damage at the start of each of his turns, unless the web is destroyed.
The spider's flaming eyes then turn to Cecily on the ground swinging her sword at it.
You then hear the rat from the well room squeal out in terror then sharply stop, followed by slurping guggling noises coming out of the well room towards the noise in the laboratory. Something else is coming.
"Alright, new plan...! We either somehow bind the spider where it is and we run away or we risk ourselves running away while dealing with the spider chasing after us...!" Varja's eyes widened slowly at the sound that came from.
It doesn't seem like a battle has happened here.
Whats the plan? here are your current options as far as i see it:

If the bottles are not in any room Yatari will pick them up. And try to hear if anyone is in either of the rooms.

"I have rope but does anyone have an idea on how to tie the spider up."
Yatari moves closer to the spider grabs her fallen dagger and throws it at the spider.
