Well...the rogue is passed out. Someone should probably help him before he bleeds out on the comforter. Even if he is just exhausted, mostly.

Aurora looks fascinated as Elsenia tells the tale, and gasps when the druid gets to the part about the dress. The dhampir shakes her head ruefully "That dress sounded awesome. I would have loved to wear it. Oh well"

At Weaver's exclamation, Ooboron's grin turns into a look of concern. He follows the fairy to Theo's door. When she tries to open it, calling after their friend, and can't enter or get a response, the loxodon tells her to step aside. He takes a few steps back, lowers one shoulder, and charges at the door!

Strength check? Let's go ahead and use my inspiration: 12

I'm going to say that with the inspiration and the fact Ooboron is huge, I'll say you can break down the door. It crashes to the floor, revealing the unconscious body of Theo

Weaver flies in, agonizing over the fact that she doesn't have any gadgets (spell slots) available to cure Theo, so instead, she'll just try to stabilize him with her basic knowledge of medicine. 

Medicine: 16

Ooboron watches Weaver attempt to help Theo, his whole body almost vibrating with anxiety. Massaging his amulet unconsciously, he whispers, "Get better, little friend."

healing word: 8

Weaver tries to heal him, but to no avail. Ooboron, however, steps up, and puts one of his huge hands atop the rabbit-mans head, covering his face. He whispers words of encouragement, then summons some of the magic he learned, reviving his friend. Theo sits up, and the first thing he sees is the massive loxodon's hand.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: I have a gift for you all:

You all hit level three!!! It's three exclamation points for level three. Imagine what it'll look like if you guys hit level 20

OOC: YAY!

IC: "Aw thanks best friends! Seems I'm not as tough as I thought I was." He beams a smile at everyone, "I owe you guys."

Ooboron can't help himself. He scoops up Theo into his big arms and squeezes the little guy out of great relief. "I thought we might lose you!" he says into his neck, his eyes closed. He grabs the harengon by the upper arms, and holds him at arm's length so that Theo's legs and feet hang limply. Scowling, Ooboron chides him, "Don't ever do that again. If you are hurt, you tell us. What if Weaver hadn't noticed the blood? What if you'd ... " He trails off, his eyes starting to sparkle.

"Aw shucks big buddy...I was you know...trying to be tough..." clearly the bunny is abashed, "I didn't want to let you guys see me...being weak."

Ooboron lowers Theo back to his bed. The loxodon's shoulders slump, and he takes a step back, seeming to realize how bold he had been before. "We have to stick together," he says meekly. "I feel like this place is out to get us," he says mostly to himself.

Weaver is elated and beyond excited that Theo is okay. "Don't scare us like that, Theo - Ooby is right, you and me and him and Elsenia (and Aurora too, but she scares me a little) need to stick together, because like a clockwork contraption, it doesn't work if there's the smallest gear just a hare out of place." She grins, feeling very clever. 

Hearing the commotion from Ooby slamming into the door, Elsenia steps into the room, her eyes going wide at the sight of the blood Theo dripped onto the floor.

"Theo! I thought you were all right, but all this blood...Next time you should tell us if you're hurt," says the druid. "We're friends, right? Friends stick together."

At Weaver's quip, the pale druid smiles. "Exactly like Weaver says. And yes, Ooby, I think this place is really out to get us!"

And on that note, we finish this scene. 

Scene #6: Magical Physiologies Exam #3: Otyugh!

It's another test! Because you're going to school! Because you chose too! Y'all know the drill.

• Otyugh Lair Evidence. Choosing the correct multiple choice answers about physical signs pointing to the presence of an otyugh, including large piles of particularly noxious trash, deep vats of liquid dung, chunks of carrion scattered among filth, and incongruous noises coming from the trash, requires a successful DC 13 Intelligence (Investigation) check.

• Otyughs as Guardians. Writing short essays about the details of which intelligent creatures might use otyughs as guardians requires a successful DC 13 Charisma (Persuasion) check.

Weaver is going to stick a clothespin on her nose, and go rooting around in the campus garbage chutes, since she read somewhere that otyughs like trash, and what better way to study than by method acting?

Then after a subtle reminder from Elsenia, she'll take a good long soak in a tub before showing up for exams.

Ooboron decides to try absorbing what he studies about Otyughs by acting like them. He imagines himself a cunning creature with three legs, its eyes and nose at the end of one vine-like stalk, two more tentacles with spiky ends, and a gaping maw. He creates a pile of clothes on the floor and hides underneath them, pretending he is waiting for his next meal. He gives Theo quite a shock when he reaches out and grabs the harengon's unsuspecting ankle.
