(OOC: I know how grappling works. They're calm in your grip.) Calanin slices his shortswords through the air, but the person ducks their head. Can Saferetan make a Dexterity saving throw to avoid the blades?

Thank the gods no one noticed our position waking up! I can take being assassinated in my sleep. That's understandable. Being assassinated while unwittingly spooning a Dragonborn would have been unacceptable.
I owe the big guy, both for saving me my life and the embarrassment.
[If he's grappled and I aimed center mass, would I have advantage on an attack roll?]

I glance at Kurraht and make a specific face to tell him I know what happened. ( :3 )

(OOC: lol what a peaceful little conversation that sounds quite a bit like Game of Thrones- I'd say that yes, if you aimed for center mass, you have advantage.)

[Firebolt to hit w/ advantage: Got a Nat 20, Damage w/ crit: 12]
I point dead center at the cretin, a mote of yellow fire tearing from my fingertip, hitting the would-be slitter in their chest. My magic carries me a tad further away, in case this fool has any last-ditch tricks up their sleeve.
[He moves as far back as the room allows, up to 10 ft.]
Your firebolt hits him right in the chest, and he screams in pain before pulling out a vial of red potion. Before anyone can stop him, he smashes it on the ground before he stops moving. Fire bursts from the floor and fills the room.
(OOC: 100 XP to everyone for killing him)

[Matthÿse has enough XP to lvl up. Is that immediate or does it resolve after a long rest?]
If the room is catching fire, Matthÿse would hurry and grab his armor, shield and warhammer. The rest is of no importance at the moment.
Matthÿse wouldn't have any idea of what the liquid is, and unless the doorway isn't also on fire, maybe the window is the safest way to escape.
You've all seen Matthÿse manifest wings, when Freytha first rescued us while riding the Roc. But he would spend his turn gathering his equipment first.
I calmly put my bedroll into my backpack, and I help the others. None of my stuff was really taken out so I don't have to pack up. As my action I readyFog Cloud. I yell, "Get out of here soon, I am going to use the fog cloud spell, it might kill the fire by removing the oxygen in the room!"
I sigh and walk out of the room, "The smoke is going to kill you if you don't get out here soon!"
[OoC: Is it because we killed goblins? I killed at least one goblin. I leveled up too...sadly it didn't do much as I am multiclassing]
