DM Comment: Please do tell me reactions you would like to take in advance - it makes my job easier. Especially if you want to take them every turn. For Pisgah, you'd need to roll the d8 anyway. For heavily condition based reactions such as opportunity attacks, it's fine to tell me afterwards.
Ricos shots fly wide, the manticore barely dodging them.
Steel closes the gap with its impressive speed, delivering a devastating strike. The manticore 3 collapses to the floor, dead.
Seeing this beast being taken out of the equation, Canti moves up. Her bow firing rapidly, three of the arrows hit manticore 2.
Initiative Order: Canti and Rico Manticore 3, dead Pisgah, Nikk and Jaya < YOUR TURN Manticores 1 and 2
Pisgah throws his longbow down the hallway toward Rico with his left hand as he draws his greatsword with his right. Swinging the sword up he grabs it with both hands and brings it down at the manticore.
Attack 1: 21 to hit; 15 damage (roll 13 plus 2 rage damage
Attack 2: 22 to hit; 12 damage (roll 10 plus 2 rage damage
Pisgah calls at that he will move around the manticore to be on the north side of the beast (without stepping out of melee range) to set up a flanking position for someone.
If an attack from the beast hits, he will use his tail reaction to add 4 to his AC for the hit for a 19 AC. If the manticore moves away after the others he will take his AoC.
Nikkitch moves up to take position behind Pisgah, creating several Mirror Images to act as an impromptu defense.
[Note: Rolled 1d20 and got 13, so if either Manticore goes for Nikk and manages to hit, his first duplicate takes the blow instead. If not, ignore this.]
Both remaining manticores are roaring in pain as most of your attacks connect. They remain in their positions, desperately raking at you, as if ferocity could substitue for power.
Manticore 1 continues attacking Pisgah: To hit: 10, Damage: 8 slashing To hit: 23 (hits despide tail swipe), Damage: 6 slashing To hit: 22, Damage: 4 slashing
Manticore 2, limping after the brutal assault of Canti and Jaya, throws out a flurry of paw swipes at the latter. To hit: 23, Damage: 7 slashing To hit: 16, Damage: 6 slashing To hit: 12, Damage: 9 slashing The dragonborn retaliates with a riposte, almost killing the monstrosity, but not quite.
Nikkitch: Since Pisgah moved around manticore 1 to the north, Nikkitch doesn't have enough movement to stay behind him now. He is still at the previous position. You may update this lost movement by gaining an additional 30 feet movement this round.
Initiative Order: Everyone < YOUR TURN Manticore 1, wounded and manticore 2, heavily wounded

[I posted just after he did, but didn't see until after refreshing. Whether he moved or not, the goal was to get close. A body being in front to draw aggression was just for added convenience.]
Rico will move up to beside Canti and takes a couple of shots at manticore 1
Shot 1: attack 21 damage 16
Shot 2: Attack 28 damage 15
OOC; Finally got good rolls for both attack and damage :-)
If it is still alive, Rico will call Steel over to attack the maticore she's shooting at (#2), otherwise send it to #1 if it's still alive. She doesn't need to tell Steel to seek a flanking position, that's part of his combat programming.
Steel moves to get flanking on his target (#2 or #1), then attacks with his Force-Empowered Rend: Attack: 16 Damage: 27
Jaya strikes down manticore 2 and Rico, together with Steel, manages to take down manticore 1. As all three bodies are now slumped to the floor, combat is over.
We're out of initiative. You each gain 450 XP from the fight.
Now that the adrenalin subsides, you get a better look at this large room. The ceiling, like the one in the statue hallway, disappears into the darkness overhead. On the east wall, there are three double doors, evenly spaced. At the south wall, another double door. It reeks badly in here, most of the odor coming from the dead monstrosities and their nests, which are located around the room.
Nikkitch is quick to capitalize on their end. It's too bad they were all dead. He would've enjoyed a pet or two to distract his foes/eat his enemies. Oh well. He draws a dagger and approaches the corpse of #3. He tries to draw the blade across the belly, hoping on the off chance of them having swallowed trinkets from previous meals. Perhaps a precise stone or two, maybe a ring from a chewed finger...?
[Sleight of Hand, with help from his final Kenku Recall slot: 17]
After tending to the wounded, Rico and Steel will explore the room, looking for anything useful left over from previous victims. Of particular interest is recovering arrows used in this fight and any old arrows used in previous fights, or perhaps finding a quiver from someone who didn't make it out alive. Even if the arrows are in bad shape or broken, Rico can mend them.
Nikk: You don't find anything of use in the stomach. [Nature]: But you have read in the past that the tails and wings of manticores fetch a decent price if sold to a leatherworker in good condition.¹
Rico: You find a couple of items in the nests, amongst bones, crushed skulls and mouldering fabric: A chain shirt, a flail, a wooden flute, a pouch containing 15 sp and 30 cp, a pouch containing 25 gp, and a silver necklace with a bloodstone pendant (250 gp). You can roll 3d6 for the amount of arrows you can find here that are either still intact or can be mended. Perception 23: you also spot a strange necklace around the neck of one skeleton. As you examine it closer, you are certain that it is magical.
¹Nature check to harvest successfully. DC 15 for the tail, DC 20 for the wings (x2). You can try this separately for each manticore. If you fail, the item is ruined and the check can't be attempted again.
A tail is worth 10 gp and weights 12 lb. A set of wings is worth 40 gp and weights 35 lb.
Disappointed, Nikkitch briefly relays in the Manticore's voice that the body parts are valuable. He then proceeds around the room, looking for anything hidden.
Nothing especially sticks out to Nikkitch and Jaya, except that it stinks quite badly like rotten flesh whenever you get closer to the three doors to the east. The smell doesn't just come from the manticores and their nests.
Actually ... let's action surge.
Moving with extra speed, Canti is able to fire four arrows this round.
Attack 3: 24 Damage: 10
Attack 4: 28 Damage: 12
Above directions about targets remains the same: all at #3 unless it dies, in which case I'll move up in front of Nikk and target #2.
6 arrows spent this battle (started with 18 in quiver).

Jaya drops his crossbow and pulls out his Longsword and attacks the manticore in front of him (#2) using the sword with two hands.
Attack with Longsword: 21 Damage: 13
Attack with Longsword: 13 Damage: 7
Jaya taps into his energy reserves and Action Surges, attacking two more times.
Attack with Longsword: 20 Damage: 11
Attack with Longsword: 9 (nat 1) Damage: 11
OOC: If #2 attacks me and misses I will use my reaction and Riposte.

Everyone < YOUR TURN
Manticore 1, wounded and manticore 2, heavily wounded
Pisgah repeats the same strategy. Both attacks I believe will miss at an 11 and 9 to hit.
Jaya continues the manticore in front of him. If the first blow fells the beast, he will move to the other manticore for the second attack.
Attack with Longsword: 9 (nat 1) UG! Damage: 10
Attack with Longsword: 16 (Add Precision Attack) Damage: 13

Oops, I entered Steels damage wrong, as 3d8 when it should be 2d8. But since all the rolls are maxed, just dropping one gives 19 damage.
Jaya strikes down manticore 2 and Rico, together with Steel, manages to take down manticore 1. As all three bodies are now slumped to the floor, combat is over.

Starting with the highest priority, Rico offers to bandage the wounds for Jaya and Pisgah.
If they accept being treated, this heals:
Jaya: 15
Pisgah: 15
This healing is from the Healer feat. She won't be able to use this healing on them again until after a short rest.
After tending to the wounded, Rico and Steel will explore the room, looking for anything useful left over from previous victims. Of particular interest is recovering arrows used in this fight and any old arrows used in previous fights, or perhaps finding a quiver from someone who didn't make it out alive. She wants to keep the archers well supplied!

Jaya gladly excepts the healing, thanks!
He’ll also search just in case anyone missed something!
