For planning purposes, your character will begin about halfway through 2nd level and may be created by either using the standard array or allocating a 27-point buy.
At this stage, however, no character sheets please ... but I would love to hear about the character you would be interested in playing.
Although this tale will not take place in the Forgotten Realms, for simplicity's sake, I do plan on using the Forgotten Realms pantheon.
The party is currently adventuring in the wilderness and after a reconnaissance mission, discovered plans of an impending goblin raid that targets the nearby village of South Fork. Current plan is to travel to that village to warn the village and/or aid in their defense. Any new characters added to the tale will be added to the next scene as the party approaches South Fork. (the new character could be from that village, or just passing through, etc)
A paladin of Torm the True, keenly interested in investigating holy relics rumored to be in the Ruins of Thornwood Abbey. An orc druid, banished from his savage tribe, he is rediscovering what it means to walk in the world of men. An elven wizard of the Arcane Syndicate, keen on visiting the forgotten places of the world and discovering what magical secrets might lie there.
A dwarven wizard, kicked out of the Arcane Syndicate after too many unexplained explosions. And that was right before she finished her thesis - Incorporating Fireballs into our Daily Lives.
I offer Mal'thrae, a half drow rogue! Having lived in the underdark for most of his life as a second-class servant of a drow noble house, his family took it upon themselves to escape. During their ascent to the surface, they were waylaid by the scouts of the noble house, who attacked. All of Mal'thrae's surviving family (father, himself, and a younger sister) successfully fled, but they became separated. Mal'thrae made his way to the surface alone and now travels in search of both family and purpose, with little to his name except a cloak and his trusty crossbow at his side. He finds himself currently living in an alley in the village of South Fork, living on scraps.
I am on EST if that helps, so I can post around the same time you can!
A white dragonborn bard who travels world seeking inspiration in every note, every sunrise, and every chance encounter. He seeks tales about heroes and monsters and is often at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Very cool! I'd like to put forward Osmund Rusk, hill dwarf barbarian who must slay an epic beast or foe in order to secure his place in the great saga of his clan's long history!
**Ka'Zirr** is a Thri-Kreen sorcerer from a distant tribe. He was always a little unusual for a mantisfolk and was often sent on 'very important' 'diplomatic missions'. He's gotten sidetracked in South Fork - he has a craving for sugar and one of the locals make some really good cookies. He has the soul of an adventurer but the attention span of. . . well, a bug.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Joryth, an Aasimar Ranger who spent his childhood in a distant monastery, more ruin than not, deep in the wilds raised by the men and women who maintained it still in honor of what it had represented at one time. He apprenticed with a ranger who would trade and bring food to the monastery. Often threatened by goblins and kobolds, Joryth became proficient in dealing with them and protecting his friends and family there.Recently though, he left for reasons, and those reasons lead him to Havenford.
Those reasons have brought a vested interest in the rumors of what is around Havenford and Joryth hopes to find like-minded individuals to explore these unique locations.
Thank you for you interest, gang.
Recruiting has now closed for this tale. I have directly PM'd the folks that will be joining the game.
