To the south we go! As I understand it, the marching order is as follows, from front to back:

• Amari (stealthing)
• Kass (stealthing)
• Wripers & Ruin (clink-clank loud robot sounds and munching)

As you make your way down the tunnel, which twists and turns, Amari notices something in the wall to her right: the outline of a door is visible in the wall. A secret door!

If it's pointed out to the rest of us, Kass whispers "Just be careful when you open it! Make sure Ruin is out of the way!" 

Amari's voice calmly reaches everyone's ears. "A door, friends. Here."

She taps the end of her shortsword against the wall, hoping the sound will direct everyone to the hidden door's location...

Everyone finds the hidden door, and after all the neccesary precautions, including listening at the door and checking it for traps, you have determined it is most likely safe to open. And so, with Ruin standing far back, you open the door, and look inside the room. 

The room is plain and simple, the only thing of note a fancy chair sitting in the center of it.

What do you do?

"Hmm," Kass says.  "This is interesting.  Let's see if it moves."  He summons a Mage Hand from outside the room, and sends it in to wiggle the chair and see if it moves.

The chair wiggles across the floor.

Kass looks at the others.  "Seems safe to me," he shrugs, and walks in.  

Wripers looks about the room. He's wants more shiny stuff. Instead all he has is that coin and that weird scroll. You can't even eat it. Or read it. Not that he could read.

...what was he thinking about?

[Perception: 28]

You walk in the room and nothing happens. Your muscles tense, waiting form some devious trap, but nothing happens. Nothing at all.

Wripers notices nothing, except that the fancy chair is covered in gems.

Is anyone staying outside the room? And what do you do once you enter

Kass will take a look around the room for other exits or hidden surprises.

Perception check: 30 

She sees four small orbs floating up near the ceiling. They are silvery in color. Though made of no discernible material you can think of.

The little troublemaker draws his hammer, ready to strike. He wants the shiny stuff in the chair. So naturally... he smashes it.

[Attack roll or Athletics?]

Gimme a strength check to see how much of the fancy chair you smash.

As Wripers descends upon the chair with violence, Amari begins to consider which spell she will call upon if things go sideways...

Wripers goes to town on the chair, causing quite a ruckus. He manages to crack off a bunch of gems and other shinies, though nothing edible, sadly. 

Amari also notices the silvery orbs near the ceiling. Kass or Amari, give me an Arcana check to identify them.

Noting that Amari is better at these things than he is, Kass throws a bardic inspiration her way (d12) for the check to help.

"I was working a case for this family in Elturel before it fell, usual runaway scenario, or so I thought. Anyways, the trail led me to the city sewers, and there in this big chamber was the young man's body, along with three others. All headless. I looked up, and it was the damndest thing - vargouilles, all of them, severed heads with bat wings for ears, circling around like those silver jobbies are doing right now. Anyway, I'm sure these aren't those, but I'm pretty sure you can figure out what they are."
