Zolya looks at the party and whispers "She said go through the ball-room. I would rather not, since it will probably be filled with fiends. Should we try to find another way?"

As they stare at the hallway, Kagenthur speaks up, "If I'm not mistaken, she said we'd find the documents in the East. That door-"
He points at (door c) then continues
"-Is East."
Hearing the same sounds as everyone else he adds,
"I'm not afraid of a little conflict, and would prefer the most direct way, but sometimes going through a wall causes a cave in. We should see if there's a way around like Zolya said, perhaps the other hallway?" pointing his he towards (a)
With Geoffrey in the lead, the four of you begin to explore the Tower of Song. Upon reaching the next junction of hallways, you are able to see what is to the north. This long hall dead ends at a door that appears to be guarded by another fiendish brute who seems wholly disinterested in his current task. He does not notice you. Along the left-hand side of this hallway are five doors; along the right are three more. Considering how close the doors are to one another, you surmise the rooms behind them are quite small.
From behind one of the doors to the east (D), you hear the unmistakeable sounds of clanging pots and pans. You have little doubt that door leads to the kitchen.
Updated map. Fiendish brute denoted with orange square. We can assume the four of you are standing in the hallway that runs east/west.
Kagenthur whispers to the person directly in front of him, "Well, from here, The kitchen (d) is to the East. Given I don't see any waiters, there must be another entrance that might continue that direction. That'll also cover any...noise we have to make along the way."
He smirked a little bit, then continued, "Either that or rush the guard (orange) and try on of those doors."
"Ze kitchen sounds like a bit of activity going on, may mean more then a few in zere. Zough hopefully none ready for a bit of a tussle. The Invisiblity trick worked for our last 'helper' perhaps we should follow suit?" Boisseau twitches his fingers at the suggestion.
"How many of us can you make invisible? I knew you were skilled in the ways of magic, but do your limits stretch to cloaking a whole party from the eyes of a devil?"

"2 sadly, I have been working on more but 2 I can do for sure. Anybody else have this, ability?" Boisseau points at different combination of 2 to choose. Showing that he can be one of the 2 but doesn't have to be.
As you sift through your options, the door to the main room (door C) opens and two human females, finely attired, enter the hallway and immediately proceed through door B. You hear a short conversation between one of the women and someone else in the room.
"You want to store your cloaks, ladies?" speaks whoever was already in the room.
"Indeed. And take care with them," responds one of the human females somewhat snippily.
"Of course. Enjoy the dinner and show," comes the reply.
The two women exit the room, having left their cloaks within. They glance at you, somewhat disinterestedly, but one of them says, "Ah, you must be the entertainment later this evening. We do expect great things."
Both women laugh out loud and return through the door to the main room.
"Interesting" Zolya ponders this interaction "It seems as if people know we're the entertainment. We could use this to our advantage, with a bit of deception, we could go wherever we want without the need for stealth as long as we avoid those who would be on the lookout for us, such as guards"

Agreeing with Zolya, Kagenthur chimes in, "Aye that's a solid plan. Maybe we ask for directions to his office and claim we've a pre-show meeting with him? Otherwise, it'll look suspicious that we're not headed for the stage."
"I'm good with that." Geoffrey says. (He has a +4 to deception; anyone better? maybe give guidance or Bard Inspire)
I have Guidance and of course, Bardic Inspiration, like we all do. As for actual deception, I have +5 by virtue of my high charisma and Jack of All trades.

"We could turn half of us invisible and the other 2 ask for directions saying the other members of our group are zere waiting for us and we got turned around."
Zolya looks at Boisseau, then turns to the rest of the party "That could work! Me and Boisseaucan be the ones uninvisible, talking to the guards, while Kagenthur and Geoffrey can be invisible, ready to assist in a fight from a moments notice. So, who's going to cast the spell?"

The preferred marching order would be Geoffrey up front, followed by Kagenthur, then Boisseau, then Zolya

Kagenthur nods excitedly in agreement to the suggestion.
"Hahaha, they'll never see me coming."
Just waiting to confirm that Geoffrey will cast the invisibility spell...
(Moving things along)
Geoffrey utters the words to the invisibility spell and suddenly Zolya and Boisseau flicker out of sight. Only Geoffrey and Kagenthur remain visible.
Moments later, an imp exits the kitchen (door D) and, with a small platter of food in hand, flies into the main room.
