After seeing to it that everyone's collected water has been purified (if not by Vrak's hands, then at least his own through Ritual Casting), Jolly will down some of his own before making the trip. And though fairly at ease on the surface during the first half of the trip, he still keeps a close eye out for danger. For the second, however, he just... couldn't help himself. He knew of and has seen other kin assuming the form of beasts. But something about Zee's chosen forms enraptured the giant-kin. So much so, in fact, any embarrassing flails or general nervousness radiating off folks waiting their turn to be air lifted barely registers to him.
While dim somewhat in comparison, regarding the pyramid up close to receive similar awe, as well as nearly drive the firbolg to immediately touch its surface. He /doesn't/ of course! But things were a bit touch and go until Zee mentioned the glyph.
"This one does not suppose that you have visited enough other 'Yuan-ti' temples to expect anything in particular? Otherwise, uhmmm... this one can offer the Mother's counsel if need be, but beyond-..."He looks to the others expectantly; especially of Naivara and Vrak.

Zee shrugs. "Pitfalls, poisonous snakes, human sacrifice, bizarre evil rituals. That about covers the Yuan-Ti in a nutshell. Just stay on your toes and have eyes in the back of your head. Try not to be impulsive."
With Zubeki and Musharib hard at work building the raft Vrak goes around and collects everyone's water skins after they drink what remains from them. They are filled with water from the river and piled together. Vrak then stands over them and casts Purify Food and Drink over them to remove poison and disease making the water safe to drink.
With the passage of the river completed the trek to the temple is completed safely.
"I can move the stone, and with the help of Jolly I am sure it will pose no problem for us. We will take a short rest, drink some water and then move the stone and head in."
He turns and addresses the group:
"We are taking a short rest, drink water if you haven't already. When we make entry Jolly will lead followed by Naivara. I am next, then Slem, Zubeki, Morfinnion and Zee will be rearguard.
If the short rest is uneventful Jolly and Vrak will move the stone.
Zubeki places his hand over his heart and hushes a quiet tone to cast mage armor upon himself. For a heartbeat, you could swear Zubeki's traveling clothes looked rigid and polished like fine armor, but at a second glance, he just looks a little more confident. "Careful now! We don't want an explosive feedback like last time we touched a mysterious stone."
With everything appearing to be set to go Vrak calls Jolly over. "Take a look, do you see anything that might harm us if we move this stone? If not then lets open this door."
Jolly and I will take a look and then move the stone if we find nothing.
Vrak and Jolly attempt to move the stone but it resists their best efforts.
"We must rest a moment" Vrak says, breathing a little heavy from the effort. "Slem, Morfinnion keep watch. Naivara, you seem strong, perhaps you can give it a try while we rest."
Jolly blinks owlishly at the plan; but, aside from a glance at the others, he offers no resistance against it. Instead, he'll step up without much hesitation to give the door another once over. Zee did just de-activate the glyph above it (as far as he knew), so things should be fine? "Oh don't worry so much, young Zubeki. Mistress Zee has already taken care of such." In spite of such confidence, he'll trace the same circle in the air as he did with zubeki. Though in place of a phrase, he grins as a new thought comes to mind. What starts off sounding like a bird whistling a tune becomes a little diddy sung in a lighter tone than even his usually soft voice.
"Ah~ *sniffle* Funny what gets stuck in your head when danger could lurk beyond a single corner." He coughs awkwardly. "No further traps, leader Vrak."He says as he steps aside with the others for the seat down and drink. Once the time comes to lend his strength, he almost eagerly jumps up to assist again, forgetting in his hurry to ask for strength from his goddess.

Seeing the stone still unmoved after drinking some water, she looks towards the others before moving forward attempting to move it along with Jolly. She bites her lip, using all of her strength she can muster at the moment.
Jolly hands are shaking by the second effort. But, seeing the job done this time, he looks to Naivara and gives her weak clap on her shoulder. "You hardly needed help at all." He grins brightly, and then turns to the others. If it still looked as if folk needed time to rest (and nothing doesn't immediately pop out of the pyramid at them), he'll find a spot back in line with the others, began rhythmically tapping the ground, and began chanting in Sylvan the beginnings of the ritual for Detect Poison and Disease. If able to complete it, he'll hold on to it for its full duration for at least part of the trek into the temple.
Otherwise(if not after), he'll look to Vrak for confirmation to proceed leading the way alongside Naivara. Before the darkness of the interior made things too difficult to see things by at least for the giant, he'll hold a copper piece against his holy symbol and state, "Let the spark of yore be rekindled."Almost immediately, the coin ignites into golden light that Jolly quickly tries to at least partially contain it in the lantern, hooded hanging off his back pack. With a bit of readjustment, he'll reposition it so that it hung off his belt instead, though his gait would be awkward while he readjusted to the change.
As the door slides open enough to fit through you peer down the hallway and it goes on for about seventy feet and then it turns to the left. It's very dark inside but Jolly's light source helps out. The floors are made of that same greenish looking stone that you noticed on the outside and the hallway is ten feet wide and sixteen feet tall. It is wide enough to fit two people side by side. Cobwebs or is it spiderwebs, crisscross the hallway all the way down to the end of the hall. There is an earthy aroma all around you.
You all notice a slight amber colored haze throughout the hallway and Jolly stops you before you enter the Pyramid.
Jolly says somewhat halting, "Hold... It's... Mahta... Poison... But a weak one. We should be fine for a time, though... though this one does not think we'll be resting in there... 'least it be the last thing we do."
Vrak moves to the entrance and peers inside with the aid of Jolly's light. "If you deem it safe to venture in with the poison in the air then we will proceed." Vrak reaches in and touches the webbing with a javelin to see how easily it moves or breaks apart. If it does not appear to be an entanglement issue he will motion Jolly forward. Vrak puts the javelin away and carries shield and sword.
"Remember the marching order, go slow, and alert us to anything that appears out of place."
As Vrak tests the webbing with the Javelin, Jolly will studied it and its reaction to the movement in attempt to figure out what type of spider might've left it.
Jolly flashes a toothy grin and says, "Very well, leader Vrak. Tippity toooe~ Nice and slowww~" With that and a light-hearted chuckle, he'll proceed inside, though largely stick to the right hand side as soon as the first bend comes into view. If nothing triggers his "danger" sense by the time they reach the bend, he'll take the time just before entering it to study the cross, and the two closest connecting space within range of his light.
You make your way through the cobwebs and come to the corner, As Jolly peers around it, he doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary. You look around the corner and it continues on for forty feet before it turns to the north. There is a passageway to the north ten feet away from you and a passageway to the south 30 feet away from you. Jolly looks towards Vrak and he motions to go north.
You take the northern passageway and come to a door twenty feet in. The door is made of Red Cedar wood from the jungle and it looks sturdy enough. There is a lock on the door that appears to be very rusty.
Vrak takes a careful look at the door to see if cobwebs are on it or if the dust on the ground looks like it had opened recently. If all looks undisturbed he will whisper to Jolly that they will leave the locked door behind them and continue west down the other passage as that area is still unknown.
Jolly looks to the door with some lingering trepidation in his gaze, only to dismiss the feeling with shrug before wordlessly moving onward to the west. Seeing another split none too far away, he'll motion to it before going up to the immediate corner, and peeking around the corner. Provided nothing grabs his immediate attention, but seeing the light only went so far, he'll look risk a glance back first to Vrak, motions to his eyes, and then over to Naivara.
Once she moves to take a look, he'll whisper, "What do your elven eyes see?"

Naivara looks at Jolly as he asks and slowly looks around, trying to see if she can spot any traps or anything of interest that she can tell Jolly, she is a bit tense as she does not know exactly what to expect if an enemy were to attack.

She bites her lip whispering to Jolly, "I don't see anything in this hall... but when we passed the other hall, the southern hall I believe, we haven't checked yet, I think I saw an altar in a room..."
As the group moves west down the passage away from the hallway with the door when they come to the next intersection with a passage that heads south he'll motion for them to stop and check south to see what can be seen. If Jolly and Naivara see nothing obvious then the group can head south down that passage.
Noticing nothing out of the ordinary in the ten foot hallway leading south you enter the room and the few torches that are on the wall spring to life bathing the room in a soft orange glow.
The room is thirty feet by thirty feet. What was once a lavish rug covering the floor is now a destroyed, piece of crap that isn't worth a copper piece.
There is an altar along the southern wall made out of a familiar looking green material. It has dark red stains on top and along the sides of it, as well as the ground around it.
On top of the altar is a ceremonial bowl made of solid gold. It has a murky black liquid in it that smells horrible. You also see a wavy six inch blade made of what looks like diamonds laying next to the bowl.
Hanging on the wall next to the altar us a green robe with serpentine symbols etched on it in a golden thread and it looks to be in good condition after all these years.
As entry is made into the room Vrak motions to Morfinnion.
"Watch the door as we search this room. We don't need anything creeping up on us while we check it out. Come to think of it, from now on if we enter a room that goes nowhere you watch the door behind us. "
With that said he scans around the room taking in what it has in it.
Zee enters the room and begins to smile. "Looks like we hit the jackpot. You know what that is?" She asks while pointing at the altar.
She walks over to it and begins inspecting it but being careful not to touch it. "This altar is made of solid jade. Do you realize how much this is worth? It probably weighs a ton though and we most likely won't be able to move it."
She looks at the bowl and knife, then peers at the robe.
"This is a Yuan-Ti pyramid for sure. You see these symbols" she points to the symbols on the robe. "That's Yuan-Ti writing. This looks to be the cultist temple where they made sacrifices. The cultists were the human followers of the Yuan-Ti. They resided on the first level of the pyramid. The higher up you went in the pyramid the purer the Yuan-Ti, and more powerful."
