When she reappears she is wielding a bright white and radiant glowing splinter, the size of a small dagger. "Essence of our Sacred Oak." the pixie says as she presents the piece of wood to Soma.

After nearly three days travel south west, you find a location, deep in the Darkwood where crags and stones pop out of the ground.
Entering the cavern, you are on high alert for what must be inside.
Deep inside the cavern you come to an opening and inside are glowing and shimmering crystals. But also a guardian, a suit of magical armor floats towards you, as if to defend this part of the cave.

You're right, the radiant part is not halved, so I might have to recalculate the last attack because it's so close.
Instead of half of 18 (9) from your first hit, it should have been half of 13 (6) plus 5, total 11 and not 9.
