Ember ponders a moment before answering, "I can order it to teleport back to a solid disk... IF it is still a solid disk. It will not take any extra magic to perform; plus it keeps the wildfire spirit 'alive' for the remainder of the hour it exists."
So saying, Ember will wait until the fiery fox form appears again and shouts for it to teleport to a safe disk.
"It is too bad it can only teleport 15 feet or I would suggest it take us one-at-a-time across... but, 15 feet is barely one disk to the next."
Muttering to themself and then giving a shrug as an answer to the muttering, Ember lifts off the hallway floor and flits over the the first disk and lands -- to see if it is still solid. If so, he will launch again to the next disk COUNTER clockwise... touching down with expectations of the disk -- perhaps being illusionary. Testing each disk -- the test being -- landing on each and waiting a moment.
IF, at any time, Ember feels like a disk is less than stable or suddenly drops out from under them, he will resume flight to hover in the 'no mist' air zone.
The third disc in the counter-clockwise direction is illusionary. If you couldn't fly, you would fall. You find that the last disc near the exit is also illusionary.
Ember and the others work out 15 feet of rope. He will then take the end and fly forward, bypassing the illusionary disk to see if it is 15 feet to the next solid disk. All in the hopes that there is enough for a person to be teleported past the bloody edge for a secure 'landing'.
IF the rope does not reach, Ember will call back for 'more rope' until it reaches at least two feet past the edge of the next solid disk and then call out to mark the new 'measure'. He will then fly back so they can measure how far it will be -- and see if it is jumpable for anyone.
The hallway widens into a cylinder shaped space with the top and bottom obscured by mist. You cannot see farther than 10 feet up or 10 feet down. There is a series of discs evenly spaced in a circle around tthe perimeter of the cylinder. Each disc is about 8 feet wide and about 4 feet apart.
Razzec asks Ember if the diagram he etches into the floor looks like what he was wanting to do to get everyone across. He suggests going quickly one at a time to make sure we can all make it without worrying about falling off the disks.
Ember looks at the scratchings and starts smiling and nodding. "Yes, one or two at a time -- the wildfire spirit fox can do the disk to disk to landing. It will take two teleports..."
He rubs his chin as he keeps stareing at the drawing, "Everyone else will need to stand back -- when the spirit teleports, it tends to blast the area with fire. Well done, Razzec!"
Ember will rise and give directions to the wildfire fox and watches as it leaps over to the first disk and waits for his 'passengers'.
Razzec stays where he was and says, "I'm ready to go across too. I'll guard the direction we're heading until everyone is over in case there's anything over there. And a lil fire never hurt anyone, well, at least me." And with that he lets out a big chuckle to himself.
Nico blinked as the wildfire spirit finished its teleports. He shook his head. "That one was rough. I'm not a fan of heights, so I'll definitely owe you an ale, Ember!" Wanting to distance himself from the pit, the bard quickly (but cautiously) headed down the passage.
Once everyone is across safely, Ember will make certain nothing has been left behind and then, flits across disk to disk until he can land safely on the other side with his fellow adventurers.
"Let us hope we do not run into more crazy rooms like that. We may not be so lucky next time."
Razzec looks down the hallway while checking it out and saying, "You don't suppose there's more illusionary spells over this area do you? I'm glad we had your lil friend Ember to help us over. I do not think I would have made those jumps without at least one misstep."

Anton peers over top of Ember as he investigates the door and turns to his companions. “Well, only one way to find out. Let’s see what is on the other side then.”Seeing no lock or trap he steps in front of Ember and forces the door open, ready for any threats.
You see a room 30 feet by 30 feet. There are black lines on the floor every 10 feet forming a 9 square grid.
Suspended from the ceiling by metal cables are silvery spheres about 2 feet across. One in the middle of each square. There are set at about head height.
On the other side of the room is a familiar metal door with the square shape in the middle.

Using the spirit to teleport and careful spacing, you manage to make your way across the cylinder room.
The passage continues for another 50 feet before turning left for 10 feet before a door.

"Is this a door door or a door trap or a door puzzle?" Ember asked as his companions all stood about.

"I really hope it is a door door and it takes us forward... or even outside. I do not wish to have to go back across those disks if we can help it."
The door has no lock or trap.
