"Alright, what's our plan from here?" Feliks asks. "We'll need to encourage the horses to go. We can either go with them through that break in the wall over there." He points out the collapsed section he sees to the southeast. "Then cut off from the horses to hide outside the walls. Or we go chase out the horses, then hide somewhere here as the bandits go after them. We should move quickly though. I can provide some help for keeping us out of sight."
"I suppose a little fire would get the horses moving."The young red-haired lady suggests innnocently, being more of an expert on fire than horses really. "I would personally prefer luring the raiders out into an ambush, I'm sure they will burn nicely for the atrocities they commited back in that hamlet and I would be surprised if that was their first time killing innocents." She continues, still seething with anger over what they did.
"If we're luring the raiders out, we need to go with the horses," Feliks points out to Valeria. "Fire though would spook the horses. Or we could sneak out there and get them moving ourselves." He shrugs. "I suppose fire lets us get into position better. You can manage that?"
"I think I should be able to find a vantage point where I can wreak some havoc." The young red-haired lady says, seeming eager to deal with the raiders. "Are you ready for some retribution?" She adds, looking around at the others.
The old wizard frowns at Valeria. "That is not what agreed on, Lady Flaemden. While I understand your desire for vengeance, we are severely unprepared for this encounter. We cannot jeopardize her Grace’s mission. We agreed to release the horses and take them away from the raiders."
The young red-haired lady simply groans and turns away. She certainly didn't feel unprepared and she was even a bit concerned about the old wizard claiming they were. "Just decide what we should do then and I'll keep my opinions to myself. I suggest you make that decision soon though or we will most likely have that encounter that we evidently are severely unprepared for." She says with a pout and her arms crossed over her chest.
"Don't pout," Feliks says quietly to Valeria. A bit louder he says, "We should indeed not take too many risks. Our mission is more important than just these bandits." He looks at the horses, trying to give his best guess if setting a fire would press the horses to make for that break in the wall. (Animal Handling: 20)
If the horses do seem like to go out on their own, he suggests they all go first through the wall then set the fire. If not, then he suggests the group go into the pen to chase out the horses and he would try to guide them to where they want them to go.
Alaric has kept his eyes on the doors (and windows) of the main keep within which they expect the bandits to be hiding. As the others go back and forth, he finds himself agreeing with his fiery friend. "Valeria might be overeager, but she isn't wrong. Getting rid of their horses will cut their legs out from under them for a time, but they won't be stuck here. If any of them come out...We should cut them down."
As you debate amongst yourselves, more of the horses begin to wander out of the open gate. They begin to stray further and further from the pen, in search of yet more grass to munch on.
Felik's, you would know that horses would typically run from fire. They can be guided towards it if mounted, but their first instinct is to run.
"Ok. Valeria, hopefully your fire will push the horses out. I can help cloak us and we can follow after them and the find a spot for ambush." Feliks is ready as soon as the others are ready to go. He prepares to cast his spell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Not hearing any objections, the red-haired young lady nods and decides to once more call upon Cruentus from his pocket-plane lair, asking him to sneak over to the horses and create some fiery mayhem before going back to rest again.
Kyrian braces himself as Valeria sends out Cruentus, watching the horses with a mix of apprehension and...excitement? He lets out a quiet, harsh breath, angry with himself that the prospect of a fight could be even slightly appealing. His blood runs hot, and his heart beats loudly in his ears. His left hand finds its way to the opening of his scabbard, where he taps a rhythm on it.

Once Cruentus moves into position with the horses, Feliks casts Pass without Trace. He will then move out to make for the gap in the wall using as much cover as he can.
