Morpetor stays in the shadows and fires a firebolt at the larger of the three. 

Attack 9. Damage 8

Gramgran 

Pointing at each of the ruffians she says, “You should be ashamed of yourselves! This behavior is unacceptable!” Gramgran will cast bane on all three of them. (DC 13 charisma S.T.)

Yuri's sword takes a bite into the ruffians arm. He grabs his arm and screams out as blood starts to flow. Morpetor launches a firebolt toward the large ruffian. Ruffian 3 sees the magic build and is able to move out of the way of the flame. 

(OOC So ruffians 1&2 have to roll a d4 each time they attack or do a S.T. and subtract that from the total. 3 made the save so he doesn’t)

Kim and Ren are up

As the 2nd Ruffian comes at Kim, she swiftly dodges his first attack, but did not expect the second one allowing him to cut her. After wincing in pain and jumping back a few feet she prepares her self and cast a Ray of Frost at him.

Attack: 8 Damage: 8

A second pain wave washes over Kim as she launches her attack, causing her to aim the spell wide narrowly missing the ruffian.

"Damn!"

Kimberly makes a note to herself to start pain training at the next rest point.

(OOC: Just checked on Ren and he hasn't logged in since the end of October. Everyone should level up to 3 at this point. I may attempt to find another player to add to the game if you guys are cool with that. Let me know what you think.)

Ren begins to rage after the attack. Ren is able to push the large ruffian back a few steps. The other ruffians take notice of the barbaric screams and turn to see Ren in a rage state. They quickly agree Ren needs taken care of rather quickly. Ren yell to you all, "get out of here!" The ruffians charge and dog pile Ren near the entrance. You all gather your thoughts quickly make your way out through the secret door. You see as Ren struggles. One of the ruffians fall to Ren's side, his intestines spill out onto the cold stone floor. One down, two to go............

(AFTER HALF AN HOUR OF MESSING WITH THIS I'M FINALLY ABLE TO ADD THE MAP!!!!)

You are able to block the door behind you by driving a piton between the door and the wall. You hurry down the tunnel which opens into an open chamber. A cold breeze fills this large natural cavern, carrying with it the faint scent of decaying flesh. A crevasse divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched wooden bridges span the chasm. 

All four of you are currently standing on the west side of the chasm near the south bridge. 

Morpetor: A voice enters your mind as you four stand together.

OOC - I’m good with adding another player or two.

Yeah for sure!

1s on HP rolls for leveling up can be rerolled. There’s an option on the roller to allow the refills. Just use set it that way.

OOC Yuri is now a battle master, get ready to see some superiority die!

Barrelling through the door, Yuri's last sight of Ren is of the barbarian in full flow. Axes swinging and covered in the blood of his enemies.

Shaking himself from his reminiscing, he takes a look at his surroundings, sheathing his sword. Looking at his remaining companions he asks, "Are we all alright? Should we keep moving?"

Perception - 17

The voice continues in Morpetor's head.

"If we dont keep moving then anything that happens to Ren is a waste. Im sure he can handle it or he wouldn't have took them head on. Plus he helped us keep somewhat of surprise. Reinforcements cannot know where we are since the only ones who saw us were distracted by Ren. Let's trust our friend and keep moving."

Kim showed confidence in her speech, knowing what she said is true, but also keeping back the reality that could happen. Her military training may have taught her that sometimes sacrificing one was for the betterment of the whole,  but she doubted the others would be able to accept it if they had time to dwell on that idea. Kimberly never liked the principle of it either. All she can try to do is push the group on and take the guilt herself, instead of letting it spread to the others.

Morpetor grabs his head and closes his eyes, “Do you hear that? There is some sorcery about here. Be on your guard!”

OOC - Can Morpetor learn anything about this voice?

Morpetor, you believe this is a telepathy spell, but you're unsure where it's coming from. The voice continues in your head as you look around.

Yuri will give Morpetor a quizzical look, "There's no voices here except our own."

Approaching, Yuri holds his hands in front of him, showing them empty. "Are you alright my friend?"
