Kulloda listens carefully to Deniz's questions and nods.
"All the heads," Kulloda decides when asked about how many. They he looks puzzled for a moment. "Kulloda fights, kills, sometimes steals, but Kulloda not liar. Kulloda say bandit head is bandit head then it's bandit head."
He then looks at the sack, and then the barrel that Grimrin was hiding in. He holds the sack up next to Grimrin to compare the size.
"Lots of heads fit in barrel."
Kulloda unsheathes his sword and gets ready. He draws a circle in the dirt using the heel of his boot.
"Circle around camp," Kulloda says gesturing to the others. Then to Togar he points up in the air. "Then Kulloda go into camp. Bandits run out at Kulloda. Big distraction. Everyone kill them from behind and above."
Myrth maintains his invisibility throughout and Anachain says little more than she has "eyes everywhere" in order to maintain a certain level of mystery. The observant may notice her look in a specific direction (where nothing is to be seen) on occasion when she checks in with the imp, or hear the occasional flapping of a wing or see a bending of a branch under an invisible weight, but just how observant they would need be? *shrug*
"Is there no crime ever committed by your people? No deception or ruse used?" Anachain asks Deniz, unbelieving. "Is everyone totally honest and forthright at all times and acting only for the good of everyone?"
But mostly on the walk to the bandit hideout, excepting having to give directions, Anachain spends the bulk of her attention on their newest "friend" the little halfling. Grimrim seems the unlikeliest of joiners and she is unsure if she trusts him yet to be a faithful companion...
Grimrin walks brisquely, trying to keep up on his short little legs. With every distant snap of a twig or loud birdcall, he jumps a little, and then reaches for his dagger as an afterthought. Each time the dagger is not his first response, he looks disappointed with himself. He also does his best to keep his distance from Kulloda. Well... to keep his distance from everyone. Darting side to side, he occasionally struggles not to get caught up underfoot.
As the group approaches the hideout, Grimrin pauses to string his bow and sling it over his shoulder. Then he pulls out two daggers and twirls them deftly enough before shoving them back into their sheathes. "I could creep up a bit closer and take up a position in one of those trees. Would be a good vantage for picking off bandits as the rush Kulloda, and I could also keep an eye out for reinforcements trying to catch us unaware from behind."
Togar nods when Kulloda outlines his plan, his mage armor is still in place, he readies himself to take flight. “I will approach from above, I’ll wait to see them emerge and then either put them to sleep or pick them off one by one. Signal in some way if you see them escape or if you need me..”. When all is said and done, Togar takes to the skies, looking to ascend to 100-120 feet or so above the encampment, approaching from behind it.
"Hurry along now," Anachain says to Grimrin, or "Don't dawdle," or "Keep up!" She tries to be kind about it but the little one seems almost as if he is trying to stay behind. That's all well enough, she supposes. So long as he's not part of the bandits AND he leaves their cart and horses alone. She still didn't trust these two new additions but she figured time would tell soon enough...
She trusted the invisible Myrth to keep her on the right path to the hideout, more or less... But she definitely kept an eye out of her own for tracks and signs of prior passage. Myrth is a great help but surely not infallible. And definitely not a tracker by trade. When they did get close she instructed the imp to fly around to the back of the camp or whatever setup the bandits had, mainly to watch out for runners and the like but also to try to keep him out of the lines of combat. Being invisible is great to keep from being targeted... but can be detrimental to stray arrows and the like.
"We could offer to let them surrender," she suggests to Kulloda before they actually come upon the hideout. "The mayor and townfolk may enjoy questioning some prisoners. A head is a head even if still attached to a living body..." She doesn't want to press the bloodthirsty one too much on the issue, however. She's not sure she would enjoy his response.
As Togar soars from above, Grimrin finds a tree to secure himself in and Mother Anachain, Kulloda and Deniz find their way around the crude camp that they have come upon. Though Kulloda and Mother Anachain aren't the stealthy of characters, the bandit that ran back to the camp is too busy telling the story to a couple of other folk that are gathered by the fire. You can overhear a few words, seems to be describing you and the fact that no other bandit has returned can't be good.
There are two larger tents in the area, could sleep up to four each, three smaller tents and one open tent that would be most likely used for cooking. But by the smell of it, not used very well. At the moment, you see three people by the fire in the center of the small clearing.
The area around is pretty dense of forest, you hear the typical sounds of birds, critters and such.. Togar almost runs into a raptor on his way up.
Togar descends 10 feet, then casts sleep on the central group of three bandits. With the rest of his movement, he flies behind a tree, staying out of sight.
Sleep on the group of 3 bandits : 32 hit points of sleep, headed their way…
As the group approaches, Anachain tell them "I'm changing appearances, hopefully it'll deter them from attacking me... Don't be alarmed," and with that she magically transforms her appearance to that of the female bandit captain. Before she was slain. She considers trying to go in alone and convince the bandits to surrender as if she was indeed their compatriot but she sees a battle lust in Kulloda's eye and she's not confident in her ability to pull off the dead woman's voice or mannerisms to make the act convincing.
"Ok, let's do this I guess," she says once all preparations are complete. She herself prepares an Eldritch Blast but holds off triggering it until Kulloda picks a target and attacks, aiming at the same target.
As Anachain changes her appearance and readies her attack, Togar casts his spell upon those around the fire. The two older bandits who were relaxed sitting around the fire, but completely enthralled with the bandit's story, immediately topple over and fall asleep. The one that came from the battle with you all starts looking around, wide eyed and panicked. He holds his scimitar out, gripped tightly, "Who...who's out there?" he calls in a trembling voice.
The arrow flies true and pierces the frightened bandit. He stumbles as it enters at the base of his neck, but he stays upright, eyes wide and looking around towards the trees to see where the arrow came from.
The two bandits next to him continue to snore as if nothing was going on around them.
Kulloda charges forward into the clearing, his heightened emotions sweeping him away as he draws his sword. He leaps in to his attack with out regard for his own safety, attacking the injured bandit recklessly.
But he's so reckless that he ends up stepping on the bandit's gear and his blow looks like it's going very wide.
(Bonus - Rage; Action - Godsbane - Reckless Attack - (1, 3 + 8) = 11 to hit for (12+2+4)=18 magical slashing)
As Kulloda comes charging in, his attacks do indeed go wide as he almost burns his feet on the fire. Mother Anachain's held action goes off after seeing who Kulloda is trying to attack and finishes off the bandit, who falls in a heap next to the sleeping ones.
Another one from what appears to be an open tent cries out in surprise as he sees his friend cut down by the fire. He shrieks again and ducks behind the canvas of the tent, dodging as he does.
Even though he was more prepared for it this time, Deniz is still startled by the sudden ferocity of Kulloda's attack. The bandits appear frightened and would possibly surrender without a fight, but it seems the gladiator is determined to collect his quota of heads. Wanting to help apprehend the bandits, but preferably without the bloodshed, the elf slips into the camp from his designated flank and attempts to drop the nearest tent, hoping to trap any bandits inside.
[If Deniz is close enough to the open tent that the bandit is hiding/dodging in, then he would start there. Otherwise any of the larger tents is fine.]
[Not sure how many 'actions' it would take to drop a tent, but presumably dislodging one major pole would be sufficient to get the canvas to fall.]

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
The elf cuts one of the main ropes that is tying down the open tent and a large portion of it falls. You hear pots and pans and cans in disarray as that side collapses. The man that was hiding there is now under the canvas he was hiding behind.
Anachain calls out loudly "Everyone surrender and come out with your hands out and nobody else need die today!" and prepares but holds another use of Eldritch Blast - The trigger to release the held action being any non-group member performing a hostile action...
Togar flies toward the camp now, dashing through the air with his flight to get close and aiming to land. He watches from above as he is moving in for any other movement, he sees the tent collapse around someone in the middle. He looks satisfied at the sight of the two snoozing bandits.

Deniz asks Kulloda why he does not adhere to the human custom, that Deniz has recently learned about, of speaking falsely in order to gain advantage.

Kulloda laughs when Deniz asks why he doesn't speak falsely.
"How get advantage in ring?" Kulloda asks. He holds up his sword. "Tell other gladiator this not sword not going to help Kulloda."
He laughs again at Deniz.
"You funny elf, even if not eaten by lizard" Kulloda says.
He looks where Anachain has led them.
"Bandits there?"

“If surrender they keep heads,” Kulloda says. He pauses a moment, thinking, then adds. “If cause trouble after they lose heads.”
Kulloda nods once but the pauses once more. “Hard to fit body and head in barrels. Tie to cart instead and make walk back.”

An arrow streaks out from the trees where Grimrin is hiding, aiming to take out the lone standing bandit in the neck.
