Kulloda swings his blade around in a sweeping arc as the first darkling approaches head on. When the attacker's blade fails to connect, Kulloda slashes hard.
(Reaction - Readied Attack - Godsbane 17 to hit for 10 slashing)
As he does, he feels the stab of a blade into his legs from behind, driving his fragile hold on his anger over the edge, pushing his rage to the surface.
(Initiative if needed - 6).
He then slashes down even harder on the one attacking him from behind, adjusting his position to allow he and Anachain to fight back to back.
(Bonus Action - Rage; Action - Godsbane - 25 to hit for 20 slashing including 2 rage and 2 necrotic from divine fury).
On the retrieval of his sword, he glances around the clearing looking for the other attackers who much be the ones throwing weapons (Perception: 8)
"Whoa now!" Anachain calls out even as she unleashes an Eldritch Blast at the first Darkling she sees attack Deniz.
Eldritch Blast: 17to hit for 5 damage
As Kulloda bursts into action swinging and stabbing and doing all the sword stuff at those attacking him and her, Anachain does he best to stay out of his way, at his back, but still focus on defending Deniz since he cannot defend himself. She blasts again, again at the Darkling south of Deniz...
Eldritch Blast: 19to hit for 2force damage...
Anachain then curses under her breath for having forgotten the wand she is carrying... though maybe it was best to not use it quite yet anyway.
