"That was a Boggle."Jeanneux informs the others, the gnome casually balancing a crossbow bolt on her fingertip. "Just little pranksters from the Feywild."
"Yeah, but that means there's a leak somewhere upstairs that it squeezed through."Ragella comments, looking at the ceiling. "I may need to call a 'plumber'." She then looks to Despair. "And don't think I didn't hear your playing with your flintlocks up there. That's two strikes, kid. One more and you're barred."
Turning his attention to the cloaked elf, "Do? Books. I love books. Especially old ones. Very, very, old books. Mostly, I work in a library, but recently, I got the itch to go looking for as yet undiscovered books. Learn forgotten lore. Forgotten arcana." Holding out a hand, "Filius Rivenstone."
Filius turns to include Ragella in the conversation, "Very recently, mind you. As yet, I haven't really started my, shall we say, adventures. I just today stepped out on my journey, when, all of a sudden, I find myself in a tavern, speaking to an intriguing-looking elf, and a lovely barmaid." Turning toward the sound of another greeting, this time from a high elf with fascinating-looking goggles on his hat, and with a friendly nod, "hello to you as well, kind Sir!"
"Hi!" Despair takes off his goggles from his hat and shines them, then puts them back. He has a piece of copper wire, in which he mutters angrily, then puts away. "So, a Boggle. Never heard of them. From the Feywild, you said?"

Onyx is walking down the stairs and as he reaches the bottom landing the front door opens as a tall wood elf carrying a quarterstaff walks into the tavern and they bump into each other.
"Oh pardon me fella bars over there" he drunkenly points to Raggy and the group from upstairs "Hey wait a minute don't I know you from somewhere?"
"Onyx ya drunk bastard!!!! look atcha still up to the same nonsense I see. whats it been 30-40 years since we've seen each other. He gives a hearty laugh as they sit.
"Ha Fiven so when did the monastery let you out? wait you didn't get kicked out of there did ya?" He nudges Fiven as he sits at the bar with his old friend.

Sylvan Imperial Ruby Ale in hand, Filius places a gold piece on the bar and heads to the empty table by the fireplace, that he spied on his way in, and sits down, pulling his leather satchel off his shoulder. He pulls out two books, one small but dusty, the other a bit larger and still smelling of new leather, and his quill and ink, then sets the satchel next to him on the bench. Taking a sip of his ale, A fine Ale, this is. I'll definitely have to remember this place.
He opens the old book to a certain page, and the new one to the first blank page, then dips his quill to begin the delicate work of copying the contents of the old book's page.
Ellayne sighs when she hears about the creature, which is thankful that it isn't something wild beast. As she watches the event from the group, a giggle escapes from her lips that is hidden by her hand. Then she asks curiously to the newcomer. "What are you doing with those books?"

Erias comes back down the staircase, shield still in hand. He breathes a sigh of relief, noting that the bar seems pretty much back to normal, puts his shield away, and orders another drink.
Aedin picks the dagger out of the wall and heads back downstairs to his bar stool. "I hope I didn't cause any trouble, that purple imp seemed to be getting a little out of hand...I wouldn't mind another whisky." He says with a smile.
Onyx and Fiven sit at the bar a converse about Fivens stay at the monastery and his journey he is on now.
"I'm not going to be able to stay long, I've actually been here before a couple days ago. I have a room upstairs. I'll be staying the night and leaving again in the morning, have a little bit of business to attend to." Fiven explains to Onyx
"Oh well, I've been here a couple of hours enough to do some damage" He gestures towards his drink hinting to his drunkenness "Oh there is this guy over here thought he could steal from me. But don't worry I took care of it."
"Did you take his hand like the rest?" Fiven eyes get a little larger as he fears his friend has done something stupid
"Oh no, outta respect for Ms. Raggy over here I let her deal with it. I don't think it's worth any more trouble." Onyx calmly responds
"Good because I know how you get when you drink old friend" Fiven gives Onyx a slight punch in the arm

"Boggles are just little tricksters from the Feywild."Jeanneux explains to anyone who cares. "Perfectly harmless, just a little annoying, especially because of their variable oil they secrete."
"Oh, cheers hun." Ragella takes the small box from Nia. She places it on the bar and opens it, retrieving what appears to be a pouch of salt. "A quick sprinkle of this and that troll blood should be out of the rug it decided to bleed on."
