The Frog Prince's lance slams into Cassian's side, the force of the blow making him stagger but not fall. Pain radiates from the impact, but he manages to maintain concentration on his Shield of Faith.
Cassian raises his longsword, the blade catching the faint light filtering through the murky swamp air. "Y-you're right," he says, his voice firm despite the pain, "I'm a paladin."
With a swift step forward, Cassian swings his longsword at the giant toad, aiming to sever the bond between the Frog Prince and his grotesque steed. The blade connects with the toad’s thick hide, and as it strikes, the divine energy surges through the creature, unleashing a burst of radiant light.
Action: Longsword to hit 19, damage 3 slashing + 9 radiant from Divine Smite and sap
2nd Action (carried over from last round): Longsword to hit 12, damage 6
As the radiant energy of his Divine Smite surges through the giant toad, Cassian hears a sharp cry from Navrine's direction. He glances over just in time to see a cockatrice lunging at her. Without hesitation, Cassian pivots, raising his shield in a swift, practiced motion just in time to block the attack.
Navrine strikes out at the Cockatric C1 with a sound kick followed up with an unarmed “flurry of blows” to the Cockatrice trying desperately to get it away from her.
Action: unarmed strike to hit 12, if it hits 8 points of bludgeoning damage. Bonus Action: spend 1 Focus point “Flurry of Blows” to hit first strike 13 to hit, 6 points of bludgeoning damage. second strike 10 to hit, 8 points of bludgeoning damage.
Chromir will laugh at the Bullywug's attempt to hit him, and then spins recklessly, his axe cleaving straight through one bullywug (B4, he is right handed so an anti-clockwise spin feels easier) before catching the second (B3) but lacking the momentum having gone through one of the bullywugs to do as much damge.
Doc sees Chromir is handling himself well, but the others might be in trouble, he decides to try and get an enemy to him. He cast command on the giant toad
"Approach!" he belows calling upon the gods to fullfill this wish.

Chromir’s axe flashed through the air in a deadly arc, felling two more bogmen in quick succession. The last remaining bullywug, its courage wavering, thrust its spear into Chromir’s thigh. The blade sank deep, but the barbarian, lost in the throes of his primal rage, seemed utterly unaffected.
On the other side of the battlefield, Cassian faced the Frog Prince and his hulking giant toad. With a powerful divine smite, the paladin drove her blade deep into the toad’s flank. The beast let out a gurgling croak before collapsing beneath its master.
The Frog Prince let out an enraged bellow, his bulbous throat swelling as he dismounted, shrieking.
"YOU DIE NOW!" The Frog Prince lunged at Cassian with his lance, but the paladin was protected by his Shield of Faith.
Nearby, Doc raised his hand and uttered a single, commanding word. Magic laced his voice as he compelled the Frog Prince to obey. The bullywug leader’s bulbous eyes glazed over, his movements stuttering as the enchantment took hold. Without a word, he turned and began to hop closer to Doc, compelled to obey the cleric’s will.
Meanwhile, Navrine battled fiercely against the cockatrice, its razor-sharp beak snapping at the monk. Navrine’s fists and feet connected with bone-crunching force, but the monstrosity seemed driven by a savage hunger. The lizardfolk handler fought beside her, struggling to interpose himself between the cockatrice and its prey. He pushed at the small beast, attempting to separate the two ... but it was no use.
The cockatrice lunged forward, its beak sinking into Navrine’s flesh. A cold, creeping sensation spread through her arm as the petrifying magic began to take hold.
Meanwhile, the trembling that had begun under the cattails grew in intensity. What had once been a mild tremor, was now a violent spasm of the very earth beneath the center of the marsh! Anyone standing in the cattails would be hard pressed to stay on their feet.
In the cattail forest, something was happening under the earth ... something quite large ... something quite violent.

Chromir will swing his axe at the last remaining one near him, but in his recklessness he fails to take into account how fast this bog man is and misses (12 to hit including Bless and reckless attack). He doesn't care about the heaving ground while he is fighting a foe, paying it no mind and staying where he is.
Chromir swung his axe but the bogman ducked under the blow with a guttural croak, evading the deadly strike. Seizing the opening the reckless barbarian provided, the bullywug sank its jagged spear into the goliath’s midsection and lunged forward to bite him, its sharp teeth tearing into Chromir’s flesh. Blood flowed freely, but the barbarian, lost in his rage, barely registered the pain.
Across the battlefield, Cassian unleashed a radiant smite with his longsword that struck the Frog Prince with divine force. The bullywug staggered, its regal garb now scorched and torn. Yet before it could retaliate, the compulsion spell from Doc took hold. Its glazed-over eyes turned toward the cleric, and it began hopping obediently away from Cassian, croaking angrily as it moved toward its new target.
It leapt atop the small hillock where the dwarf had been waiting ... and the frog prince was met with a wallop from Doc's warhammer!
Back to the north, Navrine’s fists and feet became a blur as she delivered precise, devastating blows to the cockatrice. With a final, sickening crunch, the creature crumpled, lifeless, into the muck.
A hiss of outrage, and a string of draconic sounding curse words erupted from its lizardfolk handler beside her. Its charge slain, and overcome with grief, it turned his fury on the monk, and bit her!
Nearby, Stone Feather stood amidst the chaos, his focus unbroken ... the shaman kept his attention focused on the center of the cattail forest.
He had no time to chastise his kin, to remind him that these adventurers were not the enemy, he thought only of the growing threat in the cattail forest. Chanting in guttural draconic tones, the shaman traced intricate runes into the muck at his feet with his staff. Mists rose throughout the swamp as his spell took shape, and moments later coalesced into four enormous crocodiles. Their yellow eyes glinted with primal intent, but they did not move toward the heroes. Instead, they were assembled in a half circle around — and kept their attention on — the center of the marsh.
The cattail forest in the center of the marsh trembled violently, reeds parting as the ground itself split open with a thunderous rending sound. From the depths of the muck beneath the cattail forest, a hulking Shambling Mound emerged! It climbed up, towering over the remaining vegetation, its form dripping with muck and slime. The creature loomed, its massive appendages waving menacingly as it let out a guttural roar. It was an otherworldly, inhuman sound that reverberated across the battlefield, promising destruction.
For a moment, all eyes turned toward the monstrosity.
The Frog Prince — fighting through his magical compulsion — broke the silence and erupted in a terrible, croaking fit of laughter.
"YES! YES!" It croaked. "KILL THEM ALL! FROG PRINCE COMMANDS IT"

Cassian feels a pang of sorrow, but knows Navrine is right—they don’t have time to argue, not with the massive monstrosity bearing down on them.
His focus shifts to the remaining cockatrice. If they’re to have any chance of regrouping and focusing their efforts on the larger threat, this creature needs to be dealt with quickly.
Action: Longsword to hit 13, damage 10
Bonus Action: Drink Antitoxin to get Advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the Poisoned condition for 1 hour.
The lizardfolk handler is currently hostile (and also does not understand common). Due to these complicating factors, the Influence action using Charisma (Persuasion) can be made, but at a disadvantage.
Navrine recoils from the bite “Hey! Why did you bite me? I had no choice but that evil little monstrosity was trying to kill me!” Realizing that the lizard guy has no clue what she or Cassian are saying Navrine takes a dodge action whispers to Cassian“Cassian, we don't have time for this. I’m just going to try to knock this guy out.”Navrine uses her last focus point and does flurry of blows, in a non-lethal way, hoping for the best and whispering "Ilmater forgive me."
Action: Dodge. Bonus Action: Flurry of blows: 14 to hit if it hits 8 points of non-lethal bludgeoning damage. 16 to hit, if it hits 7 points of non-lethal bludgeoning damage.
Chromir sees a larger challenger appear, and gests exited for a greater battle, but in his excitement and haste to finish the bog man off before heading over to the mound, he misses horribly (Not even bothering to roll bless as it won't help. Rolled a 1 and a 4 for advantage). He hopes that he will get the change to fight the mound before others deal with it, but he stays where he is for now to finish this bog man off
Doc has the frog prince now in front of him and stays focussed on that target, so he hits it with another warhammer attack
to hit: 18 for 4 bludgeoning damage.

Chromir and the sole remaining bogman continued to exchange blows. The barbarian missed, and the bullywug retaliated, its spear plunging into the barbarian's side and its sharp teeth sank into his arm.
Nearby, Navrine and Cassian — each in their own way — attempted to reason with the enraged lizardfolk handler. Cassian’s words, spoken with the authority of a paladin, fell on deaf ears, the lizardman too engaged with his opponent to listen. Navrine, however, let her fists do the talking. With a precise strike, she drove her knuckles into the lizardman’s chest, forcing a pained hiss from his lips. Looking over its shoulder at the shambling mound looming behind him, the lizardman fled!
On the far hillock, Stone Feather descended from his perch upon the hillock. A loud, rumbling growl emitted from the lizardman as his form began to change. His body contorted and stretched, shifting into the hulking frame of a massive crocodile. His headdress and staff fell forgotten into the muck as his new form slithered toward the Shambling Mound, jaws agape and tail sweeping behind him.
The four summoned crocodiles closed in on the towering mass of vegetation, their powerful jaws snapping and tearing into its muck-covered body. The Shambling Mound responded with a guttural, otherworldly roar, thrashing its massive tendrils in every direction as it struggled to fend off the relentless reptilian assault.
To the south, the Frog Prince faced Doc one-on-one. The dwarven cleric swung his warhammer into the Frog Prince's midsection and Doc felt bones crunch.
"SWAMP IS NOT DWARF'S HOME! YOU, INVADER!" It bellowed, blood upon its slimy lips. The ensuing spear attack missed, but the Frog Prince was able to bite the cleric.

-The hillocks are 10' tall and will require 10' of climbing/jumping to get down.
-All vegetation and water on the lower level counts as difficult terrain.
-The are in the middle (cattails) is heavily obscured, but the shambling mound, a large creature, is tall enough to see/target over the cattails.
I had no choice but that evil little monstrosity was trying to kill me!” Realizing that the lizard guy has no clue what she or Cassian are saying Navrine takes a dodge action whispers to Cassian “Cassian, we don't have time for this. I’m just going to try to knock this guy out.” Navrine uses her last focus point and does flurry of blows, in a non-lethal way, hoping for the best and whispering "Ilmater forgive me."

He hopes that he will get the change to fight the mound before others deal with it, but he stays where he is for now to finish this bog man off
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

-All vegetation and water on the lower level counts as difficult terrain.
-Enough large creatures have trampled through the area in the middle (cattails), it is still difficult terrain, but that area is no longer heavily obscured.
