You are still in the gargoyles lair and there are 3 doors to exit. To the east the door you came in. Then there is a large double door south and a single man sized door in the southeast corner.
Therkis speaks up. “I think we should open both of the remaining doors and at least look at what is beyond”
A smart idea, we should have 2 people at each door as well, just in case there are any enemies inside. Orjon say's as he walks up to the double doors. (he will open the door when everyone is in place)
Leif pulls out his mirror of the past and focuses on the glyph message hoping to glimpse past interpretations…

Damned unpredictable device, still… Leif renews his gaze of two minds and one with the shadows keeping to a dim corner.
Dex Save: 19 Aelar on the opposite side of the room turns around as Therkis give a shout in alarm as he notices the rune floor. Looking down Aelar sees the edge of the rune just under his feet. Completely by instinct, Aelar jumps off the rune and presses himself against the wall, nearly missing the waves of energy emanating from the floor and ceiling.
(OOC: Let me know if a successful save is 0 or half damage)
Therkis nods in acknowledgment that he heard Aelor’s warning. The rogue eyes the door across the room and feeling a wave of foolish bravery, proceeds with the plan that is forming in his head.
Therkis checks his belongings and makes sure they are secure. Then he breathes a sigh of nervousness and activates his SLIPPERS OF SPIDER CLIMBING. He walks up the safe side of the wall next to the door they are gathered around and proceeds to walk along the walls to the door on the other side.
I made 3 PERCEPTION rolls for each of the 3 walls that I will be walking on. In order, I roll a 2 (moved to a 10 due to RELIABLE TALENT) for a total of 19. Then I rolled an 11 for a total of 20. Then I rolled a 7 (moved to a 10 due to RELIABLE TALENT) for a total of 19. I will be searching for traps and secret doors on each of the walls.
When (if) I get to the door on the other side, I will pause for hear the consequences of my actions.
oh my. never mind i suppose the room is dangerous. damn magic, never was good at that. noticing the rune and making sure not to step into the room, orjon tries examining the rune. first he checks if it even is still there, and if it is he tries sensing if there is any magic left in it to get a sense that if they step on it again, whether or not it will activate again or stay dormant.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Round 1
The bolt of energy starts to charge under Aelar but he dives aside just in time.
Therkis searches the walls (normally would only allow 1 check per round but you didn't know initiative was to be had so I'm allowing all 3) not seeing danger (all 3 walls appear normal no traps or secrets) he moves along the walls like spiderman to the door.
Orjon bends over and gets a closer look at the rune but can't make since of it
Leif on the other hand sees the patter and knows it to be a spell that will continue to cast bolts of energy randomly every round while you are in the room.
End of round 1
Round 2 While bent over looking at the floor. Orjon a gold disk starts to appear. Make a DC 18 Dex save or 3 magic damage
Round 2 action: Aelar wants to check the floor to see if it’s possible to disrupt the rune (break the tile/floor so the rune isn’t complete). Not sure what to roll for this. OOC - I don’t think Orjon is within 10ft of me (other side of the room?) so he doesn’t get my +5 to saving throws.

Orjon enters back into the room.

Therkis draws his sword and presses his back to the wall next to the doors and performs the action READY.
Orjon swings open the door, making sure this time to check the ceiling as well.
