Ian quickly attunes with his daggers giving thanks to Bahamut whose shield they quest for. 

Hoping down from his horse, he says to Thagakh don’t let the wolves free while I scout ahead to take a look from the trees.

Tyrus hangs back from Ian, keeping his clanky armor from giving the ranger away. He draws Talon, prepared to answer any call.

As Ian works his way forward through the woods, he has to walk almost a mile before he can see much.  About 1/2 mile ahead he can see what looks to be the alternate route.  The burning items are what is left of a wagon that had been turned over.  Their are a couple of burned bodies that look small enough to be elven men or human women.  There are no supplies left but you can see tracks leading onward towards the bridge.  The bridge is beyond your sight from where you are now.  There is a medium grove of trees and bushes that block your view as the road curves around them.  The rest of the party has move close enough to see Ian wave them forward to the wagon.

Conalt moves gingerly toward the cart. He looks around for tracks or any other sign of recent activity in the area.

Conalt happens to not notice a patch of leaves as he approaches the cart.  Everyone in the group cringes as the loud sounds come from his approach.

Ras will also step into the woods and conceal himself, as you see his cloak change to a primitive camo print

Thagakh doesn't attempt to move quietly as he runs with his clanky armor to where the loud sound came from.

Ian continues to scout ahead of the party passing the wagon farther down the road.  If he makes it to the alternative road, he continues only that far.

Perception check if you are looking for something.  Stealth check if you are being sneaky.  Othwise just say you are doing it.

As Ian gets to the road all he can detect are the foot and animal prints leading towards the bridge.  Another small grove of trees and about 3/4 a mile separate the black road from the bridge.  Though you can not see anything up ahead, you also notice that it is very quiet especially for noontime.

Ian can tell that their were horses and some other animals but he is struggling telling anything else.
