If Ian continues after the Orc his mount can make up 10 feet a round.  He would catch the Orc in 10 rounds or a half mile away.

Feeling my Goliath blood flow, I continue to chase the Largest Orc hoping for the trophy.

As the group watches Ian chase the Orc, they are able to find several adventuring supplies.  The armor and weapons from the dispatched Orcs.  Within the only tent (most likely the Large Orc’s tent) is a medium size chest.  The chest is unlocked and contains: a small gold bracelet, a black velvet mask with silver thread, a copper chalice with silver filigree, a wand, 1800 copper pieces and 1700 silver pieces.

Racing towards the Orc, Ian will shoot at the Orc and his hyena. The first two at the Orc and a horde breaker at the hyena.(at disadvantage due to riding)

Orc arrow Attack: 24 Damage: 9

Orc second arrow Attack: 20 Damage: 15

Hyena arrow Attack: 14 Damage: 12

Despite the unlikely odds, all three arrows from Ian find their mark.  In response the Large Orc dismounts the Hyena and sends it to attack Ian and his horse.  The Large Orc continues his retreat during the battle.  Ian has Initiative over the charging Hyena.

To Arafiel: do you have all of the materials for that many castings and will you expend 4 spell slots?

materials depends how we run this  - i probably do not have the pearls as i didnt specifically buy them just topped off my component pouch

I have been pretty lax on materials to this point.  I will allow this time, buys you will need to get your materials next opportunity.

Nothing special about anything but the wand.  It is a wand of the warmage +1.  Did you want to check anything else?

Seeing the Orc dismount and the Hyena charging, Ian stops his horse to steady his aim.  He takes two arrow shots at the Hyena.

Two successful shots on the Hyena as He savagely attacks the warhorse.  Attack: 24 Damage: 14

 The horse takes damage.

Ian jumps off his horse to strike the Hyena with each fist.  Athletics check 16

Left hand Attack: 19 Damage: 7

Ian twists his ankle upon landing on the uneven ground sending a shot of pain through his body. With the furry of a storm giant, he pounds the Giant Hyena to death with his fists.  All the way back at the camp, the sounds of cracking bones can be heard by the team.

The large Orc continues to flee from the battle.  Now 80 feet from Ian and 600 feet from the team.

"Saddle up, Lets go follow Ian"

Drawing his bow again, Ian takes aim at the Orc.

Still unstable from his fall, the first arrow sails over the Orc.  The second arrow sinks deep into his back.  The Orc falls dead in his tracks.

I get on the horse and ride over to search the Orc. Yelling back to Arafiel “it’s ok.  I will be back in a few minutes.”

On the Orc you find five golden rings, a tan sack, a bag of gold with 70 gp, chain mail, and a Greataxe.
