Looking down from the gate wall and seeing Ian’s head even with his massive warhorse, the lead guard says “why are you visiting Neverwinter? Where are you traveling from most recently? ................What do you have with you? And what is your name?” He looks over the whole group and points first to Ian “you first .... oh yeah and do tell about the dragon.”  Eyeing the massive pile of dragon parts.

Ian smiles as big as possible and says “we started our adventure here in Neverwinter in the service of Gundren Rockseeker and his friend Sildar. We were to escort and assist them to Phandalin.  That is where we have most recently come.  As you can see we have killed a dragon along with other monsters and now would like to sell some items before our next adventure.  My name is Ian Wolves-blood. May we enter your fine city and celebrate the eclipse?”

“We all know Sildar.  Unfortunately the Viceroy of Neverwinter has flipped the order of this place so tread carefully.  We pay no taxes during the festival but it is 10 gp per visitor and the city guard sweeps out all homeless every night.  Do you know where you are going?”  Says the lead guard to Thagakh.

"Do you have any recommendations?" Arafiel answers before Thag "The fee is no issue but we would like decent accommodations"

“The main sections of this town are arranged like a ‘+’ with the main streets coming into the center of the city from each of the four gates.  The road before you is south street.  There are 40 structures of various types from here to the center.  I think there are four taverns along the way.  There are more along north street, west street and east street.  If you are looking for a sailing vessel, east street leads to the sea and port Neverwinter.  Each section of town has a different feel to it.  Your more rustic types fit in here on south and west as well. The north is more .... civilized and political.  That’s where the Viceroy and the like stay.”

Directly to Arafiel, “ what’s your name?  .... you looking for something special?”

My name is Arafiel a member of the Vault of Sages in Silverymoon, I am more looking for something practical as it were"

The Guard says to Arafiel “ the dive just past the gate is called “The lonely lamb”. It is a tough guy spot.  “Gnome soup for you “ is a nice upperclass spot with plenty of extradiminsional rooms.  “The staggering Goat” is a quiet low key bar with some rooms. Lastly on this road but closer to the center square is another dive called “the leaping star” and I don’t know much about “the Black spider “.

The guard speaks to Boghadair and lastly Tyrus.  He wants to know if Tyrus will require a squire during his visit.

"The Staggering Goat sounds intriguing, what do you all think?"

"No sir, I need no squire," Tyrus says. To the party, he says, "The Staggering Goat is fine with me. I do not have much business here."

"Yup, Thagakh doesn't want to enter the Black Spider.

Remeber those Redbrands in Phandalin working with that group? Good thing we found out the leader of Redbrands and the notes connecting them with Black Spider and their plan on taking the mines.

Fortunately, we stopped their plans from happening and we have this money from the job to spend in Neverwinter."

"All i need to do is get rations and top off my spell components, and maybe look in a magik shop"

It has been 6 hours since the fight.

"I'll look for a shop with Arafiel to sell these miscellaneous items we have on his wagon.

The half-orc drives the horse-drawned wagon along with their wizard to find a magic shop and sell their loot.

"Excuse, good sir.  But can ye tell me where I can find a good armorsmith that might be used to working with unusual materials?" Boghadair asks the guard. 

For weapons and armor, we have “the black hammer “ on the south,”white hot” and  “shine and sharp” on the north, “one shot, one kill” and “not of this world “ on east.

"Sounds good, Thagakh, I will meet you all there later."

While the others disperse, Tyrus heads to the Lonely Lamb.

Upon entering “the Lonely Lamb” tavern, there are approximately 7 people in there at this time of day which would be about midday meal.  They hardly look up as you enter.  The barkeep is a large half-orc named EO YGO.  He is cleaning the bar as you enter and says “what will you have?”

"Glass of water, and whatever meal you serve this time of day," Tyrus says, with a polite nod to the half-orc.

Eyeing Tyrus closely, the orc says “you lost?  You look like you belong north of the river.”  He hands you a cup of water and what looks like a cooked leg of some squatty animal. “ 1 silver”
