Name: Dugli Class: Artificier, leaning towards Alchemist. Race: Goblin Backstory: Dugli was always a goblin for an affinity for creating brews and potions. Having put a lot of his time and energy into this, and not into raiding or killing adventurers, he was outcast from the goblin clan he resided in. With no where else to go, he went to Falcon's Hallow, where initially, he was not welcomed, and put under careful watch. But after he earned the trust of the others, he was let free of being watched, and now practices his alchemy freely. (His spells, will be flavored as different potions and brews.) The Great Vault in Almas has a "vested" interest in seeing this sickness quickly handled, as to not disrupt the trade in the area. Having been recently promoted to Taxmaster and having a working knowledge of healing, Ethen has been asked to investigate. Just arrived in Falcon's Hallow he's anxious to get started.
Backstory: Hadriana Alpengrove grew up in a humble farming family on the outskirts of the Darkmoon Vale. Her family cultivated hardy crops and raised sheep in the shadow of the foreboding Droskar's Craig, their livelihood sustained by the rich volcanic soil. Life was simple but rewarding, and Hadriana cherished the rhythms of the land. She developed a deep respect for the cycles of nature, understanding how each season brought life, death, and rebirth.
One spring, as Hadriana tended her family's fields, strange occurrences began to unsettle her. The crops flourished unnaturally fast under her care, and animals injured in their pastures seemed to heal when she touched them. At first, she dismissed these events as coincidence, but soon visions of ancient groves and whispering winds began haunting her dreams. She discovered that she could coax plants to grow with a word and mend wounds with a touch of her hand. Her family, both awed and uneasy, suggested she seek the guidance of the wandering druids rumored to roam the forests.
Following their advice, Hadriana ventured into the woods. There, she encountered an enigmatic druid named Thalwyn Mossroot, who revealed to her the truth: she was gifted with druidic powers, a rare connection to the natural world that could not be ignored.
Though she missed her family and the simplicity of farm life, Hadriana knew she was destined for something greater. She began traveling from village to village, offering her skills as a healer. Her knowledge of plants and remedies from her farming days combined seamlessly with her druidic magic, making her a beacon of hope for those suffering from sickness or injury.
Now, hearing of the strange plague gripping the lumber town, Hadriana feels a pull stronger than any before. She understands that this affliction threatens not only the people but the land itself, which has already been scarred by overharvesting and the shadow of the volcano. Determined to find a cure and restore harmony to the Vale, Hadriana has stepped forward to answer the town’s desperate call.

Nice, link your character when it is done.
That's what I was missing xD I knew I was missing something lmao.
I'm putting a pause on recruiting, but not yet a stop.
If you have already posted a comment before this post you still have a chance to get into the campaign and can post information about your character.
At the moment there is a split between wanting to play here or on my discord. I have already prepared the Discord for the campaign, but if the majority prefers here then I can move everything over here instead.
Depending on people's feelings towards playing one forum or the other, may involve people not desiring to play. If that is the case, and of a significant enough number, then recruiting may open back up.
Please DM me your preference between the two areas of play, if you haven't already informed me. Thank you.
That worked. :) (Well, technically I switched to desktop mode, but it still worked. It also has the option for dice rolls and images, which mobile doesn't.)
Would people be interested in splitting into two groups, one on Discord and one on forums? Both running the campaign but not in the same world.
I'm good with two groups as long as it's not a stresser for you.
I prefer to play in the forums only because I've never played over discord. I've got a discord account but don't use it for much of anything. I'm open to giving DC a try if it'll help the party get going.
I like a mix. Forum for the game thread, sheets for the rolls, and Discord for maps, OCC, treasure logs, information logs anything else, but I'll bend the knee and go where the game goes.

If there are enough people (and you have enough time) for that, then sure. I'm ok with doing the forum, but prefer Discord.
I should have the time; I'm unemployed due to mental health issues and a bloodflow problem. Nothing too bad, I just have to lay down most of the day due to not being able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
maybe
nevermind

(Btw, anyone know how to remove the "Recruiting" tag?)
Tools at the upper right of the page. Click Edit Thread, then change the tag.

Doesn't appear to be there on mobile. :(
Try landscape mode on the phone. More options present that way.

So plenty of time available. Lol.
Prefer the game to be on these forums with rolls made from the character sheets.
I'm flexible on the maps.
