-Only accept me if you are playing in the forums- CHARACTER SHEET Name: Davrich Race: Vampire Class: Paladin (When subclass comes, I'll be a death night) Davrich has a dark past. Most of his life he's been scorned, feared, and rejected. And for good reason! And while he's changed his ways, and now does things for the good of the people, it can't be argued that he does so with questionable methods. He doesn't know how he became a vampire, it was something his parents did with some powerful being. All he know is that hen they did that, they sealed his fate. He could never live a normal life. He could never love or beloved. He'd always be hated. And he'd always hate his parents for that.
You don't have Common as a language. That might make things difficult.
So far these are the preferences of the players with completed characters. We could begin with these groups if people are okay with that. We'll be sharing a campaign group, though playing separately.

I'll see if there's a way to change that. Actually, i don't know if i have any languages?
There is currently 3 players for Discord and 6 for Forums. I am okay running it as this, though if someone wanted to switch to Discord to balance it out that would be fine.
I'm good either way
D&D since 1984

Can always just override the character sheet to add it
Yeah, if you go to the proficiencies tab (on mobile at least) and click on it you should be able to override it and add stuff.
I don't use mobile, but yeah. I know how, I just didn't know if I got any due to using homebrew race and background.
I didn't realize that it was from homebrew, thought it was from a book. If its giving you issues like this maybe we should change characters.
Does anyone else have any homebrew in their character?
It just didn't give me common by default. I added it on my own.
I didn't think I needed to say it, since people were using dndbeyond to make their characters, but I'd like to avoid homebrew.
For this I must unfortunately deny the vampire character. You are more than welcome to make a non-homebrew character. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyone else with homebrew parts of your characters, please change them.
No problem. Is the homebrew subclass alright? I've used it before no problem.
Unfortunately no. I'd prefer to keep things to the books. Sorry again.

No pressure, like I said I can run it as is.
Okay. I don't know which subclass I'll be taking, but i switched over to a mark of the shadow elf.
For vampire there is a similar player version spices known as Dhampir. If the DM is cool with it. It comes from the Ravenloft module.

I am okay with Dhampir.
Oh, thanks for that. I have however completely changed direction.
Davrich is now a Hedge Bard with the entertainer background.
We are close to beginning. Are there any concerns or taboos that you want to avoid?
I personally have issues with heavy gore and I will fade to black for any "romantic" scenes.
Ii can't think of anything specific.
