The party moves back to the farthest room they explored and last place they fought. The room is still much of the same. The banged up gauntlets lay on the floor or float, the armored woman still dead before where the noble had been shackled. The only change being the body of the masked man is gone, with a few blood stains going from where he was.
The redhead takes note of the missing body. "We should perhaps expect to face the reanimated corpse of the masked banite as we delve deeper into this place." She says quietly with a grim tone.
As Zim opens the door, Mal would flutter through to scout ahead. Stealth: 25 Perception: 3
Arkon nods at Val's observation, feeling glad he already took the armor from the corpses earlier. He follows Zim and Mal through the door while keeping an eye out for any more enemies.
"what do you mean reanimated corpses?" Gorin asks with a worried look.

"Reanimated, as in a Myrkulyte using the power of the Lord of Bones to make a corpse do it's bidding by turning it into one of the undead."The redhead answers quietly, giving Gorin a curious look. "I'm afraid we will most likely see worse things than that before we leave this appalling place. Nothing that Zim and Arkon here can't obliterate though I'm sure." She adds with a confident smile.
Arkon - When Zim enters, what you notice first is the particularly foul air in the room. Being so tall, it's hard to avoid the smell, nearly so bad it almost makes you retch.
Zim - While you do note the foul air, it reminds you of something. Reminding of times when there was a buildup of fumes in a cave and a neglectful soldier had brought a torch there. Then both the smell and the soldier were gone.
Arkon doesn't fully understand the danger of fumes, but puts out his lantern anyway. He waits for the others to do the same with their torches before proceeding.
Gorin keeps on following at the back, letting the others do the searching for now.

The smell is rather strong but among his kin such a smell is not out of character. Durak lets out some stifled huffs and follows everyone careful of anyone dangers and they proceed ahead.

'Reanimated corpses... as if the living down here wasn't bad enough,' thought Sarris as he checked his bow and quiver.

Zim and Arkon - Survival check
Updated map -
Zim Survival Check (11)
Zim Eaglecleft, Fighter 1 (Farmer Dwarf), Descent into Avernus (Hardcore)
Arkon survival check: 8
Arkon - When Zim enters, what you notice first is the particularly foul air in the room. Being so tall, it's hard to avoid the smell, nearly so bad it almost makes you retch.
Zim - While you do note the foul air, it reminds you of something. Reminding of times when there was a buildup of fumes in a cave and a neglectful soldier had brought a torch there. Then both the smell and the soldier were gone.
Zim heads for the first opening on the right, "This way, and put-out yer torches, smells like fumes."
Zim Eaglecleft, Fighter 1 (Farmer Dwarf), Descent into Avernus (Hardcore)
Arkon doesn't fully understand the danger of fumes, but puts out his lantern anyway. He waits for the others to do the same with their torches before proceeding.
(I'll assume the party does as well.)
After snuffing out their lanterns, the party enters the fume filled room.

Zim leads the party down (south) through the narrow hallway.

Valeria too follows along, hoping to get through the stinky chamber quickly while Mal flutters back and ahead through the narrow hallway to the south.
Arkon follows Zim, trying to ignore the unpleasant smell as he looks for enemies.
