Grexx approaches Velkyn. Grexx is a tan and slightly sunburned human. He wears leather armor with patches of fur which signal to his origin to be of the Arctic region. He has his arms at his side close to his shield and scimitar but you can tell by their lack of wear that he does not use them much. He says to Velkyn, "My search has been futile. Alas, it is not a good omen when I am unable to locate a single beast, no matter how harsh the land. I feel the ancients have placed us here for a reason. I am anxious for them to show me why"
Dell gives a short whistle to bring his companions' attention to what he found, but he realizes that they probably can't hear him over the noise of Barry smashing the wall.
"Can someone tell Mister Meat-For-Brains here to STOP BASHING ON THIS WALL ?". He glares at the group, his pale green eyes flashing through half-closed exasperated slits .
"Idiot's gonna bring down the whole thing on top of us again...", he adds under his breath, as he slowly starts digging through the sand to widen the small entrance, all the while keeping a wary eye on the ceiling, expecting giant blocks of granite to tumble down on him any minute.
"Now on the positive side: if anyone or anything was in there waiting for lunch, they know that lunch is coming, I guess..."
The slim, wiry man brushes out a strand of lanky, dark blond hair, wipes his brow smeared with dust and sweat, and continues digging diligently.

Anders a deceptively broad what looks like a man. Golden quaffed hair, golden eyes, and a pristine set of armor, shield, and warhammer. The only thing in him that looks like it has seen some use is a symbol around his neck: it shows a full moon slightly obscured by a smaller crescent moon. It has been weathered and the only thing almost tarnished from being handled frequently.
“Hey, Brain Meat!” As he puts his hand on Barry’s shoulder. “ That guy says he found something and stop breaking the wall”. “There is a drow now too, maybe he can fit in the crack”
Barrys has blue eyes and long flowing blonde hair with a braided beard. His skin is very tanned, stocky and stands tall for a dwarf at 5'2". It's hard to see Barrys eyes from under his straw boonie but his hands and arms are scarred up and calloused. He wears what looks to be coveralls, an unbuttoned green shirt with the arms torn off of it and is always chewing on something (a toothpick, piece of straw or twig). He has a pleasant and upbeat demeanor and during your travels regardless of if you've talked to him or not you'd notice he's always quick to change the topic to his brewery and shamelessly plugs it.
Upon hearing someone shout between swings and feeling a hand on his shoulder Barry will stop, look around, strap his maul onto his back, smile and say "I don't think I'm getting through there but if you need me to try again I'd be happy to!"
Dell first rolls his eyes at the dwarf's comment, then he can't help but breaking into a guffaw: "Aye, Master Dwarf, you can be sure there'll be plenty of time to hit things soon. I'm getting a feeling about this place... but call me paranoid if you will, that's what kept me alive this far !" he adds with a quick wink at the dark-hued elf coming up behind him.
"So gents, what de ye say, shall we do this? You know the drill... drill ! Er, I mean: dig! Me, I've done my part of this job."
He then takes a step back as he indicates with a flourish the beginning of his (very limited) efforts to dig out the small shaft he uncovered, and he promptly flops down into the shade a ways back, crosses his arms underneath his head and closes his eyes, adding gaily: "just give me a shout when you're done !"

The less than stunning physical form of Grexx walks over to the small shaft. "I will assist." Grexx's form then begins to contort as he casts [Tooltip Not Found] (when I try to link the tooltip it is telling me not found) to turn into a Brown Bear from his Arctic Homeland. The bear then saunters over and , roars and begins to dig.
The bear makes quick work of the piled up sand revealing a 2 foot by 2 foot square tunnel leading into the temple. It's about 10 feet long and you can see that it widens into a larger room but can't make out any details from out here.
Barry will happily volunteer to clear out the sand around the crack, once he starts his goofy smile will settle into a more purposeful determined look.
Dell stretches and yawns as the passage is being excavated at bear speed. " Methinks someone should have a look in there... Master Elf, care to use these pretty eyeballs of yours?", he asks, first looking at the dark hole in the sand, as he suddenly turns towards their wreckage with a thoughtful look. " I wonder if there's anything left in there that I could put to use..."
He's looking for something that can serve as a 10-foot pole in particular, or anything else of use in general. (Perception Roll)

Upon the digs completion Barry will make his way over to the bear and pat him on the head "You did a good job little buddy" he will then carefully search his bag for a ration before breaking it in half and trying share his meal with the bear "I didn't see you before but you're a friendly little guy maybe when we're done here you can come to my house, I'll give you some beer but don't tell my brother... he doesn't like when I give animals liquor".
Dell you search and search through the semi charred wreckage with no luck. You're about to give up when you spot a 4 foot pole that's attached by a clamp to a railing on the ship. It's easily removed and you notice there's a button on one end of the pole

"So boys, are we going in or should we continue standing out here sweating and dehydrating?" Velkyn walks over towards the dug out tunnel. Crouching down without touching anything against the ground except his feet and a single hand. What can he see in the other room?
Dell you figure out after some trial and error that it's an Immovable Rod.
Velkyn sees that the room beyond is actually a long corridor. The walls and the ceiling are not rough stone like outside but instead some smooth plaster or cement. There appears to be illustrations all over the walls but from this far way in the dark it's hard to make out what the drawings are.
The master rogue's face splits in a large, beaming smile as he finally unveils the powers of his find. "Now gentlemen, this here will be put to use, or my name ain't The Great Maguyre !".
Dancing a happy jig, he saunters over to where Velkyn is spying into the entrance. "Any daunting discovery, Whitey ? Anyone ever told you that you have a very manly way of squatting, by the way ? Just kidding, ye old pointy-eared sylvanian devil, ye...!". Snorting at his own awful jokes, he squats next to the elf and cocks his head towards the opening, pretending to listen. After a while he stands up again and announces: "Yep, just as I thought: there's doodly-squat in there. Okay crew, let's get out of this searing heat and dive into this... I guess I'd call it a pit, but that's not very appetizing. Let's say it's a burried palace filled with treasures. Here now, that should motivate everyone..."

"I've never heard anyone call you by that nickname, only Dell." Continuing to look through the passage. "You know the difference between you and I, Dell? You're going to crawl through this little passage way here, I'm not." Velkyn gets up and out of the way so Dell can make his way in. "Hey, Grexx you're confusing Barry here, and you're not going to fit through this passage way as a bear."
*** Also haha Grx! You called yourself Graxx already! ;)

Grexx will remain in Brown Bear form. He waddles over plops down to the right of the shaft.

Grexx as a Brown Bear accepts half the ration from Barry. He throws his head back and swallows down the ration.
"So boys, are we going in or should we continue standing out here sweating and dehydrating?" Velkyn walks over towards the dug out tunnel. Crouching down without touching anything against the ground except his feet and a single hand. What can he see in the other room?
He has 60ft darkvision.
