Velkyn will shoot at the two snakes that bit him. Using Distant Strike so he teleports before attacking to remove his disadvantage without provoking attacks of opportunity

You guys kill 4 easily. The last one bites and Grexx but misses.

Grexx will cast frostbite once more on last snake.

**Whew, all the little snakeys are dead 💀🐍

You all recover for a moment in this room full of dead snakes. You can all see inside the chest now. There is a stick poking out.

Barry will move his hand towards the stick but just before grabbing onto it a feeling of familiarity will hit him and he will stop and look at Dell.

 Dell gives a look back at Barrys and winks at him: "You're learning, Hot Stuff ! We may make a real tomb robber outta ye yet...", he says approvingly as he comes next to Barry and pats the dwarf on the shoulder encouragingly. "I know you really wanna pull that lever, but we all now levers around here are... let's say, mischievious in the best of cases...!"

He then kneels next to the chest and proceed to inspect the lever, the inside of the chest and the area around it, looking for any cracks in the stonework or any other sign of a trap, pressure plate, or hidden mechanism.

Dell goes to inspect the lever but finds it is not a lever at all, but just a staff laying propped up inside the chest.  It resembles a wooden staff with a snake head carved into the handle of it.  Its not attached to the chest at all and can be picked up easily.

Dell turns around and calls Grexx over: "Natural Guy, I think this may be up your alley... I don't do well with snakes meself, but I reckon this thing here could prove useful. Or cursed. Hard to say, really..."

 He stands next to the chest and indicates the carved staff with one thumb, while he hooks the other cockingly into his belt. "Just lemme take a few steps back before you bring these dangly bits in my vicinity again, okay ?", he points at Grexx's blaring nakedness to illustrate his point, before concluding: "... and also, I wanna be at a safe distance in case this thing starts spouting venomous snakes again !"

Dell lets anyone interested close to the chest, he'll step back towards the rope and gets ready to climb back up into the spheres' room.
