"Unfortunately, no. I don't know such spells." Tool answers Stardust on Stone. "One of us could try jumping across but that sounds dangerous. Hmm, does anyone have a rope? If so, we tie it to a rock and toss it across. I'll summon a being to untie it from the rock and fasten it to the plank. Then we pull and get the plank."
[Based on RAW: Long Jump. When you make a long jump, you cover a number of feet up to your Strength score if you move at least 10 feet on foot immediately before the jump.
Sairn should be able to run and jump, the rest of you would not make the leap. :) ]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sairn was in a deep mediation, thinking of a plan, when the mention of rope makes his Elf ears fold back, he opens one eye. "Kenku, I have a solid rope in my bag.. maybe you can fly it across?" His lips curl into a smirk, "I'm kidding.. However... " I look at the distance to the board. "We'll be here all day if I just try to throw it. I'm going to run and jump it.. given my health at the moment, I might miss"
The Elf looks around at his companions and backs up as far as he can and then breaks into a sprint, lifting off the ground to jump across the chasm. (Athletics Check: 7 )
edit to add: damn forgot its plus 3 on athletics, this is see if I make it across without hurting myself.
Sairn is able to run and make the jump. His landing isn't perfect as the ground is a bit wet, most likely from the occasional splash of the river below.
[I assume Sairn will work on moving the plank across the chasm to create a bridge?]

Recovering his balance with a turn, Sarin looks back at the Kenku and the Tabaxi, putting a finger to his lips. He grasps onto the plank, glancing behind him at the opening where the muddy boots were. Trying to focus and be as quiet as possible.. getting attacked now would likely doom his fate at such weary health. Sweat on his brow, Sairn gently lowers the plank.
Sensing the creature doesn't do much good, because Sairn was busy with the plank and didn't have time to move out of the way of the creature. "Kobold!" He cries out, recognizing the wings before the rock lands on his head, the weight driving him down to the ground with a heavy thud, He slips into unconsicous, looking at the Tabaxi and Kenku on the other side of the water...
Death Saving throw if it counts for my turn: 7
(OOC: I didn't use my short rest like i should have.. my mistake.)
(ooc, just a suggestion to my fellow players in arms, unless you have something to deal with a Kobold head on, we should revive my stupid butt and plan something.)
(I didn't realize what short rest could do for me til after the fact.. not sure if I could even attack a kobold in the air like that.. but if I have to keep rolling death saves, whatever lol)
Stardust crosses the plank, watching for the kobold, ready with his bow and arrow. As soon as he is across, he pulls Sairn back to the other side. Once there, if possible, he will pull the plank after both of them as well.
(OOC: I think that's movement (walking the plank), an action (dragging Sarin), and interacting with an object (pulling the plank) on my turn. If that's too much, let me know AugustForever!)
Stardust on Stone is able to grab the unconscious elf and get him back across the chasm, where he then pulls the plank to their side.
The Kenku attempts to administer first aid but is too distracted in the heat of the moment.
[I'll assume after the first, Stardust will help and together your able to stabilize him. If you don't have a way to heal him, you'll need to wait an hour for him to recover to 1 hp. I'll also assume we are out of combat unless Tool and Stardust want to cross back over and go into the room?
As of now, there is no sign of the flying kobold!]
(stardust could give me aid and then we go into a short rest, I'll recover fully that way. if not, we can still take on the kobold.. perhaps try to get him out of hiding. He isn't the one that stole the gold)

Could everyone roll a Perception and a Stealth roll please?
Stardust on Stone's Perception: 8
Stardust on Stone's Stealth: 23
"Nicely done, Sairn," he'll whisper.

As Sairn places the plank across the chasm, behind him, a kobold appears hovering 6 feet off the ground, wings holding him aloft.

The elf falls as a rock hits him on the head, dropping him to the stone floor.
The kobold snarls and says, "Leave here. Kobold place! Only warning" and his wings carry him upwards, out of sight from the doorway.

[Let's not chase after the kobold for now. Oh, and should we just retcon Li out of the game? He hasn't responded at all since April 22]
