Since it’s only 20ft distance, Blaze is going to use Fey Step to magically teleport to the ledge. (Here’s is what the feature says, “As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Once you use this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.”)
Once Blaze appears on the ledge and yells to the others, “‘Let me know if you need help, I will try to catch you all if needed!”
Blaze suddenly disappears, reappearing in an instant on the ledge twenty feet below. Sand, rocky debris, and the bones of small animals cover the ledge. A roughly hewn stairwell zigs and zags down the side of the ledge, descending into darkness. There is an extinguished campfire at the top level of the ledge where Blaze is.
Suddenly, Blaze is set upon by a Dire Rat that has been hiding in a crevice in the wall of the ravine! It leaps, going for the throat! (Blaze's AC: 13 Attack: 6 Damage: 4)
The rat fails as Blaze sees it just in the nick of time and dodges out of the way!
(Blaze, and anyone else that wants to get involved, roll initiative.)
Blaze shouts, “What the shit!” And from the surprise attack from this giant rat he is going to pull out his Rapier and try to slash its face while jumping back.
Opal graps hold of the rope and climbs quickly down(20' climbing speed because of extensive claws probably even better with the ledges available.), once on the ground she can double her speed if needed in a round to get to the fight. How far is the battle from the rope? If she doesn't need to use this she will not and throw daggers x2 as finesse weapons as soon as gets a footing.
"You were in no danger, now see to your friend up there. She's looking a little worried. Can you do that fancy walk while carrying someone.." Something catches her eye as she speaks to Blaze and she trails off a bit and walks in the direction of the prints. "Kai, we need you here, I see more tracks, some look like the heavy booted step many humans make."
Blaze jumps and falls back to the ground. It didn’t work...”Uhhh...Sorry it’s seems I can only do it once every so often. And it doesn’t seem I have rope on me. Here maybe this will help!” I play my viol and give Bardic Inspiration to Irina. I also sing, (with edited lyrics of course) “Baby come down, I’m waiting on you!”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Opal climbs back up to help Irina down. She will take out her own rope, hand one end to one of the party still at the top, tie the other end around Irina. "Now we climb down using the foot holds and the other good rope. They can hold the one tied to you in case you as a back up, and I will climb down before you to be sure. That ok?"
I wasn't doing my rolls quite right. Expertise - which i have in sleight of hand and thieves tools doubles the proficiency bonus. Otherwise just normal if I am proficient. If I am not proficient nothing added except the attribute benefit. sorry about that
Irina looks down the ledge, chuckling at the sight of blaze losing his composure slightly, then looks at Opal reassuringly, and begins to climb down the rope using the footholds and safety rope to aid her descent. "Here goes nothing!" She calls to her Tabaxi friend, as she steps down to the foothold.

Oswald waits for Irina and Opal to make their way back down the ravine before going down himself. Waving to Hunhow and Alex before going over the edge, "See you both at the bottom."

Opal doesn't detect any more rats. She does, however, notice footprints: goblin prints, but also human-sized.

Something catches her eye as she speaks to Blaze and she trails off a bit and walks in the direction of the prints. Blaze looks up, “I can certainly try.” He tries to Fey Step back up, grab Irina and Fey Step back down to the ledge.
(I'm not sure if you can teleport other people with you, but don't you need a short rest before using Fey Step again in any case?)
(Yeah you are right, I will play it off)
