Serkjerk smiles a broad fang-endowed grin. Head bobbing to the rhythm of Dug's whistling, he continues to lead the group off of the main trail leading to Greenest, into the surrounding Greenfields, heading to the northwest. After 15 or so minutes of walking, he finds a simple trail pointing to the forest you can see a few miles in the distance. Smiling at the group, Serkjerk points at the forest in the distance and says, "Almost home!"
The group continues to journey along the simple path for another 30 minutes, covering about a mile and a half, when suddenly the sound of hooves pounding the earth can be heard. Turning to the northeast, the group sees a cluster of large boulders about 100 feet away. As you look in this direction, you see three rough looking horseman charging toward you. One of the horseman notches an arrow to a shortbow that he is holding in both hands while riding, points it skyward, and looses. The arrow falls about 10 feet short of Buddy. Warning shot perhaps? The other two horseman have swords drawn.
(Everybody roll initiative! To do so, look at the initiative modifier on your character sheet, roll a d20 and add the result to your initiative modifier. For now, Dug will fight in tandem with Serkjerk, so I'll roll initiative for both of us. You can use the little dice tool in the editor to handle rolling and ensure it's never tampered with. It's pretty easy to figure out.)
Serkjerk sees the riders and doesn't hesitate. He runs off the trail toward the enemy and prepares to throw Dug as soon as one of them gets within 10 feet.
(Serkjerk uses all of his movement to move to J9 and then uses his ready action so he can throw Dug if an enemy gets within 10 feet before his next turn.)

Bandit#1 uses all of his movement to charge straight toward Serkjerk and Dug (40 feet to L9). As Bandit#1 gets within 10 feet of Serkjerk, he launchs Dug through the air at the rider.

In preparing for the attack, Serkjerk began spinning in place to create momentum. However, Dug began feeling woozy while spinning and before Serkjerk could launch him through the air, Dug began spewing sap mixed with chunks of insect through a large notch in his trunk. Sadly, most of the tree vomit landed on Serkjerk (Serkjerk will have 15 less movement at the beginning of his next turn).
Bandit#2 and Bandit#3 also use all of their movement to charge toward the group (40 feet each to M10 and N11 respectively).

Startled and confused by the sap vomit bursting forth from Dug and blasting him, Serkjerk sees Bandit#1 getting close and enters into a rage. His eyes turn a dark red and his grotesque face twists into an evil expression. He snatches up his great hammer, charges toward Bandit#1 and swings!

Serkjerk's hammer swing connects with Bandit#1's head, knocking him clean of his horse, dealing 13 damage and killing him.
Buddy's initial ice knife misses Bandit#2, but the explosion of shards following its impact with the ground sends one plummeting directly into Bandit#3's chest, dealing 10 damage and killing him.
Bandit#3 charges toward Atlas and swings at him with his scimitar but misses entirely.
Bandit#3 rears his horse up just as Atlas swings his hammer, causing the attack to miss.
Serkjerk drops his war hammer, moves back to Dug, and attempts to make a throwing attack with him again by trying to toss him over Atlas at Bandit#3 on his horse.

This time, Dug holds his sap as Serkjerk sends him soaring through the air and over Atlas' head before he slams squarely into Bandit#3's torso, knocking him clean off his horse and to the ground, causing the Bandit#3 to shatter his spine in several places and breaking his neck upon impact. Bandit#3 dies instantly.

After the final bandit dies, the everyone is still within 10 feet of one another and Dug is lying on top of a crushed bandit. The bandit corpses are close to the group and their horses, frantic after being dismounted, moved to safety but didn't bolt away and are within 15 feet of the group.
