(OOC: Well of course he does. Bards are very persistent when they want to get into something... =)
Alustine asks, "Everyone OK? That was a nasty encounter! Should I get us into that locked room? I think I have a master key in my backpack..." When the group is ready, he will take out the crowbar and use it to force open the door - or at least let one of the muscle-types do it. He was more of a lover than a fighter, anyways...
*** If the dm allows I would like to change my previous post, which shouldn't matter since we are out of combat and I would have missed anyway so I know I didn't kill the specter.
After throwing his flail in anger, Thrash will prepare to lunge at the specter, in attempt to tear it apart with his teeth. Just as he is about to pounce something will catch him offgaurd. Rajiira's voice will penetrate his rage. "Does she truly care about my well-being??" He will think to himself. Thrash, suprised will look to Rajiira and blink. In that blink his black eyes will return to normal and the rage will leave him. What?!... locking eyes with Rajiira, a big goofy sharp-toothed smile across his face... Then the specter being defeated will snap Thrash out of his trance. He will then walk over to the trunk and grab his flail along with both femur bones and skull.
When Alustine asks if everyone is alright, Thrash will walk over to him and give him a big grin and a wink. Never better buddy, a big smile still spread across his rotting face. (he has 8/15 hp).He will then offer to help with the locked door in the hall.
Thrash and Allustine struggle for just a moment, and then with a 'Pop' the lock opens and falls to the floor. The door swings open on its own and you see that this room contains a bricked-up window flanked by two dusty, wood-framed beds sized for children. Closer to the door is a toy chest with windmills painted on its sides and a dollhouse that’s a perfect replica of this dreary edifice in which you stand. These furnishings are draped in cobwebs.
Lying in the middle of the floor are two small skeletons wearing tattered but familiar clothing. The smaller of the two cradles a stuffed doll that you also recognize.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OTC clicks and sniffs a few times, getting her bearings.

She recasts Shillelagh, then cautiously pokes the skeletons, crushing them into a pulp if they or anything from them leaps out at her. If not, she heads to the toy chest to see what's inside, if anything.
(Would OTC smell the familiarness of the doll or clothes?)
Rajiiras' fur would slowly settle down returning back to its normal somewhat fluffed out Sheen, the most of it was slipped down as if combed at all times. Her eyes would close for several moments letting herself kneel down, and release the tension that had mounted. She knew that specters came in all shapes and sizes and Undead and general were dangerous when underestimated. Keeping her Scimitar and shield at the ready she pulled herself back up just as the group and broken into the room and would ask " while this one is glad that the fight ended when it did, has anyone found anything of note?" Then entering the room herself to look around and see if there was anything else other than the skeleton children and the bricks. (Can you roll an investigation check for me? To see if I can find any hidden levers latches holes Keys cetera?)
Thrash will look into the room and his eyes will settle on the skeletons of the children. His eyes will enlarge and anger will wash across his face.
Damn it I knew it! Those dang kids were ghosts and this was a trap! Those ghost kids are probably laughing at us right now! I am heading downstairs and pulling that longsword off the wall. I say we take anything we want that is not nailed down. The only things in this house are ghosts or other beings evil enough not to be torn to bits by them. I wouldn't take items from good people, but I have no problems taking things from murderous ghosts!
Thrash will storm out of the room and start heading towards the staircase. His smile gone and replaced with an angry snarl with a bit of disappointment as well. Disappointment in the fact that if there ever was a baby in trouble, it was probably long gone by now. As he reaches the stairway, he will extend his hand and dig his obsidian claws into the wood of the wall, leaving a large gash behind with every step he takes down the stairwell. Reflections of the torchlight dancing along his scales.
Rajiira - You walk in to the room and start to look around 13. You open up the children's toy chest to see what's inside.
As Rajiira opens the chest the rest of you see the two children you met outside appear in the middle of the room. They are slightly transparent and hovering just above their skeletons on the ground. "Please don't touch our toys!" the girl yells at Rajiira.
OTC - you feel a cold breeze that sends a shiver down your spine before you hear the girl from outside talking from somewhere on this level.
**Sorry OTC I think we wrote these at the same time. You can be in the room too with Rajiira
"Father locked the door to keep us safe, from the monster in the basement. But.. he never came back. Thorn and I got so hungry waiting for him to come back."
Rajiira would let thrash go for now. There was always time to talk later and they had just gotten the revelation. Rajiira would then say first to the group and then to the kids " well now we know whatever we seek is probably in the basement. And I feel we should investigate it although I have my doubts as to how much information it will provide it is better than nothing. This one feels as though we were all brought here for some reason perhaps? And children, perhaps you would remember that Rajiira aided you outside. Tell us anything you know about the monster, or monsters, in the basement. Also, this one wishes to know how long ago did your father lock you up. If you do not know exactly, guess. And lastly do you know anything about where your father may have went after he locked you up?" Her tail flicking curiously, a slight Sparkle of interest in her eyes. She was always a curious one and love to learn about new things though she was still somber at the fact that the revelations would come at the hands of children who were slain. The outer worlds Mysteries were her Treasures, as were their people.
"That's terrible, I'm so sorry that happened to you." Tisnip tells the children, being sure to look at them and not the horrifying and tragic skeletons at their ghostly feet. She glances over at her party and shakes her head. "I didn't sense any monster when we were on the ground floor, but my spell only narrows the options so there could still be something down in the basement. Did anyone see a door leading to a basement? I don't remember one."
"Home run!"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
If two of you work together you can have advantage.

**sorry OTC, most of that was copied from the module. I forget to add more non-sight things
With a few clicks you get a sense of the size of the room. A large bedroom most likely. The smell is unmistakable though. Something died in here.

"Did the specter appear female or male? I couldn't tell because, you know, blind."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Tyriok's eyebrow raises, "You're blind? Interesting..." Tyriok waves his small hand in front of OTC.
Kandalou Dle'tan - Level 9 Githyanki Fighter (Champion) - Rrakkma PbP
She slaps it away.
"I may be blind, but I'm not blind. Wait, that doesn't work. I can sense you alright?"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Tyriok pulls his own cheeks apart with his fingers, "What am I doing right now?"
Kandalou Dle'tan - Level 9 Githyanki Fighter (Champion) - Rrakkma PbP
"I'm still blind. It's just my other senses are heightened. So don't you dare pass gas anywhere within 50 feet of me or I will probably die."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
