Rajiira herself noted down all of what Eva was saying, even if she no longer held any affection for the woman at all.
Rajiira is fine with seeking out a wanderer to help us find our way here. But if we are facing someoen who is beyond mortality, that liekly means he is some form of extremely powerful undead. Perhaps a lich, or something similar. Which means, Rajiira wishes to find this... "Weapon of Vengeance" as this person has rightly robbed us of our freedom, and that is more than enough reason to seek vengeance. We should also seek out this.. holy power.. symbol thing... if we are facing undeath, what greater protection can we find than the power that competes with it?
Rajiira would longer long enough to hear thier responses to what she had said herself, hoping they would agree, but not expecting them to, entirely. and then would go out to speak with Thrash.
She regained her positive aura as she walked to where Thrash was at, seeing him angrily bash his drum, she would call out Dear Thrash.. do not bang the drum so. It is not it's fault, and you are like to poke a hole in it! She would saunter up to him, pulling the drum from his hands when she approached, only to replace it with her own, tiny frame. She was only 5ish feet tall afterall, and as a cat she could shrink even further. Placing herself in his lap, and rubbing the top of her head against his throat and lower jaw. She was simply trying to calm him, nothing more. She would tell Thrash of what she heard inside, what the group seemed to want to do, as well as about the 'guild member in a tomb' and an 'ageless man haunting a tower'. And Rajiira is fine with going along with it. She will begin honing her skills in hunting certain creatures as we go. however, Rajiira also wishes to find this legendary weapon of vengeance.. Oh this one hopes it is a bow.... she will not be nearly as skilled with it otherwise! But it will be what it will be.. Though.. Rajiira believes it is Likely guarded by a Drrrragon. Her tail wrapped around his waist, as she leaned back into him, pressing her shoulders into his chest. And I feel we should seek this holy defender symbol.. or whatever it is. If we're going to face a creature powerful enough to hide an entire nation from existence.. we will need everything we can get.... Rajiira thinks. What say you?
And just in case, don't worry, it'll always be kept PG :P
Thrash would be too distracted by his drumming to see Rajiira approach. As the drum disappears from his hands and is replaced with a smiling Tabaxi, he will feel his anger start to finally leave him. As she begins snuggling and leaning against him, he will gently wrap his powerful arms around her and listen to what she has to say. "I think we need to gather whatever tools we can that will help us in our fight against Strahd." Thrash would reply to rajiira, locking eyes with her as she continued to squirm around on his lap "I know I should not have gotten angry but I feel like she could have been more help than what she was.... I mean she knew all of usby specifically by name and KNEW exactly when we would show up but every question we had for her resulted in some kind of wishy-washy answer...." Thrash would then grab Rajiira by the waist and stand up, lifting Rajiira into the air and placing her on the right shoulder, so that she was seated facing the same direction he was facing with his right arm still on her side so he can help to keep her from falling "Just point the way and I will start walking" he would stay to Rajiira, tilting his head to look up to Rajiira now that she was on this shoulder with a big grin on his face. Then, turning towards the tent he would yell out "You guys done in there? It sounds like we have a few leads to chase down!"
"Two cards indicate that we need to visit a burial place - perhaps one location but with several mausoleums? And a 'dragon's house.' Perhaps a noble, whose crest or family line depicts a dragon? A family that was once good and noble but now twisted and dark like these lands? Madam, do any of these sound like a place you can direct us to?" The bard will also use his knowledge of lore to figure out these clues.
That's actually some pretty good guesswork Rhan. I was thinking too literally.
Rajiira felt a bit awkward getting picked up that way. it didn't really feel bad but it didn't really feel good. She was unsure how she felt about it. Regardless, she would point back to the tent, knowing he wouldn't want to go. We may not like her but we are stuck with the rest of them. They seem like good people.. mostly.
Sorry, blanking on anything else I can really do here since we've gotten the info we came for :x
As Rajiira points back to the tent, he would stand for a moment waiting for the others to come out... after a few seconds he would gently place Rajiira back on her feet and take a seat again by the fire. Looking up to her is would give her a smile and start to pull out some of his supplies needed for her shield. Once he had the table top, his hand axe, and wood carving tools and begin shaping it into a shield. "Since it looks like we have a little more time to kill here, I figure I may as well do something useful" working the larger table top into a smaller buckler-sized flat wooden surface, before pulling out some of his pieces of leather and sanding it smooth. His hands working quickly and with purpose but also never ignoring Rajiira or the other Vistani if they try to address him. "So I was thinking that maybe when start trying to find your weapon of vengeance... maybe you could use your dagger to ask some rodents if they have seen the lady in the mist around and I could try to speak with animals to ask any owls or other flying creatures in the area.... Just a thought..." Once the shiled is a perfect circle around 2.5 - 3ft ft in diameter, he would work two narrow slots into the face of the shield. Then he would pull out his other Wolf helmet and remove the face plate. After working the parts of the faceplate that used to connect it to the rest of the helm through the slots, he would turn the shield over and bend the metal into place and pin it with metal pins so that the steel wolf face was securely attached to the front of the shield. Now that the wolf face was attached, he would take some time to attach leather straps to the back so that she could hold and secure the shield to her arm. Lastly he would pull out the rest of his woodcarving tools and begin to carve a few little designs on the face as well as carving "The Dawn" under the wolf face in Draconic.
Once it is complete he would finish sanding any last little pieces before using the dye in his leatherworking kit to stain the wood Black so that the silver colored Wolf would really POP before handing it to Rajiira
I hope you find this to be to your liking, Thrash would say nervously as he hands her the finished product, giving her a hopeful smile.
**shoot guys, sorry, i messed up the last card drawn, it should have said this:**
She draws a fifth card, "This is the final card. Your enemy is a creature of darkness, whose powers are beyond mortality. This card will lead you to him!"
"Look to great heights. Find the beating heart of the castle. He waits nearby."
Madam Eva thinks a moment over Allustine's question, "Hmm, I remember hearing a tail from back before Barovia was enshrouded in mist, of a noble lord who came to Barovia to fight against Strahd's armies. He led the Order of the Silver Dragon. I believe they had a fortress, or a castle somewhere in Barovia.. but I wouldn't know where it is. As for the burial places, you'll find many cemeteries, crypts and mausoleums throughout Barovia."
Tisnip will sigh, put out at the idea that finding this holy symbol and knowledge will essentially be the equivalent of finding a needle in a haystack. She hopes they'll manage it though. "I do hope that's a metaphorical heart and not a literal one." She'll shudder at the thought, strange as it may be a house did just try to kill them already.
"Madam Eva, do you or one of your kin perhaps have a map of the area? All of these tasks to accomplish, I'd hate to be inefficient or miss an opportunity."Tisnip will shrug to the others. "We should've asked back at the inn or the shop, I didn't even think but this land seems like a vast one even if it is closed off from the rest of the world."
A Vistani man comes in, slightly out of breath, "Madam Eve, sorry to interrupt, here's that map you asked me to get." and you see he is holding a rolled up piece of parchment.
"Thank you Marek that will be all."and she takes the parchment and passes it to Tisnip.
She'll take the map carefully with a look of awe on her face. "You really are a great seer. Thank you so much." Tisnip will unroll the map and hold it to where Alustine and Tyriok can see it over her shoulders. "So we're...here..ish? At the village of Barovia? These woods are everywhere, oh my goodness."
Can someone tell me how to get to the Svalich Woods?
Rajiira easily stands and twirls as she is put down, the one thing cats are known for is agility. Though she see's Thrash get to work, and watched intently. She had never seen anyone before who would just grab whatever they had lying around, throw it together, and create something. Its not like she couldn't craft things herself.. she did have a knack for wooden things, a skill she picked up in case she ever had to repair her bow, or make new arrows, but she wasn't quite this fast at it.
Her tail S'd left and right until it was all done. She thought it looked a little bulky in the front, but that may somehow lend her an advantage in a situation or two. Haha totems... she thought to herself, imagining a wolf, a lizard and a cat trifecta of totems with her and thrash being two of the three. chuckling at that thought, until Thrash had finished. Once he handed her the shield, she would test it's weight on her defending arm, finding it a little awkward, not being used to the extra forward weight, but it was otherwise fine. Thank you Thrash. Rajiira is most appreciative. She still wishes she could have seen inside one of those other rooms... Rajiira just KNOWS there had to have been something there.... every story ever told says as much, but Rajiira wasn't willing to risk losing all our shields even if the possibility was high. But Thrash.. you need to be a little more confident, outside of battle. YOu've shown little bits here and there.. but you always seem nervous when you're giving me something. This one was not raised to be un-appreciative. And it's already clear we are both interested to a degree. Rajiira wouldn't call it love. However that does not mean it cannot become. Just keep showing us all how much of a man you can be.
It was clear Rajiira was either more mature, or less reactive when it came to feelings of affection. She was more teasing and bold, and willign to outright show it, but was less on the more subtle details. Rajiira considered talking to the other Vistani gathered here but didn't really see a point to it. They already had thier information. And the others likely knew less than Eva did.
She patted thrash on the back, and said Come, let us go back to the tent. The best way to spite someone you dislike is by remaining in thier face, instead of releiving them of your presence. Besides our friends likely have more information than I have now.
Thrash will smile at Rajiira as she expresses her regret in not being able to search the other rooms. "I am just thankful you were able to recover the weapons and armor pieces I asked for when I was..... not well.." Thrash will say, placing his hand on the hilt of the sword. "It was a shame I had to throw half of them at that monster right away... but that is why I say that you can never have too many weapons" A big smile spreading across his face....
"Contolling my emotions had never been a strong suit my mine" Thrash would say with a smile.. "My rage has been a great source of power to me over the years, and while I have gotten pretty good at controlling my anger... kind of" his smile growing bigger "This feeling of interest you have sparked inside of me is new so I am still getting the hang of it.." Thrash would stand up and take a step closer to Rajiira and place his hand on her shoulder. "But if you play your cards right, perhaps you will learn why they used to call me "Two Tails"" Thrash would say giving her a big wink before heading back into the tent.

"Thrash, my scaly friend, I can tell you are eager to confront the dark lord. Castle Ravenloft is not far from here. Just continue down this road for a short while and you will be there."
**it's the little thing just above the word Tser Pool**
Examining the map, Alustine marks where Castle Strahd is located, then continues poring over the features and markings. "I think we should spend some time to find the items needed to defeat Strahd before storming his castle. Look - there are two other villages marked on the map - Vallaki and Krezk." He points at the two places on the map by Lake Zarovich and in the northwest corner of the map. "There are also two potential areas we can check near these villages. One is the small peninsula in Lake Baratok - perhaps that is a stronghold? I also notice that the hillock on the western edge of the map looks like a burial mound. If we head north and west, we can visit each of these locations in a circuit. If we do not find what we are looking for, at least we may find more clues. What do you think?"
Rajiira herself noted down all of what Eva was saying, even if she no longer held any affection for the woman at all.
