Rhogar will ask sut to fly into one of the nearby mushroom trees and watch over us while we sleep, instructing him to let out a loud screech to wake us if he sees anything.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bigsby takes note of what the “bad fungi” looks like and tries to scavenge other better looking mushrooms to have as food. Quite excitedly he goes to Stool “how do these look?”
“....don’t you eat mushrooms? ... do you eat? Did you have the soup? And yes delectable sprongy, moody mushrooms. Good for every meal, the five holds often fight over the fungal bowl when the tribes come together.”
"Hee hee. Stool is just teasing you. Stool eats mushrooms too." and he shows you which are bad for him and which ones are good. He can't promise they'll be the same for everyone.
Rhogar will whisper "Don't be suprised if Stool sprinkles some kind of mind eating spores in your nose while you sleep if you keep talking that way." Rhogar will then turn to stool and loudly say "I would much rather find some tasty bats to eat... I hear that they are the Chicken-of-the-cave.
Garruk grunts with amusement as he watches the byplay with the mushroom man, then says to Rhogar, “As entertaining as watching you try to find bats without a passage to the surface may be, that won’t be necessary. You still have the berry I gave you? That will provide you with more nourishment than an entire cave’s worth of bats.”
You all find an area where you can rest and work. Taking turns chopping down the Zurkhwood and stringing it ll together with rope. JimJar is surprising knowledgeable and offers plenty of helpful advice. The twins help by scurrying up the trunks and cutting off the tops of the giant mushrooms before you take down the trunk. Buppido and Shuusar take time to meditate between helping haul the trunks into place. Ront the orc mostly keeps to himself, offering to help lift some of the heavier loads. Stool offers as much positive encouragement as he can, taking the time to use his spores to allow all of you to communicate with him.
Rhogar during your chance to rest you get out your spellbook and go over the spells you have scrolled in here so far. You let your mind wander back to your days spent with your nose buried in a stack of books. And a memory comes back to you of a an old mage, a master of the Transmutation school of magic, who had been ranting in the library about different spells that he claims to have invented. You start scrawling out what you remember into your book before the memory fades.
Garruk you take your time to rest to commune with nature. It's difficult down here in this strange place, but you think back to your time out in the wilderness under the tutelage of Elder Nylea. You think about how no matter where you were, the forest, or the mountains, there was always the moon. You could look up and see the moon, or even feel its pull when it couldn't be seen. And how the animals in the wild hunt by the light of the moon and feel that same pull that you felt, and you feel those same animal instincts pumping through your veins now.
Bigsby you take some time to pray to Amaunator, thinking about how long it's been since you've seen the sun. It's so dark down here. You think about your home and how you long to return. You know that Amaunator's guiding light will show you the way, and help cast away some of the darkness down here.
Lucky plays a song to try to bolster the moods of his companions, and like many times in the past you discover that your music is somehow bolstered by a mysterious magical effect. Your playing and your words can help your friends, or hurt your enemies if used correctly. You make a mental note to yourself to test out some new songs in your next encounter.
Recwyin, this new land is harsh and unforgiving. You take some time during this rest to scout the area, learning the terrain, and familiarizing yourself with some or the fauna. This isn't the worst situation you've been in, and it won't get the best of you. You take some time get in some archery practice, hitting distant stalactites to get used to firing with so little wind, and constant dark. When you feel a bit better about your surroundings you settle down for a rest, dreaming of the hunt.
After 8 hours or so, you all have two good sized rafts that you've lashed together to allow for better movement. You have a few makeshift oars that you can use to travel across the dark waters.
Lucky stands up with Shawm in hand, makes his way towards Rhogar, and says to the group, "Let us resume our journey out of the abyss from whence we came, shall we?!"
Looking over at his 8-legged friend Leggy, and with what appears to be a little grin on the well-fed spider's furry, little face, Lucky knows that Leggy is also ready to continue their journey.
Garruk breaths in deeply, feeling the power of the moon fill his veins. He looks over his shoulder, expecting to see Nylea standing there with words of encouragement and wisdom. The dark cave and towering Zurkhwood mushrooms bring him back to his current situation, and he exhales, opening his eyes. He stands, ready to set out in the raft.
Recwyin will use primal awareness to sense whether any aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, or undead are present within 6 miles of the party.

Recwyin notices and looks to his little buddy for an opinion on the mushrooms Bigsby found.

"You...eat mushrooms?" Stool replies.
Not nice ones like you
Don't tell him that because he will encourage you to eat the BAD mushrooms then!

How's the raft coming?
**Just waiting for everyone to level up and then I'll tell you how the long rest goes.**

"Oh yeah" Rhogar will pull out the berry and eat it. "thanks" he will say with a small smile.

Recwyin climbs aboard ready to paddle, hopefully toward the village.
Rhogar will send out Sut, asking him to fly ahead of the raft to warn us of upcoming dangers
