Lucky speaks now with exasperation, "You could have spoken to Leggy--urm--Lord Belquinaious--what did you say his name was?!  The whole time you could have spoken to him?!  Recwyin!!!" At the end of that rhetorical question, Lucky throws up his hands to exaggerate his point. "Please don't misunderstand.  I'm grateful to you, for now I know this little lord, of whom I've made many a one-sided conversations mind you, is of royal blood!" Lucky then turns his head towards where Leggy---urm--Lord Belquinas has called home during this adventure, and says, "My lord, do you understand my language?  If so, please know that your companionship has brought me great happiness and your safe return home is now one of my priorities." Lucky then glances over at Recwyin, pleading for a translation.

"I will attempt to inquire  about the beast,"  and Leggy skitters down Lucky's body and disappears into a small crevice.

Also you see a little bit of blood in the water but no corpse floats to the surface, and you can't see the fish anymore.

I'm truly sorry for not thinking of this sooner. Allow me to make amends. Recwyin translates as needed before peering under the water again to request information from the fish. anyone still down here? Sorry for that but I clearly told him not to bite.i just need information if anyone is around. 

Rhogar will attempt to start a small fire if he can find any scraps of wood like material while making shapes in it with control flames as he waits until night fall

Recwyin - You stick you head back under water and start talking to the fish again, you can't make out the fish anymore, but you hear faintly "Hunggrryyy.."

Rohgar will wait until the lady goes to sleep, then use control flames to dim the fire so it does not scare away any beasts.

Something is down there and it didn't sound like fish. All I heard was it saying "hungry", hopefully Leggy-hes ok with that nickname,  brings us useful information.  Perhaps we can use our nets, rope, and spears to devise a trap or two maybe over the garden and on the trail back to the water.

"Whatever it is is capable of leaving the water and stealing her mushrooms... maybe we leave a trail of mushrooms away from the water and attack it on land?"

Recwyin will begin making a weighted net trap over the entrance to the mushroom garden. 

After some thought he rings a net to a tripline(made from some of his rope) and adds weight in the form of rocks to the nets corners to help secure it on impact.  Additionally he dips his spear in the drow poison and secures it like a pendulum to swing into the net and whatever it catches.   Alright some of you into the boat out of sight,  the rest of us take up hiding positions ready to swoop in.

Lucky opts for a hiding position.  He's kinda sick of being on a boat.

Rhogar will take up position on the boat I guess.. he can launch ranged attacks from there and dive into the water after the creature if needed. He will also cast alter self at the first sign of a creature and give himself water breathing so that he doesn't have to do it in the middle of a fight if needed.

Garruk will also return to the boat. For the first hour, he will be dozing and taking a short rest since the option has presented itself. He’ll then wait with Rhogar, Ice Knife ready on his lips.

An hour goes by, nothing happens. Rhogars altered state wears off and he reverts back to normal. Another hour goes by. Then a couple more.

***I didn't want to use it until I saw the creature, kind of like a readied action if possible.***

I wanted to wait and use alterself to give the the aquatic mode when I saw a creature show up but I can burn it early, no big deal lol

Rhogar will lay down on the raft and stick his head in the water to see if anything is down there.  6

Recwyin has begun to wonder if the old lady was on to something.  Maybe the creature won't come if someone is up.  But he knows he heard something, not a fish, say hungry.  Was it this beast? He thinks and tries to remember if Lord Leggy gathered any information before the spell were off. Hmm.....

Taking stock Recwyin decides to stay and wait. In the morning if the beast hasn't come he can take a nap before seeing if his friends want to pursue the beast or continue on in the boat.
