Alijurn tugs the hood down a little. "My first day as a fugitive from the law. It is awful, to say the least. Do you have any suggestions on how we are going to proceed? When i was in the force we didn't exactly have to sneak around to find out about the criminals. Neither were we considered criminals.."

"I imagine you could find out a fair bit about those criminals by employing a bit of subtlety." Dahme'dre replies. "The same investigative principles should apply here as on the force. We'll start by looking for clues at the scene of the crime, I imagine. We'll also want to get ahold of that footage. It may contain some useful evidence yet. We may also want to visit the Governor's manor, and we should be able to find out where he lived prior to his political appointment..." She thinks a moment longer and adds, "We may even want to visit a library. There's always more going on there than we suspect."
(Is there anywhere Dahme'dre would know to visit? History: (1)6)
With all the chaos thatâs been happening, you canât think of anything too specific. However, you listed off some excellent choices and get the feeling that those would be the best locations to visit. With your roll, you are aware of at least where the murder took place. It was toward the center of city where a stage had been assembled outside of what is essentially city hall.
Additionally, it is around now that you hear a knock on the door and what sounds like Mr. Bridgewayâs voice call, âGood morning, just letting you know breakfast is ready if youâd like any. Feel free to come down and get some.â You then hear the footsteps walk off. Seems that the day is getting started.

Grabbing a few rolls, strips of bacon, sausages, and etc. you three swiftly make your way out the door. Ashe, in the meantime, has fashioned a disguise almost as good as yours, Dahmeâdre. Using her veil and a few stitches to hold everything in place, she has managed to make herself look decidedly Not-Ashe-ish. You send Mon off into the heavens to scout out a lay of the area. As you make your way to the center of the city, he doesnât detect any malice or anything really out of the ordinary. Really, much of it seems to be a people saddened by an act of terrifying tragedy. The crime scene, meanwhile, is completely silent, aside from the guards that are patrolling the area. The large wooden stage that covers most of the city square is still covered in decorations, banners, and... well, blood. At the centerpoint of the stage is the podium where the governor was attacked. Meanwhile, two sets of small stairs flank both sides of the stage where one could walk up onto the stage. The front portion is flat and draped in a colorful banner.

Dahme'dre looks through her bag and pulls out her notebook and a pen, she carries them and jots down everything she sees trying to look real official and important. She has a fair bit of practice at that. "Let's see what's come of your time on the force." She challenges Alijurn.
She steps up to the stage and examines the surrounding area very critically, before stepping onto the platform and searching for anything pertinent.
Mondra'goran hangs in the shade of a beam overhead watching for trouble.
There is a lot to take in at the moment, itâs hard to pick where to begin. However, the first thing that grabs your notice are footprints leading up to the stage. Three sets, three assailants. However, the feet are barefoot, with two humanoid and one reptilian.

Alijurn follows, doing his best on interpreting his disguise It looks as though Alijurn has been injured before and has used at least a crutch, somewhat similar to a cane. As they arrive at the scene he pulls the cloak a little bit down and nods in acknowledgement to Dee's challenge. He pulls out a cup from his backpack and has it at the ready on his side, to pull up and pretend to be a beggar if anyone approaches. While shambling over to the steps he holds his hand on his hips, it glows with a dull blueish silver for 3 seconds as he casts Enhance ability on himself (Fox's cunning) As he reaches the prints he stops and pretends his foot is aching while investigating the prince.
Investigation: (w. adv and his own Guidance) 10 + 3 = 20
As you kneel down, you feel your ki focus into your eyes as everything seems so much clearer. Time seems to slow down as you take in all the details. The footprints lead up the stage toward the podium. They all converge at that point. After that, they split into three different directions: West, Northwest, and East. However, you pick something up. The humanoid footprints seem to change size. In fact, they seem more masculine as they trail off. The reptilian footprints, meanwhile, change completely. They fade off into human prints.

It is worth noting that once they leave the square, the trial gets considerably fainter due to the amount of people. It would be considerably harder to track them.
Dahme'dre drops a button in Alijurn's cup and pats him on the shoulder, giving him Guidance so he can concentrate on other things. She keeps an eye on him and keeps aiding him when it seems appropriate.

The guard seems taken aback by all of your questions, however tries to answer them as best he can.
