Pagan pulls the arrow from his side with a snarl. His teeth shine with a grimace of pain. "I am sorry Master," he murmurs quietly as he grasps his side. "I've had worse," he lies. "Let's go rescue the hostages."
Around the corner Zerys sees a 10-foot wide dark passage that only goes for 20 feet or so before turning sharply left. The cries for help are definitely coming from somewhere down this passage.
Javon believes the party should follow the cries for help as well, so that just leaves Brumdal to yay or nay.
If Brumdal decides not to follow the fleeing hobgoblin archer, then we will drop out of initiative ... but, keep in mind that Brumdal's Thunderous Smite just made a lot of noise, so time will be of the essence...
Markas still has plenty of arrows (I actually went back and counted and updated my equipment), so he's going to press on down the passage towards the voices.
I'm assuming no one is dashing, because you are moving cautiously through the caves and want to be able to react to any dangers. Based on that this is everyone's position in relation to each other at the end of this round:
Brumdal is backtracking toward the room where the battle with Blue Nose began. At the end of the round he is at the same point in the hallway where the illusion of himself is (the one Amar created). If Brumdal were to dash, he would start to make it down the slanting passageway where you initially pursued the hobgoblin archers.
Markas and Javon had hung back behind the melee, so they are about six seconds behind Amar, Pagan, and Zerys. If they wanted to dash, they could keep pace with them. As it stands now Markas is near where the two whip-bearing hobgoblins were taken out and Javon is a few steps behind him.
Amar, Pagan, and Zerys move down the passageway toward the cries for help. After the left turn, the passage continues another 20 feet or so before turning back right and then left again into a chamber that is hauntingly lit by a central firepit. You are all at the point where you can see clearly into this room---there is no door. The entrance is 10 feet wide and reveals a 40 feet by 20 feet room. Near the firepit are two sturdy chairs and a table covered with what looks like metal objects. Hanging from the far wall are six humanoids all struggling against their chains and calling more loudly to you now that they can see you.

Zerys will move to peek around the corner, taking cover ss needed

@Markas, what do you want to do?
Markas carefully, but quickly, moves toward the voices.
@Amar, what do you want to do?
Follow to the voices, Zerys will keep pace with the party
@Brumdal, what do you want to do?

(Bwhahahahahaha...)
I agree - rescue the prisoners!
Brumdal would like to take a few minutes and retrieve his javelins first.
Retrieving javelins, darts, arrows, etc. will take you back the way you came.
Does anyone else want to go with Brumdal?
I'd press to fling open the door.
Markas still has plenty of arrows (I actually went back and counted and updated my equipment), so he's going to press on down the passage towards the voices.
I will assume that Brumdal is alone as he recovers his javelins...
And the last thing everybody ever hears Brumdal say..."I'll just be a minute..." Hopefully not!

Markas and Javon are also in a good position where they could cover the passageway in the direction that last hobgoblin fled.
Pagan will investigate the table. Any keys for shackles there? Anything else useful?
