(are you going to lay them out so everyone can see or read them out loud? there are three of them and they are dated and I will provide the information in order. As you open them you can tell that they are all written by the same person, and signed with the same signature but the most recent letter is a little more messy and appears to have water damage)
(I would read each one and then put the letters down for others to read if they like and they weren't too private. Otherwise I'd summarize what they were to the group and hide the letters until we found the woman)
Mo looks skeptically at Sayre and her suggestion, but tries dipping the meat into his cup. After taking a bite he says very flatly, "You are a food genius. Mo appreciates this gift of knowledge that you have given him."
**After dinner Mo would wash the dwarf faced mug and put it on a shelf where anyone could use it. He also finds like a wooden bowl and places it on the same shelf with the speaking stone in it, to amplify the sound, if it happens to speak later.**
"You're welcome big guy," Sayre replies. "Oh uh bedrooms mostly," she answers Thimbol after he sits. "Find anything interesting," she asks next as Thimbol settles looking over at the letters
Glancing over the letters, "Uh, there's a pretty big chest in the basement I could try to open after dinner. Pretty serious combination... unless anyone found some numbers? I don't think much else. "
I waited for you to arrive for two days before I had to leave and get something to eat and drink. I kept checking and rechecking the date to make sure that today was the day that you were going to get me... to bring me to your inn... You sent me a message with your stone saying that you would be departing shortly and when I tried contacting you the next day... the stone was not with you. I will keep trying to message you with the stone and I hope to see you soon. By the time you read this I hope to have already heard from you and long to feel the comfort of your touch. I look forward to working and living with you at your well renouned inn... I pray to the gods that nothing has happened to you... and that perhaps you merely lost your stone and your cart suffered a broken wheel or axle on the way here and I will see your face soon enough... I love you.

It has been a week and I have heard no word from you. My love for you still burns as bright as it always has and I pray that you are safe and that you still love me. I fear that without you in my life my parents may do something drastic. Morgan, you are a wonderful amazing, well respected dwarf and now that they believe that you no longer want me... they think hat.. perhaps.... no dwarf of renown would ever want me. They are trying very hard to try to save face... to show that their daughter is worthy of a respectable Dwarf, but they do not care of my feelings.. they do not care about my love.. my love for you that will never end.. and I know you feel the same way. Please Morgan... Please come back to me.

I am writing this letter sitting beneath OUR tree... I stole a horse and rode as fast as I could. I needed to see you, to know what happened to you... it has been a month since I sat beneath the statue of Moradin waiting for your arrival... And now here I am again. Crying under this tree near where we both engraved our initials... staring at the front door of your inn... hoping and praying that you will walk out those doors. My parents are trying to get me to marry Thrak... I will not do it.. the man is wretched and cruel.... My parents tell me that he better than what I deserve for driving you away.. and that marrying him is the only way for our family to stay in good standing.. to stay relevent in Stormhammer.. well.. you used call me the woman behind the man... or the arm behind the hammer... The source of your strength.... If my parents go through with this wedding... they will see that strength.. I will Kill Thrak and anyone else that would force me to follow anything but my heart... my heart.. that belongs to you.
"Oh," Sayre says visibly upset, "that's so...sad," she adds frowning as she puts down the last letter having read it. "These don't belong here," she adds picking them up and going outside.
One by one she reads the letters aloud over Morgan's grave. She then moves some fresh earth aside and puts them in. Sayre says another prayer to the Traveler before returning to the inn. "I think...the lizard man can wait," she adds going upstairs to her room.

Lorarila will listen to Sayre reading the letters and watching her buries them, "Such a sad fate. Too bad no amount of magic can fix a tragic death and a broken heart." Avoids the cooking food because something inside warns her off, and goes to Thimbol. "Thim, there is a chest in the master bedroom I would like you to look AT. It might have some nice things inside it, but I dont have clever fingers like you do to tickle locks open."
Thimbol looked over to Lorarila as he swirls about his cup of mayonnaise while waiting for the rat and spider stew. Never once seeing himself in this position. "I could take a look at that too if we don't have a key for that chest either "
"I just thought with your skills it would be faster then using a key, our Expert Lockpick. I will ask Sayre later, I think they should have some time alone. Those letters broke my heart and I want to cheer up. Where you from Thimbol?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Not sure how much Navek got of that, seeing as how he was cookign up a storm. So, I'm going to rp appropriately.
Quality of Soup: 12. Quality of Kabobs: 10. Quality of Burgers: 10.
Navek eventually comes out looking pretty smug as he takes a deep wiff of his soup in one hand. It was not quite perfect; but, the smell and look of it made it a solid eight out of ten on the goodness level. Though when he looks to the charred mess of rat burgers and kabob in the other for the third time, he just shakes his head in disappointment before addressing the group.
"One of you remind to get more seaso-ning?" He raises a brow at any glum looks. He starts to open his mouth to ask, but thinking better of it, chooses to just take a seat at the table and chow down. Of what food and "drink" was left to him, he pushes all but the latter aside to add to one of his burgers.

Pouring some of the soup into a bowl, Thimbol didn't question what it was if someone else was making it. "You flatter me, Lorarila." Stating in between bites. "Oh, Navek. I found some letters from Loretta to Morgan. Something about her love and waiting for him. I think she got married off because he never responded or something. " Shrugging some. "Good soup"
"Ah, that explains a few things... and complicate a few others."Navek gives a small but appreciative grin. "But thanks."He then spends the rest of the evening eating and contemplating the food situation (among OTHER things now) until either sleep calls him, or someone asks for his assistance.

The chest does have a normal lock on it.. the kind that takes a key... like what is hanging on the keychain that Sayre has
