"One of these guys hit me with a crossbow, went right through me," Mo will point at his wound, "I didn't even feel it! Well, actually, I was feeling extra good after breakfast, and then after I got hit I just felt regular again."Mo will get a bit more serious, "Guys, for real, don't go in the woods by yourselves, we should come up with a buddy system. None of us should go anywhere at all without a buddy. Also, when did we want to go talk to this new prisoner? Did you guys know I got a second BSer? Today has been so confusing for me, I can't remember who I have and haven't spoke to."
"Stop," Sayre will exclaim interrupting the table chit-chat. "I guess I am going to have to come out and just say it! I think Thimbol is keeping secrets. The funny talk with the lizard man and how he dodges the subject when we've given him ample opportunity to tell us," Sayre says curtly looking at everyone before looking back at Thimbol. "BSers, wolves, and Loretta can wait! I want a straight answer! What did you discuss with him down there," she will demand now rising from her seat at the table her hands at her sides. "We were all there. We heard you talking about something. It might have been gibberish to some but I've lived on the road my entire life until a couple of months ago. I know shady talk when I hear it," she adds next.
OOC: To be fair Sayre doesn't speak or read thieves chant but being exposed to thieves, in general, an intelligent creature would know something was up like I said before. I won't use intimidation or persuasion on a party member unless you think it warrants it Wreck!

"Of course I'm keeping secrets. We're all keeping secrets. Who are you to judge any of us? No one here knows anyone next to the other, but you're the only one with the issue so maybe you're the problem."
Thimbol shifted about in his seat, tucking his hands into his coat. "If you think I was saying something that didn't seem right, whatever I say now you don't know if I'm telling the truth anyways. So what's the point? You're look for a specific answer and unless I say it you won't care.
Pulling out a bag, the halfling would toss it to Lorarila, "Navek said you could make use of that. Sapphire, diamond, and ruby of the war mage" Hand going back into his coat. Thimbol sat listening to Mo for a bit.
also... I think the way I determined the amount of HP you get from the meal is take the roll you got from cooking and devide it by 4... then add your constitution modifier I think... let me know if I did it differently before but I think that is how I am going to do it going forward and if you guys upgrade your kitchen the amount of HP will go up.
"I have no secrets," Sayre replies. "Ask me anything," she added opening up her hands to the group. (I'm open to insight checks y'all; seriously Sayre's not hiding a thing). "I would hope to bring it up with the group might compel you to be forthcoming," she adds curtly. "No more shady talk when I am around. I am warning you now," she adds her expression hard. "I see handing out gifts is another diversion! Your past will catch up with you Thimbol just make sure we're not in the crossfire when it does," she'll add sitting back down and finishing her meal.
Taking the jewels, and especially the Ruby feeling special. "Sayre. Not all of us are so open, if you don't have secrets then I am proud of you and how you have lived. Sadly, we aren't all so lucky." Looking at Thimbol, "Thim, I know secrets. It is okay, just promise you won't stab us in the back and I will trust you completely. If you ever want a friend or company, just find me. Anything shared with me will be kept confidential, that goes for everyone." Looking around at everyone, "If you need to talk, please let me help. I am probably the least useful at the moment. I can't hit, I can't defend and I am not clever. I can study and research with the right resources, and my magic is sub par but I am growing stronger. I will listen to you all, just hope you will do the same."
Thimbol raised a brow at Sayre's antics, but wasn't going to feed into it. "Just don't tell me what to do and I'll offer you the same courtesy." Pushing himself up from his chair and landing on the floor. "I'm not really feeling up to hunting any blood scales today." Glancing to Lorarila, "Thank you, Lorarila." Smiling slightly before looking away. "So unless someone wants to be my travel buddy, I got some other errands to run. "
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Trying to discredit Sayre's honest efforts to the others with gaslight tactics and words like 'antics' is not going to sit well with me. RP how you want but my PCs reasons to mistrust yours are VALID. Your PC did shady shite consequences are consequences.
"We all have secrets? That's your response?" Sayre adds her tone exasperated then sighs before looking to the halfling with a fanged grimace. "I gave you a warning. I did not tell you what to do. You'd be wise to learn the difference," she adds punctuating her words with her finger getting up from the table and heading downstairs to look at the grandfather clock that was mentioned.
Sayre knows Smoke is looking for one and it going to see if it's the one he described. Investigate it I guess? 16
OOC: Wreck I'm starting to hear Flint's fart noises everytime I roll now, THANKS! lol
Navek pinches the bridge of his nose and just shakes his head. "Diamond and Ruby, yes, not the sapphire. That was for you to decide as far as... That doesn't matter now."The goliath sits up in his seat, having dragged his hand down across his face and beard. Just as he was gearing up to clear his throat and say something, Lora beats him to the punch. And... he did not mind after hearing what she had to say. He gave her proud grin and a side hug for good measure.
Again, he had been about ready to say something after giving Lora the good 'ol one-armed side hug. But then Sayre spoke, giving him first pause, and then resulting in his just sighing and rubbing his forehead. "... Listen Thimbol. I personally don't right care one way or another. It's like Lora said. So long as you do not stab us in the back, or endanger the town or its people, things are good. And if and when you feel ready to talk, you let someone know. I've worked with my fair share of... less say less than reputable folk. So, I know how it can be personally. Now if you excuse me, I... someone should go check on the little Satyr." He rises from his seat, gives the remaining group at large a nod, and then looks to Mo.
"Big guy had a point though. If your not feeling up to it, Lora, Mo? Mind going with him?" He says. And if Thimbol tries to sneak away before someone is with him, Navek is gonna try to grab him and hold him up in the air until the matter is settled.

(Geez Amazing, walk away or something. You're taking this way too personal as you try to attack me every chance you get. My character is going to rp and respond how he feels your character is acting. And vice versa. You're free to metagame and poke holes in the one useless ability the rogue gets but I'm not going to play along with your incessant need to harass thimbol without concrete proof. No one else seems to care. Just rp the game and quit bringing ooc into it. It's a waste and a huge drag.
Wrex is killing it with this homebrew and not taking any sides. I don't want to leave this as it's been super enjoyable. Shaz cracks me up, fallen is super sweet and regardless what I say about Ranmilo I dragged him in to join this with me.
Coming back upstairs Sayre says nothing else to the party and leaves the Inn going to Smoke's to tell him about the clock and invite him to come to look at it too.
OOC: Sorry Ran it's hard to have a disagreement and wait for others to post.

Watch me! >:D He never did tell the whole story about what happened with the guy and his boots of speed...
Also, it's all good Double A. I just need to keep it shorter in the future to better simulate heated moments. Poor Mo though.
"Hey, Sayre. I was just -- and she's gone. For the love of --"Navek huffs and looks to the others. "You two. Work something out. But don't let Mo go off on his own." He says before rushing out the door after the Sayre.

"Well, looks like we're traveling buddies now." Mo says to Lorarila, "Thimbol left without a buddy though, we should fix that." and Mo gets up from the table.
If it was still early enough, Thimbol was in no rush to make it to the mayor's, allowing anyone that wanted to catch up to do so, though he wouldn't wait. He had something to discuss with Mayor Higgins before sunset and then something else to see to after that. Busy day for the halfling.

So Thimbol left the inn alone, and then shortly after Sayre left to see Smoke with Navek running after. So what are Mo and Lorarila doing?
Thimbol would make his way to the mayor.
"Well, looks like we're traveling buddies now." Mo says to Lorarila, "Thimbol left without a buddy though, we should fix that." and Mo gets up from the table.
(Nuts, almost got away)
"We should." Gets up to follow Mo, "What a team, what a team. At least we are all passionate, better that then bland and uninterested huh?"
If it was still early enough, Thimbol was in no rush to make it to the mayor's, allowing anyone that wanted to catch up to do so, though he wouldn't wait. He had something to discuss with Mayor Higgins before sunset and then something else to see to after that. Busy day for the halfling.
