"Still doesnt explain what you were doing here. And why. " Wezroth said simply. he stood up and crossed his arms. He'd like to know if anyone was after his quarry.
Wijen notices the rather accusatory nature and grins a bit. "Seems you have separate reason to hunt these beasts. Would be good for the town if we all did as well. We simply wanted to return the bones in order to continue protecting the town. Or at least that's what the priest wanted us to do. That being said I have a gift for you, what was your name again?"
"Wezroth. I'm a witcher. I make my living hunting these monsters. " He said simply. The witcher doubted the adventurers were helping out of the kindness of their hearts. Few were so pure hearted. He remained wary of the gift the grung had for him.
"Ahhh, this makes sense. Perhaps you are more open to this gift than the others here have been, being so different after all." Wijen presents the Witcher with a small wooden spoon. "So tell me, what makes this spoon special in this world of ours?"
Wijen smiles wryly. "It's always a delight to see someone that understands the basics of our world, but does not see the connections or beauty of it. You would make a fine pupil for Zen."
The Witcher shook his head. "That life isnt for me. This life is all I know, and all I will ever know. Service to a god or the study of magic is not my purpose in life. I am what I am, a witcher, A monster hunter. Nothing more, nothing less." He said. Wezroth had his own opinions about politics, the nature of mankind, and possibly even the nature of the universe. He dabbled in philosophy occasionally. but only when it involved his work. In the end, he was still a mutant who was raised to kill monsters.
Wijen smiles again. "There is no magic or service in Zen. Just a training of the mind to see the truths and make quick, but wise decisions without doubt. Perfect for your work."
"Good for you. I think I'll stick to my work and my code. I make decisions just fine. " He said. He knelt down and sniffed some of the dirt that was left from the crates, to see if he could distinguish a scent to follow. "The longer we spend talking the harder it's going to be to track them. If we can find their lair we'll be able to set traps and properly prepare. " he said. ((I wish to continue to track the the vampire spawn))
Zander pipes up after watching the two exchange pleasantries. "I vote we DON'T follow the vampires. We were nearly killed by them, I honestly don't know why that guy called them off, we were as good as dead, and I think we need more than just one more person to come out on top of that one. We need to get these bones back to the church so they can keep the mist away."

Wezroth looked over at the halfling. "If we at least find their lair, we;ll be prepared the next time we face them. Either way, they need to be taken care of. We should have our weapons silvered before we face them next. And ensure that we have the element of surprise." He said. The Witcher would never charge in to fight the vampires without adequate preparation. "Whats this about mist?" he asked.
"Well, We're not completely sure, but the residents here seem to think bad things come from it, and the bones at the church were a relic that was magically keeping it away from the town. That is until the undertaker that owns this place removed them, probably at the behest of the head vampire himself."

Lae groans as he pushes his orcish weight up off the wooden floor, "We need to do both.. first return the bones, then better armaments, then kill those devils... nobody knocks me down and gets to go on harassing innocents..."
Wezroth nodded. "The trail might go cold. thats what I'm worried about. If they're nearby theyll feed tonight. We could attempt to track them then, but I'd rather find their lair when they arent inside and set up traps." he said thinking. "We'll need to see what opportunities present themselves. Lets deal with these bones first, then we can get supplies. I feel naked without a silver sword." He said.
"They'll have the same reaction to poison as the average human would. But their main weaknesses are Holy water and sunlight. If we drive wooden stakes into their hearts in their resting place they should die instantly. They are resistant to nonmagical weapons, hence the silver." He said. "And before you ask, garlic is just a myth. They just dont like it when you put too much garlic in their food, like any reasonable person." he said.

Wezroth looked at the spoon, assuming it was some kind of metaphor, or some magical object. "Beats me." He said with a shrug.

Wijen nods and asks "I am unaware of the anatomy of these beings, would you happen to know if poisons affect them?"
((Do I have to roll for knowledge of monsters or can i just be granted that due to my background?))
Nature Roll : 13 + 5= 20
(Poison does seem to affect them somehow.)
