Stanimir shows the first real bit of real negative emotion you have seen from him--a slightly angry hopelessness. "Did you not hear what I said? It is under the castle itself! How can you possibly hope to reach it without alerting HIM to your presence?"
"Stanimir has a good point... maybe we should find the wizard's tower, or the wandering Vistana, before getting too close to the devil's quarters. One of them may be able to aid us in the fight, or at least provide us with more guidance than some crone and her card tricks."
Alright. I made a list of the 5 cards she drew and what she told us about them. The wizard's tower on a lake seems the most straightforward and easiest to find. Should we start there or go back and see what the deal is with Moaning Mary first?

“I almost forgot about dear Mary, since the noise subsided. I think we should go back and investigate, maybe helping the townsfolk there will gain us some trust that can be used to find the wizards tower.”
"Yes lets camp here in the cursed lands. Weill we are resting how do you guys feel about my rage, i was not always like this. Just a smqll boy you found out that my uncle was going to kill me to get power and so i went in and stole that power and killed him instead. But i was blinded by rage and went on a killing spree after all said and done i single handedly destroyed my town. That is what haunts me at night. That and my power i should never have but i will do what is needed to protect my friends. You guys are my first friends. Just, ... if you do decide to kill me atlest give me a good burial."
“Kill you? That’s a tad dramatic Necros. The Raven Queen alone knows when it is your time to die. We have no say in that. Until that time.. you are my friend as well.. I suspect at least one aspect of all of our pasts is unsavory and that we all carry some burden on our shoulders.”
For the most part, the watches are uneventful, other than a couple of exceptions I'm the early watch and the late watch.
Lae, during your watch, you are lost to your own thoughts (though not deep enough to compromise your watch), when you suddenly see the mists begin to swirl, then coalesce into a humanoid form. A tall, slender woman with flowing black hair and pale, porcelain skin wearing a blank porcelain mask steps from the mists. With a caw, a raven flies down from a nearby tree and lights on her left shoulder. From this, she appears solid. As she moves closer, you can see red irises through the eyeholes of the mask. After she clears the mists, a bit of shadowy energy seems to radiate around her.
"You have returned. This is for the good. I despise undeath, as you know from our previous meetings. There is an undead monster here, as I am sure you have heard. I know that which you seek. Gain the power to destroy this monster and I may name you my champion. For my champion, who can say what can be done? I must go now as your time is coming to an end. I will be watching you closely."
She turns and walks back into the mists, fading from view as she continues deeper.
Embir, during your watch, you also have somewhat of a "visit". Near the middle of your watch, just past the first line of trees, therefore very visible, you see a figure walking along seemingly unafraid. He is tall and lean, with dark hair. He is dressed rather well, the cut and quality of his clothes and boots suggesting nobility or even royalty. Just as he reaches the last tree, he gazes into your eyes, his own eyes smoldering. The gaze lasts mere seconds, but feels much longer. He finally breaks it and turns to walk deeper into the forest.

“So.. let me get this straight.. we need to venture into some catacombs and talk to a corpse?” Lae asks through gritted teeth.

Let's head out then, as long as everyone is in agreeance. Stanimir, are you coming back into town, or staying here with your ken?

"Sadly, I must stay. I am needed here. But please, rest. It is growing late. Perhaps things will be more clear in the morning."
Yeah, You're right, It's late. Let's turn in.

“Sleep sounds good, but remember friends this is a cursed land” Lae warns the group.

"Thank you, that was waighing on my sholders for a while now."
Lae simply nods his head.
You finally find your way to the area set aside for you to sleep. A loaner tent has been set up by the Vistani for your use.
(Setting watches, letting the Vistani handle security, or don't care?)
Not trusting the people, or the land Lae volunteers for the first watch. “I could use some time alone anyway,” he mutters.
I'll take a watch, never trust a firewatch you are not apart of.
I'll go after you, brother.

"I am good to go on watch when you guys need"
(Embir last watch then?)
