There is no response to Zander's calls, not even a slight pause in the sobbing. Zennas, the only thing you see is a small hole in the kitchen wall, about the size of a small animal that goes outside.
“You only die once if you’re lucky Zander... if your unlucky, well..” Lae says as he passes the others on the stairs and steps into the threshold of the door on the right.
You enter what appears to be a child's room, a few toys against one wall, a small dresser against another. The smell of someone who has not washed in a while assaults your nose. In the center of the floor sits at dirty woman in brown with a tan scarf covering her head, tear streaks through the dirt on her cheeks. She is clutching a malformed doll, and doesn't stir or stop sobbing at your entrance.
Embir, upon seeing the woman on the floor, immediately rushes past Zander to her side. Kneeling down and putting a hand on her shoulder, she speaks as softly as possible.
Embir gives Lae a quick glare but turns back to focus on the woman, scooting herself closer and keeping her tone gentle as she continues speaking.
"They were very dear to you weren't they? So young, and precious. They should have still been here with you. And that is the worst feeling, isn't it? Knowing it wasn't their time and feeling so helpless as they were taken from you."
As she is talking, a dog comes bounding into the room, jumps on the bed, sniffs at the pillow, wags its tail, walks in a circle and lays down. Mary pays no attention to the dog.
Embir pauses at the stairway. "I think- maybe, do we just go on up? They sound really upset."
Zennas enters the house with daggers drawn, keeping a keen eye out for traps, treasure, and secret doors.

Embir hesitates a second before shrugging. "Well, you only live once I suppose." She starts up the stairs to the next floor.
Ha, ha. You die once, too.

Upstairs you come into a short hallway with a door on each side, both doors are open, the sobbing sems to be coming from the room on the right.

"Ma'am, I'm so sorry for your loss."
She seems to let up a bit at your touch.
“Careful Embir!” Lae almost yells, his voice filled with concern for his fellow party member.
At your comment, she stiffens and begins sobbing uncontrollably again.
Zander looks on, waiting to see if Embir's approach will work, but keeps bow in hand in case trickery is afoot.

Necros, you don't notice anything wrong in the room. It does seem to be the best kept room in the house, looking mostly clean.
Embir, she begins rocking back and forth a bit. "Gone....Gertruda...gone...broke out.......disappeared...."
Is their anthing of value in the room
Embir moves her arm around the woman's shoulders slowly and carefully.
"Your, Gertruda, was kidnapped? Someone broke out and took her away from you. Is that what happened?"
Nothing of value in this room.
"Tried...to keep....her hidden...she grew....she left...."
