"I understand only a bit of what you said and had to guess the rest. But it was like listening to someone with a really bad accent. And all your words sounded negative to me..." She said, her quick temper just as soon to cool off, especially when praised. "And most Kenku learn Auran as a first language, we being blessed beings of air. It's closer to what our true voices once were!" Leaves continued in pompous tones.
"Dialects aside, my point still stands. We should go to the Watch and resign, and then get some extra supplies for this job. Something to help cover up who we are would be good. I'd also like to pick up some fun tricks, in case we do need to take Locke back ourselves," Jevyn said, checking in with Esme, still in owl form, to see if he could spot anything near the Watchtower.
Perception: 21 (Advantage from owl's keen hearing and sight.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"That's weird. I figured there would be more happening around the Watchtower, but it's almost empty." Jevyn said aloud, still blind and deaf to his senses. "Seabeak, guide me. I'm going to use Esme to see where everyone's at." Esme wheeled around over the group, scanning the city for the greatest area of population density.
Though it is well past 10:00 p.m., the city is alive and bustling. Merchants, craftsmen, priests, and civilians jostle and shove each other in the packed streets and shops.
In the dungeon, Riggs glares at Shiv and Atlas. "You've done your part, now scram."
Though dissatisfied with the lack of attention from commanding officers, he will take his leave with Shiv. "I do not like this. There is a lack of authority in the tower to see that justice is done. "
"I agree friend... I fear that once someone does question him.. he will have had plenty of time to build a case and pin us as the bad guys"The viashino will say with a small snarl.
Upon exiting the Watchtower, Shiv and Atlas nearly collide with the essentially blind Jevyn as he scries through the eyes of Esme. Leaves and Tak stand some way behind.
Coming out of his trance, Jevyn addressed the party as a whole. "After Seabeak, Tak, and I finish this up, we should get some rest before we take on this mission tonight. I'm going to go looking for some supplies that we can maybe make use of, but I am a little short on coin at the moment. Anyone is welcome to come with."
Jevyn heads off into The Central District, also known as the Market District due to it's congregation of merchants, traders, and shops of all varieties. Among the shops, stalls, and assorted buildings and residencies people compete to outsell, outbuy, and outwit the opposition and secure the best deal.
Shiv would have gone to sleep and made sure he was awake and fed before reporting for duty at the watch. I assume Atlas would have been with him the whole time since they are room mates?

"Works for me" Tak will says as they make their way to the tower.
The Watchtower seems deserted, aside from the odd guard.

Shiv would turn to the guard in the prison and ask "So where is everyone?"
"That riot you just returned from was priority A. All hands on deck and all that." The man grunts, turning away in dismissal.

Shiv will walk with Atlas and make his way towards the inn to get some rest before his early AM shift starts.

"Hey guys, we stopped a riot I think...maybe some murders too... what have you all been up to today?" Shiv will say to the others.
"Well..." Tak begins and explains the past few hours occurrences to Shiv and Atlas. "..so tonight's mission will be interesting."

Jevyn looked around the market stalls, looking for lantern oil, ball bearings, and rope. "Now seems as good a time as any to go and try that thing..."
[What is with these rolls?]
Shiv would have gone to sleep and made sure he was awake and fed before reporting for duty at the watch. I assume Atlas would have been with him the whole time since they are room mates?
Tak will go back to the cowardly lion and rest for a bit before they start their mission.
