Atlas stomps along through the streets, watching Shiv zip around from person to person, scaring some, annoying others. Leaves is squawking at that as usual. Jevyn has run off somewhere....this Atlas liked the least. It set him on edge, missing a member of the crew. Still, he was with the bulk of them. This will do. Before he even knows it, an hour passes and they stand before a seedy looking bar..perhaps THIS is what Locke meant by 'Dive'. From the use of the word, Dive seems negative and this place, to Atlas, seems negative. "Locke, is this a Dive? This looks worse than The Cowardly Lion. "
Before Locke can answer though, one of the door guards blocks their way while the other ducks inside. Not too much longer they are given access, revealing what Atlas assumes to be a very Dive-y interior. He scans the area, looking at the figures in hooded cloaks. Suspicious. Yet on they push, into the back, into a room that looks far different than the bar. "Corpse..." Atlas rumbles. He gives the two bodyguards steady, long glances, an then turns his attention to the large man. "This place seems disreputable."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shiv will laugh with a hiss and turn to Altas, "Yeah man, this is definitially a dive." he will say with his hands on his swords while looking around the room for exits and enemies.

Locke pulls his hand back quickly and puts it on his lapel mirroring his other hand.
"Let me introduce myself, I am Locke Starblade. You may have heard of me." Locke looks up and to his side showing them his profile while he pulls out his labels in a dignified pose. "My friends and I had just recently completed a grand quest ensuring the well being of a local business and its patron. We were celebrating and taking a bit of a reprieve when we ran into our mutual acquaintance, Lazarus. He must have been impressed by are heroic stature and impressed with our tales of battle because he invited us here to meet you.
"Corpse told you to come here," rumbles the man in a voice like a bear's, " Because I told him to. " This seems to be all he wishes to communicate for the moment, because he falls silent again.
"Alright, Well My name is Shiv and I am pretty good at killing people... but prefer to kill bad people.. now I understand that you all appear to be bad people that that is fine... I don't kill ALL bad people.... I am pretty sure some of my fellow companions here would be considered BAD people..."Shiv will smile and look around flicking his tongue before looking back to the man. "sometimes bad people pay people to kill other bad people... I would be OK with that... you looking to kill some bad people?" Shiv will say very rapidly, shifting his weight from one clawed foot to the other rapidly. "Or did you have something else in mind?"The vaishino will tilt his head just a small amount as his tail continues to sway rapidly waiting to hear what the man had to say.
Thanking the shopkeeper, Jevyn took his purchase and the map and stepped out of the antiques shop. Taking a moment to read the map and marking his current location, he set off to find the Frowning Jester once more.

"I have a proposition that I believe you will find hard to refuse." Slaine replies. " Corpse, acquaint them with the details. "
The albino teifling rises from his chair. "The Cazanarro guild, a great rival of ours, is planning to smuggle a quantity of Lithmir extract, a lethal poison, to an unknown buyer. We have information on the shipments route, and we want you to intercept the Lithmir before it reaches it's destination. Without the 500,00 gold pieces or so that the sale would have generated the already deeply indebted Cazanarro guild will be crippled, and we will have disposed of a dangerous rival. You will each recieve 200 gold pieces upon the completion of this task."

You have no trouble locating the tavern, and you are ushered into the back room in time to hear Slaine's proposition.
"1:Is it okay for this to be traced back to you or is there a need for discretion?
2: How large of a shipment... as in do we have to protect and escort back a box, single cart or caravan once we intercept or just destroy the shipment?
3: Will any assistance be provided for this task, such as equipment (rope, caltrops, grapple) or transport?" Tak asks.
Corpse smiles. "Your questions are anticipated. In the unlikely event that you are captured, you are to deny affiliation with us at all costs. The shipment is nothing more than a small case, but it is most likely the most valuable case you will ever touch. Four of our best men will accomany you on your mission, and they have been given similar instructions as you. The heist will be initiated at approximately 2:00 o'clock in the morning, two days from now, at a location to be disclosed to you an hour beforehand. Do you have any further questions?"
"I apologize for my lateness," Jevyn said as he slid into a chair. "I was held up on my here." He listened intently to Slaine's proposal. When prompted for questions, he raised a hand before responding. "Do you have any specific information regarding the transport and its escort? As well as any instructions regarding the survival of the members of the escort? And if possible, could you explain the Cazanarro guild to me. I'm not familiar with this association or your rival."
"My dear hobgoblin, you bring up some good points. However, the man we captured and wrung this previous information from unfortunately died during interrogation before we could get details on the guards and escort. We believe there will be no more than ten guards, because the Cazanarro guild is low on men and resources at this time. The Cazanarro guild is run by a corrupt merchant and his three sons. They have taken advantage of the lack of order in The God's Hope to establish an extensive drug and poison operation. The lithir extract, painstakingly collected over the course of six months, would be their greatest sale in a decade should they complete the transaction."
Shiv will shift back and forth a bit, listening to the mans words.... "So.... like I said before.. killing shady and bad people is totally fine.. but how do we know you aren't trying to trick us here..The Green Viashino will say with a grin "I mean... I would If I were you... Who is to say that this gang... " he will lift up his clawed hands and make air quotes around the word gang "Is not just some small time mom and pop operation that only has a few guards because they are having a rough time making ends meet and they are trying to make a sweet deal selling some healing potion ingredients.... and you are trying to get them to fail so you can buy their amazing plot of land and setup another shady tavern once they are bankrup and cannot pay their bills....or something.... that was just an example...." Shiv will look around a moment and shrug "I mean, I can give other examples of ways you might be lying to us if you wish..."
Atlas stands there completely motionless. He's ready to act in a moment as, surely, his companions are about to invoke the wrath of their would-be employer.
"Yes, yes." The gnome hands you a detailed map of the city, and bows you out of his shop.

"Hello again Corpse some directions to your establishment would have helped..." Locke steps forward and extends his hand to shake Corpse's.
"And Mr. Slaine is it? A pleasure to meet you" Locke moves his hand towards the new acquaintance.
