Out Of The Abyss

Gremryl does an investigation check...and knocks all indiscriminately on the door and wall in various places. 

"Where is the blasted door...should be around here somewhere... 'hello? Anyone home??' Bloody forges..."

    Gremryl's investigation check doesn't turn up anything useful in identifying the way in..

After watching Grem's shenanigans for several moments, Rowland will approach and knock loudly 3 times then wait for a response. 

Three knocks are returned in approximately the same tone and frequency. 

Rowland will answer with 2 knocks. 

...

    The floor beneath Mikey, Gremryl and Rowland gives way immediately and without warning!

Each character rolls a Dexterity check!

Dexterity roll: 11

If he succeeds, Rowland will attempt to shove Grem and Mikey to safety.

If that check fails, I'll engage my slow fall to glide down smoothly and then perhaps take further actions depending on what I see as I fall.  

Strength check to avoid fall=25

Elmo strides confidently to the breakfast table.  He grabs a plate and starts grabbing food.

"Leon mate!  How was ye night?"

Elmo takes a seat and begins to stuff his face. 

"Where is everybody?"  

What the blazes dex check 20

    Rowland is able to quickly grab onto a part of the ledge that didn't give away beneath him and saves himself from the fall.  Mikey isn't able to prevent falling into the pit although with his slow falling monk ability, and an incredible feat of strength, he does manage to find enough grip on the side of the pit wall to prevent falling all the way to the bottom.  Mikey is holding on precariously to the wall about 25 feet down.  Gremryl manages to grab hold of Rowland to prevent falling all the way to the bottom.

If that fails, Rowland will attempt to trigger his shared passage as a bonus action to gert himself and Grem to safety.

Pull yourself up lad! Dont know what's in this blasted tunnel. 

"I'm trying . . . you're a . . . heavy one!" Beads of sweat begin to stream down Rowlands face and his arms shake violently as he continues to struggle.

Tuning towards Elmo
