To Yuk Yuk

”The drow say there are treasures and death in them. Let’s see what our luck brings.”

"Hopefully more treasure for us and death for them eh cleric! "

“Agreed beard Bro! I don’t need you dying before the competition.”

“They’ll be no dying on me part lad, moradins will upon us! How long before the gobly comes back?” 

    Spiderbait comes hustling back with a few large flasks that you hope is filled with something containing alcohol.  You're in luck, whether it be by Lady Tymora or just plain well-deserving of it, the large flasks are indeed filled with a most fantastic spirit...or so you still hope.  Spiderbait opens one up as he walks towards Gremryl.  Raising it to his lips, you see whatever's inside of the flask, begin to drain itself into the Goblin's mouth.  He hands that one to Gremryl.  Then hands another to Leon.  Taking the other two back to where his brother, Yuk Yuk sits, they both begin to drink.

    Yuk Yuk glances over at Spiderbait with his trademark, toothy grin and says,

Yuk Yuk - "We's liking dem spirit dey got, eh brudda?  Hehe." Then he glances back at both Gremryl and Leon.  Bringing his fist up towards his brother, and clearly challenging you with his stare-down, he says to the both of you, "Dis how brudda's respect when it's da real ting."

    Spiderbait raises his fist up towards his brother's.  Looking over at both of you, while keeping fist just inches from Yuk Yuk's, he says,

Spiderbait - "Let's go, brudda!" He says in a firm tone.

    The fists join together and then pull apart repeatedly making various signs with each separation, and often times making a bang or a clap sound as the brothers put on a truly awesome performance.  Nobody can take their eyes off of the near-perfect synchronicity of their movements.  With a finishing double flourish of fancy footwork, the brothers end their fist-bro-bump challenge in an applaudable pose that commands a certain respect.  They seem only slightly winded between the two of them.

    The Web Runners of the Underdark look on for your reaction in confidence.  Oh...and do you drink from the flask that Spiderbait handed you?

Morgana is offended that she wasn't offered libations.  In response to the display of hand movements she says, "Wow, you two must be just wonderful at fingering one another.  Let me show you clowns how it's done!"  She then puts on a similar show with her mage hand.  Since the hand is disembodied, it is able to conjure up more spins and flourishes than are available to a more anchored appendage.  Her ability to soar also adds a flying trapeze element to Morgana's performance.

Leon casts disguise self and makes himself look like Grem. A set of bearded dwarf twins now stand next to each other.

"Lets show them how it is done beard brother. Tymora be with us." Leon casts guidance on himself and Grem

Leon approaches Grem and puts out his hand to begin their handshake.

Seeing the awesome display by the brothers and Morgana with her mage hand.l 

"Aye, a challenge they want! then Moradin and tymora bless us! back in me day, I was in the adarrian army talent show. Grems the entertainer they be calling me!

    Morgana steps forward and with great embellishment performs numerous aerial maneuvers while her Mage Hand spins and contorts accordingly.  The display is more than anyone expected to see and highly entertaining to say the least.

Yuk Yuk - "Not bad, miss!  Not bad!"  The Goblin gives his approval of the performance.

    Leon steps forward next, not to be outdone, and with an incantation he copies the appearance of Gremryl perfectly.  Raising a fist towards the Dwarf, he waits for Gremryl to begin the Beard Bro's Spectacular.

    Gremryl, ready for the performance of his lifetime.  Raising his fist to match Leon's, he starts out, embarrassingly, on the wrong foot.  Leon makes up for his partner's miss-step, and the show continues on.  A dazzlying display of ankle locks, coordinated turns, a backflip from Leon, followed by a failed backflip attempt by Gremryl to finish on a hard note...to Gremryl's face on the ground if we're being literal.

    The Web Runners both look at each other with their toothy-grins and burst out laughing hysterically.

Yuk Yuk - "Hahahahaha!  Ok, ok..."  He tries to control himself as his brother continues to double over in laughter.  "Da Human, yas did good!  Dat fat Dwarf though...Hahahaha!"  Again, trying to stifle his laughter as best he can.  "Yas no good.  No good, no good."

    Glancing over at Spiderbait, Yuk Yuk gives a nod and in turn, Spiderbait takes from the pouch on his hip a couple of small vials.

Spiderbait - "Dis be helpin' yas.  Pudgy Dwarf no win.  Sorry, das da rules."  After he hands Leon and Morgana a vial each, he walks back to his place on a rock next to Yuk Yuk.

Yuk Yuk - "Tombs...dey full o' traps.  Dis vial help yas see dem."  He says as he holds one up for the others to see the opaque, grey-ish liquid inside.  "Now den.  Who be ready to keep on?"

    With that, Spiderbait walks over to Leon and waits with arms out for the flasks he once handed over.

Gremryl gets up and brushes himself off. 

I wasn't uh.. ready lads.. me joints were rusty from the dampness in these here caves. Maybe ye give this old pudgy dwarf another chance and I'll show ye some adbarrian river cave dancing eh! Maybe an extra share of me gold too?"

the check is to let him try again, but to do a adbarrian cave dance which is like dwarven river dancing! 

“Spiderbait my new friend” as Leon hands the flask back, “What was in that flask? Looked mighty tasty but I fear my god won’t allow me to drink alcohol at this time if that is what it was. Thank you for the vial as well.”

Leon focuses on the vial and attempt to discern what it is.

To the goblins:  "Trap detection elixir, eh?  Thanks, fellas!  This may come in handy."

To Grem:  "Don't take it to hard, buddy.  I can fly and Leon is lucky.  You never stood a chance!  But you went down swinging despite the odds, which is why I'll always admire you (gives him a peck on the cheek).  As a show of my fondness, you can have this vial that I won.  You are most likely gonna be in the lead and will need it more than I will.  It's what's best for the team (hands over vial that the goblin gave her)."

To morgana: “lass, you’re a right friend ye know that! In my day I was quite spry on me feet! Off ye be offering I be taking and obliged ye for it. Mathson ye will still be seeing me skills when we get to G tow eh!” 

He looks at morgana like a father seeing his daughter do a good deed for the first time... proud 

    Yuk Yuk and Spiderbait lead the way towards the Lost Tomb of Khaem.  Out of the cave and back into the expanse of the Silken Paths, the group once again travels along the spider silks slowly and carefully.  This time, they're on a slight incline that leads up towards a higher level interchange.  You wonder how these silks were originally formed...and for what purpose...

     Looking around, you notice that your Goblin Guide, Gogo is no longer with you.  Recalling the last time you interacted with him was when you first met with the Web Runners.  You vaguely remember him following you onto the spider silks, but after that your focus was on not falling from the narrow strands.  You wonder what a Goblin spends his gold on down here...some Underdark merchant bazaar perhaps?

    Reaching the next web interchange, Yuk Yuk takes a sharp left and it once again inclines upwards but this time it leads to a cave opening in the far distance.

Gremryl is on the case

    The group moves forward, carefully traversing the Silken Paths for fear of falling to their death...or the webbing between the chasm floor and the strand they walk on.  Quietly they pass, and unmolested by the creatures that stir about them.  Soon you arrive at another web interchange and this time Yuk Yuk takes the right path, leading slightly downward towards another interchange.  You wonder how much farther the tomb is from here.  Surely this will be worth it...you all think to yourselves quietly.

Gremryl looks around and is inspecting the webs, rocks etc... 

" these caves and webs.. they give me the creeps..how much of this is natural, and how much did these dirty spiders do eh? gobly's, how much farther..."

I'll cast divine sense just because, I want to get to see if theres some extra evil going on.
