Bommie gives a sales pitch for her organization. She is wearing a silver pin of a falcon in flight. The other guards nearby have similar, but smaller, pins. (Only putting the speech in a spoiler, so you can fold it up when done reading.)
"I'm part of the Watchful Guild. We are always looking out for promising new talent. I'd like to invite you back to the base that I use as a home. At the least, you could use instructors and training grounds to improve your abilities. I'd give you the member rate for your training (10 GP total, for the 2 days you'll need to reach 3rd level). We can also process the paper parchment-work needed to enter the city, for 1 GP.
"I was a little worried about how you would handle the bandits that you captured, but you stopped at a little payback for the criminals, which is understandable. Be careful. The laws written after the Mad Earl's reign gives rights to prisoners. Corrupt officials often ignore those laws, but that won't stop those in power from enforcing those laws against young adventurers such as yourselves, if you abuse your strength.
"You may have heard of theFactionsthat have power in the old nations in the east. It is too dangerous in the frontier to have the bickering and squabbling between those organizations. Out here, adventurers tend to align with Guilds, for protection and information. The Watchful Guild is one of the groups that keep the wilds in the West safe from dangers. We aren't the largest, but we have strength and a proud reputation. We have some members that belong to any of the five Factions, although most of us don't belong to any of the eastern Factions.
"If, after your training, you decide not join our Guild, you can still do freelance assignments for us. You won't get the full membership benefits, but there would still be work to keep food on your table."
(Your party does not have to accept her offer for the 2 day visit. But you are new to the city. She and her organization could provide information for the next 2 days, as you get familiar with the area. The Caravan has been using the Watchful Guild for protection for some years, and the merchants think well of them. If you turn her down, you'd have to do some searching to find other facilities that would be adequate to train to Level 3. If the party accepts, please subtract 11 GP from your stash.)

(Everyone add 8 SP, 35 GP to your loot. Decide who adds the Bag of Holding to their inventory. Also, who gets the Gem of Brightness, since Af & Katrina will be leaving the party.)
(I'll take the gem if no one else wants it. It's a gem worth at least 50gp once expended (plus bonuses until then), so that could be my gem for Chromatic Orb instead of randomly already having a 50gp diamond)
Froskan looks around in awe and wonder as they enter the city. His first time in a real city! He'd never imagined so many buildings in one place, or so BIG! After listening to Bommie's speech, he looks to the others. "At the very least, I think the training would be worthwhile,"he says. "And I'm interested in learning more about the Guild. They seem to have a worthwhile purpose."
"Ah, more training, yes! I love this part! But the watchful guild... I'll think about that. But for now, I accept." (Never answered. Do I still have the long sword and great club? Can I add them to my inventory?)
(Froskan: Nope, still outside the city. You can see some of the buildings that are taller than the wall, and some of the temples in the Avenue of the Divine through the gap in the wall... The Watchful Guild compound is the northern suburbs, outside the low wall. But she has offered to process the documents you will need to enter the city.
Jack: Long sword, yes. Ogre-sized great club, no... Yeah, the offer is for the visit and the training. After that is over, you can decide if you want to apply for membership, or do freelance work for their guild.
Edit: I have added the Gem of Brightness to Froskan's inventory, and Jack has a Bag of Holding and a longsword.)

You walk with the Watchful Guild to their compound north of the city. The main building only had a few members in it, but is bustling with activity now that group from the Caravan has returned. (There are also about a score of servants helping with meal preparations, cleaning, and other errands.) After each of you pay the 11 GP, Bommie informs you that your Nunkreet city IDs will be ready at the end of your training in 2 days.
She leads you to an outdoor area with straw scarecrows, a rack of practice weapons, and other equipment for practicing fighting skills. There is one figure with a longbow practicing. There is a shield-sized target swinging from a rope underneath a tree a hundred feet away from him. He fires 3 arrows in quick succession, and gives a "tsk" when only 2 of the arrows hit the bullseye circle.
Bommie: "I've been told that another promising newcomer arrived from the north this morning. He is doing similar training as your group, so you will be together the next 2 days. You have some time to introduce yourselves, while I tell the instructor that he has a new class waiting for him. Dinner will be served in the main building after this session." She smiles, then jogs to the main building.

Reverie follows Bommie until she sees the scarecrows for practising. It surely has been while to practice on this object. Her fingertips touch the scarecrow for a moment and then turns around to look at Jack, starting to practice with a longsword. And yet, her eyes go wide as soon as she witnesses Jack pointing to the newcomer with a longsword. She gasps a bit when she sees his longsword swinging in front of the newcomer, and yet, she realizes his sword didn't hurt the other. A sigh escapes, shaking her head slightly as her hands rest upon her hip. Well, Reverie just can't stay there with doing anything. "Don't hurt him or anybody, Jack!"After a word for her friend, she pulls out her scimitar and her dagger before she attacks the scarecrow.
