Froskan continues to try to turn the shark into an icicle.

Frostbite, 5

Jack waves back the figure on the island, who stumbles as he reaches the water's edge. With fatigue, he nods and steps back. With gestures and unheard mutterings, he summons arcane protection (mage armor).

Jack wades forward and slashes at the merrow for 7 damage (32 total).

Froskan is one step closer to chilled shark sushi. Shark CON save DC 13: 17 - more shark frost (19 total, it is almost entirely covered in ice)

The merrow continues attacking Reverie. Bite Attack: 25 Damage: 7, Claw Attack: 13 Damage: 11 - Reverie takes a fierce bite again and is hurting (2/28)

Reverie and Trimyrai are up, then the shark.

Trimyrai is going to move closer and then try to shoot at the other mer monster. (M1)

Movement: Trimyrai will move over next to Froskan so, trim will have a better shot at M1 and the shark.

Action: Attack: (my range 150 (600) ) 14 (attack with longbow/piercing)

Damage: (if it hits) 4 (piercing damage)

Reverie winces, realizing she needs to use [Tooltip Not Found] or she might going to die early. Once she casts her cure wound, she touches her shoulder for curing herself.

Cast, Cure Wound - 8

Trimyrai strikes again. (M1 has taken 40 damage total.) Both the merrow and the shark are in bad shape.

Reverie casts her healing spell and is back to 10 hp.

The shark bites at Reverie. Bite Attack: 15 Damage: 5 The teeth are unable to damage Reverie's chain mail.

Start of Round 5

Jack and Froskan are up, then the merrow.

Jack slashes at the Merrow again, hoping to bring it down.

Attack: 13 Damage: 2

Seeing that Reverie is in a bad way, Froskan turns his attention to the Merrow, launching a ball of lightning (Chromatic Orb) at it, hoping to put it down before it could attack his ally again.

Attack: 13 Damage: 15

Jack slashes the merrow, but it holds onto a thread of life. Then Froskan cuts that thread with an orb of lightning. Jack lets out a yelp and gives Froskan a dirty look, since he was holding a metal weapon and standing in salt water 5’ away from the spell explosion.

Reverie and Trimyrai are up, then the shark (only enemy left).

Trimyrai is going to try to attack the shark.

Movement: no movement this turn.

Damage: (if it hits) 7 (piercing damage) 

Bonus Action: no bonus action this turn.

Trim's arrow goes in the open jaw of the reef shark, killing it.

Your group looks around carefully, but you don't perceive any more enemies.

Combat is over.

Trimyrai will not be able to recover arrows from this combat. (Damaged, or lost in the bay waters.)

The reef shark is mostly frozen. If Jack slices the head off, the body can be put in the bag of holding for later use as sushi or fish steaks.

You have some time to visit the nearby shipwreck and talk to the humanoid standing next to the ship's anchor, but don't dally too long. The tide is rising, and the blood (and dead merrows) will eventually attract more sharks.

The humanoid on the island slumps to his knees with a look of relief on his face. (The glaive that he was holding is gone now.) He tries to say something to Jack (the closest person), but is only able to let out a dry wheeze. He mimes the action of holding a cup and bringing it to his lips, and looks around the group.

”Ah! Ok!” Jack chops off the head, and pulls out an empty perfume bottle, looking unused but is clearly empty asJack fills it with water. He brings it up to the man. “here ye go. Drink up. What are he doin out here! Ye could be eaten by a Kraken.” Jack looks at him confused, before saying a suggestion. “Come on, we need to get out before mor sharks show up.

The humanoid gratefully accepts the flask, and slowly drinks. Up close, Jack can tell that the guy has not been given water in over a day, and was in a serious fight in the recent past. The guy shakes Jack's hand, and eyes the shipwreck 40' away from them.

(OOC: If you are not familiar with merrows, Jack will explain later that they were a race of mermen whose ancestors worshipped evil gods, and were corrupted into demon-like creatures.)

As the man walks with him to shore (or swims C: ) Jack gets curious. “Who’ve  ye been scrapping with? You look beat up. And what’re ye doing here? And why are those stupid Merrows after ye.”

(Today was a busy day for me. I am so sorry for not able to reply quickly ;-;)

Reverie exhales deeply as she put her weapons away. With a nod for gratitude towards Froskan, she looks back at Jack and the man, walking towards the wrecked ship. Frowning slightly as she witnesses them, she walks towards them cautiously. "Is that man injured, Jack?" She asks from a distance.

”been in a fight recently!”

Trimyrai does not put his bow away and watches the stranger closely.

Trimyrai: (to the party and the stranger) "Everyone alright? Jack it looked like you got hit by Froskan's magic."

”Almost. Froskan, ye better watch it. Use common sense. Lightning+Metal+Water+Me=Fried Jack for dinner.”

Reverie laughs as she heard what Jack says. "But, I must thank Froskan to help me out when I got in trouble." Then she walks towards the man, checking his current condition.

Medicine - 8

Froskan scoffs.  "Jack's fine.  That bolt went exactly where it was meant to.  Didn't even shock Mr Sensitive there."

”Nit sensitive, he just need to watch it. It may have went where it needed to, but what if it didn’t. There’s a difference between sensitive and cautious.”
