Briar looks at everyone and speaks, "well I don't know about the rest of you but I am too used to living on the streets or in the wild, I am going to look for a spot to set up camp and not waste time in a blood-splattered alley so anyone wants to join me (us) is welcome, if not a good evening to you."
The Hedge Witch turns to Hanzo and projects her thoughts just to him,'I don't think we have anything to worry about with this lot, they look harmless enough, I don't think they are with the snake guy so if they want to share a camp, fine, if not that's up to them. So let's start walking and looking for a spot, no reason to just mull around here in one place.'
Briar starts walking slowly away from the group heading outside of town, anyone that wants to follow or tag along is welcome...
Briar is one just keep on the move so up to you all if you want to stand in one spot and hash it all no problem but Briar is continuing on.. can walk and talk as easily as standing in one spot but up to you all... Briar has made her choice. :)
Hanzo thinks back to Briar “This is all just so strange but if you want to trust them I can’t change your mind, I’ll be keeping an eye on them though.”
Hanzo turns everyone else “We have a place to be and it’s far, we don’t have time to stand around. What you decide to do is up to you.” He then turns and begins to walk with Briar
Zaroc rubs the sleep out of his eyes, then responds to the character in the white fur "Yes, however it was awfully rude of this fishy fellow to wake me". He shoots the Triton a dirty look. "Anyway, names Zaroc." He extends a hand to the white wolf to shake. "You guys hungry?"
Briar takes Hanzo's hand into hers as they walk and projects her thoughts, 'sometimes it better to keep the unknown... known and in plain sight than hidden lurking in the shadows. If they come along we keep an eye on them and maybe find out more about them and their motives. If they don't come along with us and follow us on the sly well then that tells us something too.'
"We're looking for an Old Man and I believe we're heading in the same direction so if you are willing to share your campfire, I would be happy to join you, safety in numbers and all." Terrance replies to Briar and Hanzo.
He then follows after the two of them hoping the rest will follow him.
Hanzo smiles internally at the thought of Briar holding his hand, it’s been a long time since he’s held anyone’s hand.. he thinks back to Briar “Looks like they’re coming with us, and they too are looking for the old man. We should question them once we make camp find out why they’re looking for him.”
Ducolis's face is one of shock as he sees the rat which he unwillingly accepted turn into a dwarf and is immediatly insulted by and also being pushed aside by the scrawny elvish fellow. He is unable to say anything for a brief moment until he regains his posture and says "I agree with Terrance that there is safety in numbers, but I WILL NOT sleep in a camp at the side of the street like any common beggar. A private room in a decent tavern is the minimal I will sleep in."His face now straigth and serious.
Before leaving Ducolis quiely whispers to Terrance "Do you not know what laying low is or are you just stupid and why would you say who you are looking for to them. You dont even know there motives for why they are after the man."
"I know what laying low is but I thought between the tiny girl and the single rock head we could deal with any potential problems. I didn't know the thought of small girls made you quiver in fear." Terrance grumbles to Ducolis' back.
While they are walking along, Terrance still with the aim to camp outside the city limits with Briar, Hanzo and any of Terrance's current group who will join him, Terrance turns to Zaroc and asks "So what was that whole rat thing about? That doesn't happen every time you fall off a stool does it?"
Hanzo to Ducolis “If you’re going to the old man you may want to get used to sleeping in the dirt, it’s a long walk and there won’t be any taverns or inns to sleep in on the way.”
@Terrence- "when I fall off stools or when I get blackout drunk mostly. I should mention that I am considerably in touch with nature itself and have the ability to channel it through my being. Please excuse my hijinks, however I do hope you found it useful so far"
@whitewolf "And you, fellow clad in furs. I do appreciate your attention, however any damage I take in another form does not affect my being in this state. So despite maybe needing dinner and a nap, I am in no need of medical attention at this time" Zaroc says.
"As for me, I do not much care where we lay our heads for the night. I am used to living among the animals, as well as within civilization "
While walking Ducolis says "People, I was serious when I said that I am not going to sleep at the side of the road. If necessary I'll pay for rooms if got more than enough to pay for it anyway."
As the party reaches the edge of the city, they come across The Dusty Ox Inn. Adamant on sleeping indoors, Ducolis convinces everyone to stay at the inn, offering to pay for the rooms.
In the Dusty Ox Inn Terrance turns to Zaroc "I guess now is as good time as any to get you that meal I offered you earlier." Terrance walks up to a counter in the Inn and speaks the person behind the counter. "Could I get your finest meal for 2 please. And we'll need a lot ale." (2 wealthy meals and about 4 gallons of ale)
The White Wolf hesitantly follows the rest of the group into the inn . He doesn't seem particularly comfortable with the idea, but he follows none-the-less. He stays at the back of the group, and since he's already rolled poorly for Perception, we'll just assume he's still staring at the floor.

"I don't mind where we sleep," says the White Wolf calmly. "But we should find some food and a safe place to stop so that I can tend to Zaroc."
He sees to Zaroc to make sure he can walk and then turns to follow after Terrance and the others.

The White Wolf bows his head to Zuroc and murmurs, "Of course. My mistake." He backs off, then falls to the back of the group.
