Conrad looks at Stan confused. "It's still late afternoon. We're only 90 minutes away from our rooms and the town. Why would we camp out here in the open next to this abandoned ship when we have food and shelter waiting for us? I thought we were just resting a moment to figure out where we go from here"
Leo suddenly paused for a moment, and then began digging through his pack. "If we're staying here, I need to head back to town really quick. I forgot my set of vials, so I'll be right back." He set down his mass of seaweed before jogging back towards the town. He stopped again and returned, saying, "If anyone needs anything, let me know now."
"Thanks for contributing to our meal, Conrad! Fresh fish is much better then trail rations.", Stan says as he tries his hand at whittling like Lumin. His attempt is ghastly; but passes the time.
"ahh storytime by the campfire, fun. I mean I just sorta saw all these dickead monsters attacking the towns and sorts and said **** it, these guys gonna kill me anyways might as well go down fighting and started hunting down these guys and killing em if I could, What about the rest of yalls."

"Ah, a monster hunter like myself. I like your style, man. As for me, nothing much to say. Son of a famous military assassin, mom is dead, dad got killed protecting me, and now I'm here. Lots of daddy issues, I guess...........", John says, looking at his bow with a grim look. "But hey, I'm just a man trying to bring light into this dark world, one arrow strike at a time.".
Stan chuckles, "No great story here. I'm just a drifter, drifting... I make my way in the world by my skill with cards & my wits. When those fail me, by steel." Stan rests his hand on the rapier at his side with the last comment.
Conrad and Leo, unfamiliar with the area, take an hour to returnto Byting as opposed to the half-hour journey it took to get to the beach. When they arrive in town, they see a large group of people outside the Grisly Feast standing in a circle around something in the street. The crowd includes the innkeeper and his wife, a few of the fishermen you fought, and Gormund.
Leo cocked his head to the side. "What do you think they're looking at?" He slid around the outside of the crowd, trying to find a good spot to view whatever it was the crowd was looking at.
"That's one of them!" Yells a rough voice. You recognize it as one of the fisherfolk you fought earlier, simultaneously catching a glimpse at the object on the ground: the corpse of the fisherman who took a dart to the face.
If you wish to escape notice in the crowd, make a Stealth check.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing that Leo has been spotted, Conrad ducks behind the closest building in hopes to hide himself from the crowd (and if we are far enough away I would like to grab Leo and pull him behind the building as well).
Hearing the fisherman's accusation, Leo scrambled for a place to hide. Seeing that the door to the inn was still open, he ducked inside and slipped up the stairs, collecting the rest of his equipment. He began to look for a second exit. "Of all the times to have this happen..."
Stan volunteers for the 1st watch tonight.
