Donaar, still in bird form, makes bird noises loudly to indicate you should search for traps.

"Let's do it," Aegean says, searching for traps on the door, then doing his usual from the last round if he finds none, opening the door while staying behind it as it opens in case anything comes through (or stepping to the side as it opens if it opens into the new room).

Aegean spots no traps, nor can Merzin dig anything out of the corrosive mess.

Do I take any damage from it?

(Nope, you're good.)

 Aegean opens the door (same way described in my last post)

An arrow shoots out of a hidden slot in the wall, taking Aegean in the shoulder. Attack: 26 Damage: 14

Aegean yelps in pain and looks around to see where in the wall the arrow came from.

Donaar looks for any traps Aegan missed. perception:12

Donaar scrutinizes the door and realizes that there is an almost unidentifiable pressure plat on the doors surface, releasing an arrow from the right wall when pushed.

Donaar gestures to it with his beak, as an attempt to get Aegan's attention.

Sssyd watches as Donaar is pierced with an arrow.  "What iss it?" he hissed.  "Iss there ssomeone or something out there?"

(that was aegan.)

"Man, our luck isn't great so far." Says Merzin.

"What's that Donaar?  Timmy's down the well again?" Aegean jokes, taking the bird's hint and looking where Donaar is trying to direct his attention.

(Assuming I can identify the pressure plate with the gestures from Donaar, can I tell if it can be disarmed or if the door can be opene din a way so as to not trigger it?)

Having been directed to the trap, Aegean thanks Donaar and opens the door using his normal procedure in a way that won'tt rigger the trap.

Donaar makes threatening bird noises and points to the Dust Devil, whom he hasn't sent away yet, then you, then stomps his foot on the ground, as a threat to stop Aegan from making fun of him.

(Donaar is cracking me up.)

Directly beyond the wooden door is another door leading west, deeper into the dungeon.

Aegean chuckles as donaar throws a hissy fit.  Opening the door he sees....another door.  Letting out a sigh, Aegean steps back and looks back to Donaar, then points at the door.  "You clearly are better at finding traps than I am."
