The small room you are standing in is barely large enough to fit the dragon wyrmling and Kic in bear form together. There is an iron door in the north wall, and behind you, through the archway, a corridor runs west.
Perry pokes the dragon's corpse to no stunning effect.
During the time Kic was taking to gather materials from the slain wyrmling, Humphry would have sat down and tried to cast Detect Magic as a ritual again. When it's activated, does Humphry sense anything out of the ordinary?
Dagon grins with satisfaction as his team slays the silver dragon wyrmling with ease. The warrior waits patiently for Kic to finish harvesting his collection, then when the Aarakocra is finished, the half-orc reaches down and dips his fingers in the wyrmling's still warm blood. He begins chanting softly in his guttural pigeon fusion of Orc and Giant and smears the blood across his tattoo'd face, across the front of his armor, and along the notched and battle-scarred edge of his greataxe. Gradually his chanting subsides and then gently, almost reverently, the marauder places a hand on the slain creature's head.
"You drew my blood, noble beast. Now I wear yours." He says quietly in Common under his breath.
After this, the half-orc joins his fellows in looking around their current room. He glances toward the archway, then toward the iron door, and furrows his heavy brow in thought. As Kic asks the pertinent question of the moment, Dagon turns toward his winged companion and half-shrugs a single shoulder.
"Corridor, or doorway. Generally, the stone dwellers build doors to keep things out of particular areas, is this not so? It might benefit us to open the door and explore what is behind it, and if it turns out we are chasing our own tails, we can always double back to this corridor." The warrior then turns toward Humphry once the gnome has completed his ritual spell, "How about it, little hunter? Do you think you can discern whether or not that door is safe to crack open?"
Humphry discovers a thin string, no thicker than a fishing line, ascending from the doorknob to the ceiling. Upon opening the door a large stone block would be released- very similar to the contraption you triggered last year, and the perpetrator of Perry's previously broken leg.
With his face close to the wire, Humphry looks up and sees the slab hanging above him, and slowly inches away from the door. He points to the block hanging from the ceiling and addresses the party, "Should w-w-w-w-we trigger it, o-o-or try to disarm it?"
The half-orc marauder nods in agreement with Kic's suggestion.
"Yes, I agree pack mate. We know what a trap such as this one is capable of, and the sound of it being sprung will alert us to any prey that tries to over take us from behind. Let us investigate that corridor and see what lies to the west."
Dagon will then heft his greataxe and begin moving toward the archway, though he will wait before proceeding until his party is gathered.
The corridor runs south and then turns sharply eastward. A branch leads north to a wooden door, while the main corridor continues east, deeper into the dungeon.
(Flanking advantage to rolls?)
Kic bites the dragon in the neck and fells it with a backhand swat of his massive paw. You stand over the body of your defeated foe.

Kic will step over the beast and roar loudly.
Humphry's posture relaxes as he sees the creature go down, and starts taking in his surroundings more fully. Perception 13
"A Chimera vs a dragon. Quite the spectacle."
Perry pokes at the creature with his quarterstaff expecting it to explode or shape change after such an easy victory.

Kic will come out of wildshape and attempt to salvage some dragon scales, blood, teeth or horns with his dagger and vials.

(crap)
Kic takes a few minutes to accomplish the task, but he manages to collect all of the above.

"which way shall we go?" Kic will say as he once again conjures the flame and marks the ground by the portcullis.

"Oh, b-b-but of course" Humphry squeezes his way through the tightly packed room to examine the iron door on the north wall. Investigation 17

Humphry looks between the two and nods, "Works for m-m-m-m-me" and waits for someone to take the lead down the corridor.
Kic will fly over and lead the way cautiously looking for any signs of traps or enemies and making sure his team is still with him.
