My heart races as i see the large groups of hobgoblins meeting up. Here is a chance to destroy more of these foul creatures. I gesture towards the enemies. " Kill them Caesar. " He lumbers towards the hobgoblins and wades into combat biting and swinging his fists with great violence. I then concentrate and summon armor to cover me. A glowing suit of plate armor materializes around me. The glow is brilliant and extends outwards from me. I stagger for a moment as i feel some of my strength leave my body. I feel so weak now. Thinking quickly i visualize the raptors ( actually deinonychus) from the Jurassic Park movie franchise. Shortly afterwards a 6 foot tall greenish deinonychus stands in my place surrounded by brightly glowing plate mail. i sniff the air and prepare to charge into combat as well. I will head towards the right flank of the right side group to prepare to charge in next turn.
Caesar speed is 30 ft. He will try to charge into combat on surprise round. Caesar will attempt to move to I10 and engage the enemy in front of him. His Ac is 17. My Ac is 22 with the luminous armor and any melee attack against me suffers a minus 4. My speed is 60. I will move up to O15.
Looking around, I quickly pick a target and fire. Working in sync with Thalica, we keep up the barrage as best we can, targeting the most troublesome targets.
Nothing fancy, just picking targets and shooting. In the unlikely event a large group of them try to run away at once, and might actually get away, I will activate a fireball scroll to detonate in their midst. Target priority for both me and Thalica is as follows: message stone holders>anyone running away>enemy leaders>whomever else is poised to cause us the most trouble
As Rachel and Caesar run forward Johnathan and Grant do the same. Grant is able to kill the one at I9 and attack the one at H9 wounding it. Jason and Thalica team up to kill the two Hobgoblins with the stones. The hobgoblins next to them pick up the stones and raise them up.
Before as the two groups met you heard them talking about not finding the stone yet and they believe that the Black dragon that disappeared with the red Dragon have found it and took off with it. But they still must check to make sure of it.
Stepping up into the space between the two hobgoblins I place my shield to the one on the left telling him "Don't try and ignore me and join your other friends, I'll deal with you after this one," I say as I swing at the one in front of me.
Declaring Iron Guards Glare at the Hob on the left (-4 penalty to strike anyone but me) Will do my best to avoid getting flanked. If that happens, I will use my Anklet of Translocation to move from the threatened square without leaving their immediate area. Rolls include Bane.

Next round Jonathan is able to hit the one he is threatening with no issue killing it as Rachal, and Ceasar both take out another Hobgoblin with Ceasar ripping one in half and flinging the bloody parts against a nearby tree spattering him in blood and gore as well as Grant. Grant is able to kill the one in front of him with no issues as Jason and Thalica both take out the ones closest to the stones you are familiar with now. Travis is able to hit one wounding it. You continue to lay into the Hobgoblins Jonathan hits the hobgoblin in front of him killing it. Grant hits and kills the one to his left as Ceasar attacks and kills the one to his right. Travis meanwhile casts a spell in hopes of avoiding attacks with obscurring mist. He however is hit twice by the hobgoblins since they know where he is for 13 damage. Rachel moves to help Grant hitting the last one on him for 7 damage. Jason misses with his next shot while Thalica misses too. as the mists envelope the area to include Jason and Thalica as well as the remaining Hobgoblins.
Jonathan does not see any other Hobgoblins around them but moves towards the mists to see if any come out. Ceasar seeing no more hostiles stops attacking as Grant kills the last Hobgoblin he can see before he moves towards the mists too. Travis is unable to do anything and the two hobgoblins in the mists move. Jason and Thalica can not see more than 5 feet away so they can not see the Hobgoblins.

"No, not yet, I'm not ready," He cries and feels pain overcome him.
